OC: Silas walked up to the apartment door, Zezel and Einstein close by on their leashes sniffing the new area. The two we're accustomed to being on leashes as they acted more like dogs, since they were raised around his sisters lab. He looked at the apartment number, double checking with what was scrawled on the crumpled piece of paper in his hands. Yep this was definitely the place.Silas hesitated for a second outside the door. Wondering if he should knock or just walk in. After a brief pause he assumed he would be able to walk in, as he had texted his new roommate that he was on his way. Which, now that he thinks about it, his roommate responded by telling him the door was open.

Silas opened the door, knocking as he did so to alert his roommate that someone was coming in and he wasn’t trying to rob him. Einstein and Zezel walked in front of him, smelling the carpet as they went.

“Hello? Wren?” Silas called, reaching down to grab his suitcase and readjusting his backpack. He assumed that Wren was in his room. They had been talking since Silas found the ad online and from the week that they talked he seemed pretty cool. He paused, bending down to unhook the leashes from his girl’s harnesses.

  • Wren had been resting on the bed with his ferret, Juno, right by his side curled up and his hamster, Tubby, was in his large and heavy cage that took up the available space on the dresser. Thankfully, setting up a hamster cage was pretty ease once you got used to it - Wren has done it a lot. Wren was dressed in a loose flannel shirt that allowed air to easily flow through and keep Wren cool and comfortable, as well as some sweat pants that seemed pretty loose... loose enough to show the tip of the fox tattoo on his hip. He had been flipping through a thin paperback book when he heard his name being called. He tossed the book aside, moving to slide off of the bed with Juno following close behind him. He slid out of his room, straightening out his flannel shirt and sweatpants before going downstairs to greet Silas. Once down the stairs, Juno made her best over to the two cats and started to sniff at them out of curiosity. Wren glanced up, slightly adjusting his glasses back into place to look at Silas. "Oh, you must be Silas." He said in a greeting tone of voice towards his roommate.
