  • Yami slept quietly, his dreams filled with images of a large, open field of flowers and a woman bathed in near-blinding light who giggled just as the dream ended the next morning

  • Illuna hadn't slept the night before, instead having spent most of it playing with the 'children of the night' as they liked to refer to themselves as. When morning came along and she figured everyone would most likely be awake, she came back in and unsummoned her flute.

  • Yami yawned softly as he made his way downstairs, the smell of breakfast permeating throughout the house as his mother was stood in front of the cooker making a Full-English breakfast

  • Yami quietly sat down in his usual seat, waiting patiently for breakfast to be ready

"Breakfast will be a few more minutes, i just have to finish cooking the eggs" Lilith spoke up

  • Illuna

OOC: I made the fancy myself. I like it, but if you have any pointers I'd be appreciative if you could give them?

IC: Illuna sat down next to Yami just as she had the night before. She smiled to the incubus and then looked to Lilith, giving a silent nod of acknowledgement before looking back down to cleaning her flute. It was obvious she'd had the flute for a long time. The way her hands moved with such quick and flawless precision while handling it was proof enough.

  • he gave her a smile "You really care about your flute, huh?" he asked, looking up as his mother finished plating up breakfast

"Breakfast!" Lilith called up the stairs, the stampede of feet following moments later as the Hajime family gathered at the table, smiling she placed a plate in front of each of the people at the table

  • Illuna looked up at Yami's mother and gave a nod of thanks before answering Yami as she unsummoned her flute. "Yes. It's the last thing I have of my mother." She says quietly before beginning to eat.

  • Yami nodded, giving her a sympathetic look before starting to quietly eat, the soft sounds of cutlery scraping on fine china filling the kitchen

Lilith ate silently as well, her eyes meeting her husbands as they held a silent conversation between them, her lips softly curling up as she nodded

  • The incubus smiled "Ah, that? Seems to be a rare couple thing, the ability to hold a conversation with the person you love with naught but a glance" he explained "From what I've been able to determine its only possible between couples who are highly attuned to each other" he added

  • Illuna

Illuna nods slightly. "Okay then." She shakes her head. "Strange, but probably because it's the first time I've seen it happen without telepathy." She takes another bite of her food.

  • Yami chuckled "Well since dad is a human he doesnt exactly have telepathic abilities, though i do wonder, given how those two act together sometimes" he snorted

Lilith merely smiled at her son "Thats what happens after you've been together with someone for as long as myself and your father have, Yami" she said with a giggle

  • Illuna

Illuna chuckles and looks to Yami. "Your parents are stranger than mine were." She says, standing and putting her plate away. As she walks back to the table she says. "And that's saying something." She sits back down so as to be polite and wait until either everyone has finished eating or she's been excused. Whichever comes first.

  • Picking up his plate Yami moved over to the nearby sink and slid it into the hot, soapy water to be cleaned before making his way to the back door and out into the garden
