“!! Uncle look!” Joey pointed a little further north and they could see Bowser’s airship

Sonic, Joey and the villains all happened to get to the plant at the same time

"Well, well, look who's here!"

“!!” Joey pauses looking to them “aw crap...”

"No... c'mon Joey, we can't give up here!"

Sonic looked ahead before revving a spindash and rushing towards the villains.

Joey followed him “Eggman! Bowser! Get away from that plant! Dad really needs it!”

"Oh really? More reason to burn it down, then!" Eggman grinned

Joey lightly growled
Then, Sonic and Joey saw someone behind Bowser and Eggman, sneaking up to the Shrromic Kale attempting to grab it while they were distracted... it was Luigi!

Sonic looked up before back to Eggman and Bowser.
"We won't let you!"

Before Luigi could get to the plant, he was tackled and pinned down by Mecha Mario, who looked over to Mecha Sonic with a nod

Nodding, MS turned and walked towards the plant, ripping it from the ground.
Sonic gritted his teeth and revved a spindash, going at Mecha Sonic
