  • BLOODCLAN HP GUIDELINES

Hey everyone! This is the BloodClan HP and semi HP guide, meant to outline was is expected and required of both the people playing a high position in BloodClan, as well as what it expected of the characters that have been named a high rank of BloodClan. This guide lists both OOC requirements for having a high position or semi high position within BloodClan, as well as individual expectations for each rank within the clan. If you are currently a high position, or are seeking a high position, please be sure to read through this guide with a careful eye.

    OOC GUIDELINES FOR EVERY RANK

Activity. High positions should be consistently active at all times. Vacations and breaks may be taken, but they should either be announced via an OOC thread, or pmed to the leader for more personal matters so that demotion does not take place. However, repeated inactivity due to personal matters may result in a demotion, meaning that if (as an example) work or school is consistently keeping you inactive, and you don’t expect that to change, it may be best to leave your high position behind. Being a high position is a demanding responsibility that should be taken seriously, and if you can only post a few times a week and are failing to fill your IC requirements, demotion may be possible, particularly if there are more active candidates available.

OOC friendliness. High positions represent the clan in every way, and therefore, are expected to be friendly and welcoming whenever necessary. This does not simply encompass the BloodClan chat thread. It encompasses everything, including public discords where other people might see bad behavior and decide to leave BloodClan because of it. People that are are consistently passive aggressive, rude, or just have a habit of starting drama are not likely to be promoted, and people that have already been promoted may be demoted as a result of repeated OOC concerns. If you are a member and you are being harassed or bullied by any HP, please take the situation to not only staff, but the leader as well, and be prepared to show proof. If it is proven that an HP is causing drama and being rude, they will likely be demoted.

Participation. This really ties in with activity, but should be noted. Participation in clan events is very important for HPs. You don’t have to be in every clan event, but events and plots are what drive a clan, and as a high position, participating in these events should be seen as ‘part of the job’.

An understanding attitude. This ties into OOC behavior, but it should be noted. A leader may demote an HP for any IC reason, but the most common reason for demotion is due to IC problems. An HP needs to understand that IC actions have IC consequences, and breaking the rules IC may result in a demotion.

The ability to handle stress. Being an HP can be stressful sometimes, and while taking the occasional break is fine so you can get some relaxing me time in, repeated breaks every other week are not. HPs are expected to be able to handle the stress of being tagged in threads when their character is needed, as well as being expected to post in big events and meetings where your HPs opinions may be needed or required. If it is made evident that you cannot handle the stress of being an HP, you may be asked to step down, or be demoted.

    IC GUIDELINES FOR INDIVIDUAL RANKS

Failure to conform consistently to IC requirements may result in demotion.

    LEADER:

    • Accept joiners: Posting in joining threads and accepting joiners when the deputy is unable to is extremely important. Joiners are the life force of any clan.

    • Hold plots and events: This is self explanatory, but to keep a clan from being stale and potentially boring, a leader should hold clan-wide plots and events to keep things interesting.

    • Make tough decisions: The leader is in charge of everything, and therefore, are required to make the tough decisions.

    • Hold meetings: Leaders should hold meetings whenever they are necessary. Meetings are important for getting information out to the clan. Mini meetings can be held to report important topics when there isn’t enough information for a bigger meeting.

    • Punish rule breakers: Leaders are responsible for punishing rule breakers.

    DEPUTY:

    • Accept joiners: Posting in joining threads is a must when the leader is unable to.

    • Hold plots and events: With permission from the leader, deputies should be able to host plots and events for the clan.

    • Hold meetings: When the leader is unable to hold a meeting, but important information needs to be said, the leader may request that the deputy hold a small meeting in their place.

    • Make tough decisions: When the leader is unavailable, the deputy needs to be prepared to make the tough decisions in their place. This includes stepping up to leadership if something happens to the leader, be it OOC or IC.

    • Punishing rule breakers: By the leader’s request, a deputy may carry out the punishment of a rule breaker.

    HEAD GUARD:

    • Greet joiners: While head guards cannot accept joiners, they are expected to greet them whenever possible.

    • Train the guards: Head guards are expected to hold private training lessons for their guards in order to prepare them for ascension within the higher ranks of BloodClan.

    • Make tough decisions: Should the leader or deputy be unavailable, it is the head guard that makes the tough decisions, including becoming leader, should something happen to both the leader and deputy, either OOC or IC.

    • Punish rule breakers: The leader may request that the head guard punish rule breakers, specifically ones that are within the guard itself.

    • Hold training events: Head guards, when not hosting private events for their guards, should be hosting regular training events for the whole clan as well, and should also be keeping an eye out for potential future guards to be recommended to the leader.

    • Host plots and events: By the leader’s request, head guards may host plots or events for the clan as a whole.

    GUARDS:

    • Greet joiners: Like the head guard, regular guards are expected to greet joiners, and even show them around the territory.

    • Hold patrols: Guards are expected to host border and hunting patrols often.

    • Event participation: Guards are expected to participate in clan events and plots.

    • Report rule breakers: Guards should report any rule breaking to a rank higher than them.

    • Challenge trespassers: Guards should challenge any violent or aggressive trespassers, or those that have no reason to be there.

    • Keep the peace: Guards should keep the peace, and prevent in-fighting within the clan.

    HEALER:

    • Heal the clan: Healers are expected to heal any clan-mate that is injured unless ordered not to by the leader.

    • Maintain an herb supply: Healers should hold regular patrols to replenish their herb supplies. These can be with other clan-mates to assist in finding herbs.

    • Hold lessons: Healers should teach general first aid lessons, such as how to stop bleeding, for all BloodClanners.

    • Be vigilant for sickness: Healers should keep an eye out for sickness, and be able to quickly separate the sick from the healthy to prevent the spread of illnesses.

    • Train apprentices: Healers should choose apprentices, and host private lessons for them to become the next healers of the clan.

    HEALER APPRENTICE:

    • Heal the clan: Apprentice healers are expected to heal those they can unless ordered otherwise.

    • Participate in training with their mentor: Apprentices should be ready to learn at all times.

    • Assist in herb patrols: Apprentices should be willing to go on herb patrols when required, and even lead them themselves if they are experienced enough.

    • Be vigilant for sickness: Any sickness within the clan should be reported to the Healer immediately.

  • BLOODCLAN'S BONE SYSTEM

Hello everyone, and welcome to the traditional guide for BloodClan's bone system, including guidelines on dog teeth for reinforced claws and collar decoration, bird talons, cat fangs, and smaller animal bones meant for similar collections. Each bone type is earned through different ways, such as activity, mission rewards, or displays of loyalty and excellency. Before we get into how each bone can be earned, I'd like to answer a few questions you might be having.

Do high positions get a special bone to show their rank?

    -- Not at the moment!

Do I need a certain amount of bones in order to become a high position?

    -- No, you do not!

Can I backwrite my character having bones?

-- It is preferred that you do not, as this is meant as a reward system, however nobody can stop you from doing that if you want.

    How does one earn bones?

-- Each bone type is earned in a specific way, which will be outlined below!

    Can bones be taken away?

-- Yes. Lighter punishments may require your character to give up a certain bone. Bird talons and cat fangs will never be taken, but small animal bones might. Serious punishments may result in the loss of a dog tooth bone.

Does my character require a collar to display the bones?

-- Nope! Bones can be put anywhere, from your nest to your collar. Doesn't matter!

Can my character's bones be stolen?

-- No. Not unless you want to specifically plot that out with another person. But otherwise, without your express permission, your bones cannot be stolen.

I'm already in BloodClan and my character already has bones, can they keep them?

    -- Of course!

If you have anymore questions or concerns, please contact the leader of BloodClan!

    HOW TO EARN BONES

Each bone is earned in a specific way, and are given out by the leader at meetings. Here are all the ways you can earn each bone.

Common Bird Talons: Likely from larger birds, such as ravens, falcons, hawks, or owls. These bones are given out as activity rewards. BloodClanners who are consistently active can earn an assortment of these bones which can be used for collar decoration, reinforcement of claws, or just as an addition to their collection. These talons cannot, and will not, be taken away during punishments.

Medium Sized Animal Bones: These fangs are from medium sized animals, such as opossums, raccoons, and rats. They can be used to decorate your character's collar, or to reinforce their claws. These bones are given out as rewards for completing tasks, such as weekly tasks, or specific missions handed out by the leader. These bones can be taken away as punishment for minor crimes.

Dog Teeth: These fangs are from medium to large in size dogs, and are either taken from killed dogs, or scavenged from dogs already found dead. These teeth can be used to decorate a character's collar, or to reinforce their claws. Dog teeth are given out as rewards for shows of excellency, or loyalty, such as performing particularly well in a raid, or for being active for a significant amount of time. These bones will only be taken away as punishment for the most severe of crimes, such as assaulting a clan-mate without reason.

Cat Fangs: These teeth are taken from killed cats that cannot be NPCs. Unlike the other bones, these are not given out in meetings. Rather, if your character kills another player's character (NOT AN NPC), they then have the right to take a single fang from their fallen foe as a trophy for their collection. These bones cannot be taken away as punishment for any crime.

    EAGLESTAR & NATHANOS

darkclan leader x ex bloodclan leader

the story as written by zya — ✧

This litter was formed from pure, unexpected love.

When Nathanos first joined DarkClan after leaving BloodClan behind, he was intent on plotting his revenge. Upon Eaglestar letting him in, he decided to wrap her around his paw, gain her trust and manipulate her. However, he unintentionally began to fall for her, and little did he know, Eaglestar was starting to fall for him, too. Both of them had gone through previous heartbreaks, and were afraid to express their feelings for one another. But when a bear attack left Nathanos nearly dead, he called out to Eaglestar, telling her that he loved her in case he didn’t survive. Having rushed to his side to help, Eaglestar overheard him, and responded that she loved him too.

To Eaglestar’s surprise, Nathanos heard her before he blacked out. During his recovery, he confronted her, to which she confessed that she meant what she said, and vice versa. Eaglestar was terrified of being hurt again, and yet, so was he, and they ultimately found comfort in each other, becoming mates. Shortly after Eaglestar named her deputy and changed her new mate’s name to Tigerflame, she found out she was pregnant. Despite being afraid, as this was her first litter, she took comfort in the fact that both her and Tigerflame would love their children unconditionally, and they would grow up having a wonderful family.

the continuation of the story as written by sheo — ✧

But things didn't work out like they did in the fairy tales. Seeking to protect his family, Tigerflame, along with the deputy, Hawkmask, led the attacking bear into ShadowClan territory, where it killed six innocent cats. Tigerflame later admitted to the crime, and was severely punished, but it wasn't until he was confronted by Briarheart that things took a devastating turn. Struck by a burning rage at Briarheart's discovery of his former BloodClan collar, Tigerflame lashed out at her, before fleeing camp. He was later exiled, much to the grief of his mate and kits.

Tigerflame returned to the life of Nathanos, changing his name back as he made his way back toward BloodClan, killing a ThunderClanner on the way as an offering for the BloodClan leader, Creature. This resulted in some minor tension between DarkClan and ThunderClan, and DarkClan believed it to be some cruel attempt by Nathanos to implicate DarkClan in a harsh crime. Nathanos quickly rose through the ranks of BloodClan, and became leader, where he made changes in an attempt to restore some good in the group. Ultimately, he lost his leg saving a SkyClanner from a monster upon the thunderpath, and was forced to leave BloodClan behind once more.

Nathanos found himself in ShadowClan, where he proved his loyalty and was given the name Bramblelight, but unfortunately, he was slowly dying from an unknown illness. The illness eventually took Bramblelight's life on one peaceful, starry night, and having done everything he could to restore BloodClan to good, to protect his ShadowClan clan-mates, and to redeem himself, Bramblelight was allowed into StarClan, where he now resides.

    riverclan

Born in RiverClan the grandson of Sheogorath (the first BloodClan leader and the killer of many), Tigerkit immediately faced dislike from his clan-mates. His troublemaker personality didn't help, and he often picked fights with his fellow kittens in the nursery, often times forgetting that the use of claws was strictly forbidden. Tigerkit was manipulated into believing he was the reincarnation of Sheogorath at a young age by the Dark Forest, often suffering terrible nightmares in which he was placed in the bloody paws of his former self. One day, the medicine cat Rootlegs, had a vision, and supposedly confirmed that Tigerkit was Sheogorath's reincarnation, informing the entire clan that the former BloodClan leader was among them. Weeks passed, and as Tigerkit reached his fifth moon, he was attacked by a BloodClan kit named Chucky, the son of Sheogorath and Luna. Tigerkit fought off Chucky, and was determined to kill the other kit to prove himself to his clan, but before he could manage it, the fight was interrupted by RiverClanners. Chucky escaped back to BloodClan, leaving Tigerkit with his first scar, a notched ear.

Despite his trouble-making personality and his very (supposed) existence as Sheogorath's reincarnation, Tigerkit became an apprentice at the same time as any kitten. At six moons. He was given Tempestwing as a mentor, and the two paired well, training together and working together with generally friendly reactions towards one another. One day, Tempestwing was stolen away by BloodClan. Tigerpaw ran to BloodClan in an effort to retrieve her himself, desperate to save his mentor. He fought Caledon, the BloodClan leader at the time, and was quickly chased off. Feeling like a failure, Tigerpaw reported the loss to the clan. Just a few days afterward, he was hunting alone when he was mauled by a badger, losing half of his face. Tempestwing eventually returned to the clan, horrified by Tigerpaw's injuries.

Eventually, Nightstar made Tigerpaw a warrior, giving him the name of Tigersparks, but shortly after becoming a warrior, the young tom left RiverClan, feeling that he did not belong there.

    shadowclan

Devastated, he eventually found his way to ShadowClan, where he was allowed entry by Sorrelstar and Owlflight, the two highest ranking members of the clan at the time. Tigersparks immediately made friends with Hornetsting, the son of Caledon, and Owlflight, a former BloodClanner that Sheogorath had once both trained and tortured.

Shortly after joining ShadowClan, Tigersparks was back to his trouble-making self. He attempted to steal herbs from BloodClan in the midst of winter, to help insure the survival of his own clan, but was caught in the act, and attacked by Wildseas and a few other BloodClanners. Fleeing the scene wounded, Tigersparks admitted his crime to ShadowClan, and was punished harshly, guarded day and night. Ruth, the new BloodClan leader, paid ShadowClan an angry visit with a patrol, to inform Sorrelstar of Tigersparks' actions, but since the ShadowClan leader had already been made aware by Tigersparks himself, the situation simply turned out to be a tense interaction. In the middle of the night, after the BloodClan patrol had left, a pair of BloodClanners, Jailbird and Wakefield, attacked the ShadowClan camp, destroying herbs and capturing a few cats.

A few moons passed without trouble involving Tigersparks himself, but DarkClan continued to steal prey, and BloodClan, despite a tentative truce having been decided between them, continued to kidnap ShadowClan cats against the wishes of Ruth. Tigersparks, angry that Sorrelstar was doing nothing to stop these acts, called her out in front of everyone, demanding she act, and calling her weak. His ambition boiled over, as he determined himself to be a better leader, and began to plot out the death of Sorrelstar in order to save ShadowClan from the leader he considered pitiful. However, when the chance to kill her arose, after Sorrelstar became trapped in a dangerous fox trap, Tigersparks realized that he was becoming like Sheogorath ,his former self, and quickly swore to change his personality. Instead of killing Sorrelstar, he saved her life, freeing her from the trap.

Shortly after, more chaos erupted, when Ravenwatcher accidentally kills Chucky, who had been trespassing on ShadowClan territory. The mother, Luna, was infuriated, and returned to BloodClan to rally a force. Around the same time, Owlflight, the ShadowClan deputy, murdered Pitchstar, the leader of DarkClan, taking all nine lives, and leaving the already weakened clan in ruins. Now struggling upon the edge of distrust for their deputy, ShadowClan had to prepare for war against both BloodClan and DarkClan. The only happy thing that happened during this time is the selection of a new medicine cat apprentice, Summerkit, of whom Tigersparks had occasionally interacted with. He was happy for her, but his happiness was quickly overshadowed by the thought of the war that was upon their doorstep. One thing was for sure. ShadowClan needed all the medics it could get.

The war eventually came and went, with Tigersparks taking a life from Ruth, and Sorrelstar losing a life as well. But despite the battle having raged and past, Sorrelstar still didn't promote Tigersparks back to warrior, and Tigersparks began to feel hatred and anger toward his clan for what he perceived as mistrust and mistreatment. Angry, he left ShadowClan, and traveled to BloodClan.

    bloodclan

Tigersparks started as an inferior, essentially a slave to the higher ranking members of BloodClan. For a time, he struggled upon the line of good and evil, suffering from a miserable depression. One day, a dark forest spirit named Rathunas began to haunt and terrorize him, reminding him of his past as Sheogorath, the BloodClan leader he was reincarnated from. Nightmares taunted Tigersparks. One day, there was a group of kittypets raiding the blood house. In an uncontrolled fit of savage rage, Tigersparks kills two of the attackers. Shortly afterwards, he accepts his fate as Sheogorath reincarnated, and changes his name to Nathanos. The words of his aunt, Artemis, rang in his ears, prompting him to be even better than he had been before. Determining himself a god-like being with a sinful purpose, Nathanos pushes on, eager to rise through the ranks.

He eventually comes across a fellow BloodClanner named Keaton, who is struggling with his past memories. Seeking to remake the white tom into something new, Nathanos attacks Keaton, and tortures him, causing damage to his victim's frontal lobe. The result was a total personality change. Keaton had been broken down and reborn upon Nathanos' cruel forge. Not long afterward, Nathanos took his blooad oath to become a full member of BloodClan. Then, a week later, Wildseas, after choosing Bune as his deputy, stepped down, leaving Bune to leave. With his growing crush on Keaton developing, Nathanos is promoted to the Healer rank, while Keaton becomes Healer Apprentice next to Viperpaw. Over time, Nathanos' bond increases with Keaton, however after meeting a SkyClanner named Whitenose, Nathanos also develops a crush on him. Whitenose agrees to join Nathanos in BloodClan after saying his goodbyes to his family in SkyClan. Shortly afterward, Nathanos and Keaton come across a litter of kittens whose parents were killed by dogs. The healer and his apprentice agree to adopt the kits.

Not long after, Nathanos asks Keaton to become his mate, and shortly after that, Bune promotes Nathanos as the new deputy of BloodClan, as well as declaring RiverClan an enemy that should be considered free game. Nathanos slips deeper into an ambitious madness as he attacks a RiverClanner, and then kills a rogue for enraging him during a fight. This causes most of the clan to see him as evil, which one might expect to be acceptable in BloodClan, but is looked down by the majority of members that claim to be 'good', and have overrun the clan, shunning the evil of the group. Cats began to turn their clan-mates against Nathanos, and he grows doubtful and paranoid. Eventually, Keaton is captured by twolegs, leaving Nathanos behind. Shortly afterward, understanding that BloodClan had become a weak and pathetic place in his mind, the deputy leaves for DarkClan.

    darkclan

Feeling as if he was essentially forced out of BloodClan for being evil in a clan where evil was meant to be seen as a good thing instead of something horrible, Nathanos finds himself growing angry and spiteful, damning BloodClan and it's members. He curses their name and plots revenge, to purge BloodClan of the weak that make up it's ranks. Meanwhile, the former BloodClan deputy begins to settle into DarkClan. Time begins to pass, and oddly enough, Nathanos finds himself growing attached to his new clan, his allies, and most of all, Eaglestar, the DarkClan leader. Despite his newfound feelings (which he desperately tries to push away and deny), he still feels the desire to kill and maim the innocent, and the more time that passes, the more he struggles to hold back from lashing out at one of his new clan-mates. He quickly determines that he needs to find something elsewhere to kill, be it some unfortunate rogue or a member from a neighboring clan. The problem with that was that he knew he might be suspected, given his link to BloodClan, even if nobody in DarkClan knew the extent of his evils. Nathanos decides to wait until he gains the trust of his new allies before doing anything dangerous.

One day, a bear and her cubs drift onto the territory. A kit named Fawnkit, Eaglestar's adopted child, sneaks out of camp and is attacked by the bear. Nathanos attacks the bear to save Fawnkit, but is badly hurt. A week later, he is hunting when the bear attacks again. This time, he was almost killed, and seriously injured. Believing himself close to death, Nathanos admits his feelings for Eaglestar, and Eaglestar admits to sharing those feelings. During his recovery, Nathanos confronts Eaglestar, and they become mates. At a later date, after several injuries, including a loss of one of Eaglestar's lives, Nathanos lures the mother bear into ShadowClan by killing one of her cubs and dragging it onto their land. Hawkmask assists by distracting the bear. Afterwards, he is attacked by a BloodClanner, and his adopted daughter, Fawnkit, is frightened by another. Eaglestar and Nathanos travel to BloodClan to demand justice. Shortly afterward, Nathanos receives a dream where he is contacted by Sheogorath, who explains that everything about him being his reincarnation was an elaborate hoax, a smart manipulation tactic. Nathanos wasn't Sheogorath's reincarnation after all.

Eaglestar soon names Nathanos Tigerflame, and deems him a senior warrior of DarkClan, unaware of his crime of leading the bear into ShadowCLan territory, resuling in several innocent lives loss. Tigerflame holds that guilt close to himself as Eaglestar shows signs of pregnancy, and soon, has his kits. Time passes, peaceful without the bear in DarkClan territory, but as the days go by, Tigerflame feels the weight of his guilt increase until it grows to be unbearable. He admits his crime to the clan.

  • NATHANOS - BLOODCLAN DEPUTY - TAGS AND INFORMATION

Coughing. He hadn't gotten used to it yet, the pain in his chest, the gasping for breath in between violent spasms. Even after Owlgaze's treatment, the brute still lingered upon the precipice of consciousness, unable to drift into a peaceful slumber. Being in a nest within the confining warmth of the medicine den was a welcome change to the temperature in the main cavern outside, but nevertheless, Tigerflame tossed and turned, dragging his claws against the cold stone as if the force of his gestures would ease the suffering he had been made to endure. Finally, after hours had passed of fitful movement, the warrior uttered a heaving sigh, and forced himself to his paws. It was late, dark, nothing but a sliver of moonlight to illuminate the outside of the den, seeping into the stone tunnel like the sickness that crawled through his veins.

Tigerflame hovered for a moment, standing away from his nest, exposed to the lashing cold that gripped the bitter atmosphere. A shiver seized his frame, and another cough, just as painful as all the last. That was when he heard it, the sound of...something unidentifiable within the clearing, outside of the den, the noise of paw-steps, and a strange object dragging against the stone ground. Who else would be awake so late in the frigid evening? The warrior wasn't certain, but unrest and curiosity drove him forth to find out. His earthen hued frame of muscle and tabby fur slithered out into the celestial moonlight that bathed the shadow to pierce dark crevices, one eye of blistering gold scanning the blackness that lingered upon the edges of the shimmering light. That orb of scorching fire narrowed when he deduced the location of the noise, steadily moving toward the camp exit. Though the darkness, the male's piercing gaze spotted Briarheart, and the items she was dragging away.

Icy vines and glacial thorns wrapped around Tigerflame's fast beating heart. There it was, the items he had not quite forgotten about, but had hidden away, determined never to look upon them again. Seeing them brought a surge of brutal memories to the forefront of his twisted mind, and he wondered what the other DarkClanner could possibly intend to do with his formerly prized accessory. Briarheart didn't look very happy, but in the deep shadow that engulfed her frame, it was hard to decipher any sort of emotion, but given her direction, it soon became clear that she was moving toward the exit. Was her purpose to be rid of the items, then? Something sparked within the dark soul of the former BloodClan deputy at the thought. He should just let them go, let her take it all away, his past, his memories, his final ties to his former home. He should turn around, and try to get some sleep. But instead, he couldn't help but feel a sense of anger swallow his mind.

  • NATHANOS X PEARL PLOT LITTER UFA

Hello everyone, and welcome to my adoptions thread for Nathanos x NPC kittypet. For those that do not know, Nathanos is the current deputy of BloodClan, and his tags can be found below.

    nathanos - trad bloodclan

Nathanos is a cruel and wicked creature, so you might be asking how this even happened. Well, let us dive deep into the story.

Moons ago, during Nathanos' first time in BloodClan, beneath Bune, he had become an infamous deputy. Distrust ran rampant through the clan. Back then, BloodClan was softer than it is now, and many cats were disgusted by the fact that a harsh murderer had been appointed by Bune as their deputy. Nathanos was paranoid, and suspected one cat in particular, Sabotage, of trying to turn the clan against him. He felt enraged that he did not have Bune's support, but instead believed that he held the leader's distrust. Why, then, should he even be deputy at all, and risk an outbreak of civil war the moment he ascended to the throne? In the midst of all that, Keaton, now known as Diesel, and at the time, Nathanos' mate, had disappeared, and the devil believed the albino dead and gone forever.

In an episode of wild mania, Nathanos met a loner, a she-cat by the name of Pearl. He was enamored by her snow white coat of long fur, and bright blue eyes. That was the night of his one-night stand. Afterward, the two met off and on, with Nathanos telling all of his woes to Pearl, explaining the troubles he was facing in BloodClan. In a sense, they were dating. One day, however, Pearl approached Nathanos and explained that she was not a loner, but that she was actually a house cat. Worst of all, she was pregnant with his kits. Nathanos felt tricked and betrayed, and also quite foolish. He should have known better, the luxurious style of her coat had been a dead giveaway that she was living the life of a kittypet. Furthermore, he did not want kittens, however, he didn't want his children growing up as weak house cats. The mother, however, stated that she would not hand the children over, that she would raise them as kittypets, that they would never join BloodClan under her careful watch, and that the relationship, though brief as it was, was now over.

That had been the final straw. Nathanos abandoned BloodClan and all his troubles, and traveled to DarkClan, where he met a new mate, Eaglestar. Moons afterward, however, he was exiled from DarkClan. He returned to BloodClan to find it in a better place than it had been before, under the newfound leadership of a cat named Creature, his aunt. Cats distrusted him, and some still disliked him for his murderous habits, but Nathanos finally felt like he belonged. There was no paranoia, no threat of revolution. Moons passed, and Creature elected Nathanos as her deputy. He had been given a second chance.

Not long after that, and Nathanos had been hunting through a particularly wealthy looking neighborhood when he spotted a cat that looked strikingly like Pearl. He realized within moments that it was indeed her, and stalked her back to her home. It was there, looking through the window of the expensive twoleg nest, that he saw them, five young kittens, about five months in age. His children. Nathanos waited, watched as Pearl licked them, and played with them, until finally she exited the house again. Nathanos lured her into the shade between her house, and the neighbors, and approached. He asked if the kittens he had seen were his, and Pearl confirmed that indeed, they were. She then informed him that he needed to leave, and that she would not allow him to see them.

In another manic fit, Nathanos pinned Pearl to the ground, and sank his fangs into her throat. She choked to death on her own blood. Wiping his jaws clean of his former passion's crimson fluids, Nathanos found a way to enter the home through a doggy door in the back yard. The kittens were terrified at first, but he informed them that he was their father. He told them that he had come to visit them, but that on his way here, he had seen a dog attack Pearl. There had been nothing he could do. Nathanos lied and told the kits that their mother's dying wish had been for him to take them all to BloodClan, to be raised by only the fiercest of members, where they would grow to be strong and powerful. It took some convincing, but Nathanos managed it.

That is where the story of the kits really begins. There will be no birthing thread, but instead a thread where Nathanos leads his children into BloodClan's camp.

Keep in mind that Nathanos has a cold heart, and he will give these kits the cold shoulder, so it is essentially up to them to raise themselves. He will offer them training if they ask, but won't really act like a father. It'll be tough love for sure.

    1. There are five slots for five kits.

    2. They are five moons old, and will join BloodClan as kits.

    3. They must remain in BloodClan for at least a month before leaving.

    4. Inactive kits will be re-homed.

    5. Kittens are generation five and connected to a huge family tree.

    6. I don't care about genetics.

For those of you that want to know the genetics of the parents, Nathanos is a dark brown mackerel tabby with amber eyes and no white, however white runs in the family. The mother was all white with blue eyes. Both are long furred. Nathanos is a chausie + maine coon + norwegian forest cat mix, and Pearl was a maine coon pure bred.

There is no form to apply for this litter, the form is entirely free-form, meaning you can use any tag template you want. This litter is not first come first serve, but the choosing date is not currently decided.

    Have fun!

    ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ ─────────────────────────────────────────── ・ 。゚☆

Cold and harsh, like the glaciers of the North, Nathanos is a vicious tom that hides his emotions behind steel and ice. Though he aches for his past, and regrets his failure to better his life, this tom is known to be wicked and cruel, willing to murder to get his way without a second thought. In truth, he does have second thoughts, but the brute often disregards them. Indeed, regret and guilt are both powerful motivations within Nathanos’ mind, but he shoves them to the back, and forces savagery forward. Unwilling to appear weak to his comrades, this tom chooses to avoid emotion at all cost, even going so far as the shun family, despite his inner urge to love and protect them. Within this devil’s mind is a warzone between good and evil, a battle he fights eternally, struggling between the concept of right and wrong. Choosing blindness toward his evildoing over acceptance, Nathanos will fight anyone that threatens him with ruthless ferocity. He acts cheerful for the most part, ignoring the deep rooted pain that serves as a constant reminder of his failures. Indeed, his chipper, care-free nature is little more than a forced act, but one he has become so accustomed to, that it is easy to maintain, and sometimes even forgotten. While a part of Nathanos will always yearn to right his wrongs and correct his mistakes, his former failings prevent him from embracing this idea. When he isn’t mauling his enemies, he is often attempting to make friends and allies within his own clan. Nathanos is known for his ability to manipulate, as well as his unusual friendliness toward allies. While most of his cheerful behavior is merely an act, there are rare occasions in which he enjoys the presence of others. Nathanos embraces chaos because it serves as a suitable distraction from his persistent and haunting memories. He will kill for the fun of it, simply to have something else to think about, although his enjoyment of such vicious acts is almost forced, it has become so commonplace within his mind that the brute has accepted it as natural.

  • HISTORY

    RIVERCLAN ─────────────────────────────────────────────── ・ 。゚☆

    SHADOWCLAN ─────────────────────────────────────────────・ 。゚☆

    BLOODCLAN ─────────────────────────────────────────────── ・ 。゚☆

    DARKCLAN ─────────────────────────────────────────────── ・ 。゚☆

Eaglestar punishes him alongside Hawkmask by demoting them both, along with a few more generic punishment. Tigerflame is left to sleep out in the cold outside of the warrior's den. As a result, he catches whitecough. During his recovery, he discovers Briarheart had found where he had hidden his rainbow collar, a reminder of his time in BloodClan that he had stowed away behind a loose rock in the camp. Angry and possessive of the item, Tigerflame attacks her. As a result, his mate, Eaglestar, exiles him. By chance, Nathanos meets Caledon on DarkClan territory, who offers Nathanos a chance to join BloodClan again. Hesitant, but with nowhere else to go, the brute agrees, and kills a ThunderClanner on the way to BloodClan to impress the new leader, his aunt, Creature.

    BLOODCLAN ─────────────────────────────────────────────── ・ 。゚☆

Creature, impressed by Nathanos' gift, though wary of his loyalty, agreed to allow Nathanos back into BloodClan. Most of the members, particularily both his old and new family, were unwelcoming, and had no desire to have Nathanos welcomed back into their clan. Nevertheless, he began working his way back up the ladder, making the occasional friend along the way. He got his blood oath, this time, across his throat, as a promise of his loyalty and a show of his determination. Nathanos eventually learned to let go of his anger to live a more enjoyable life, putting the opinions of others behind him. As time passed and the weeks went by, people began to trust Nathanos once more, given the hard work and effort he put into the clan during near constant hunting and border patrols. He fed and protected his clan-mates without hesitation, and worked hard to involve himself in clan events.

One day, a colony of bats settled within the attic of the church BloodClan called home. Nathanos caught these bats, as did many others, utilizing them as a food source. Everything seemed to be working out fine for the clan. Recently, Creature, their leader, had bargained for land from SkyClan to help sustain the group during the winter months. The bats were like a gift from nature itself. Not long afterward, a trio of RiverClanners came to BloodClan to cause trouble by spreading trash across their border. One of the RiverClanners, an apprentice named Asterpaw, trespassed, and Nathanos snatched him right up, dragging him to a warehouse. In addition to that, Nathanos had begun struggling with a harsh desire to drink blood, and while he has kept his newfound habit hidden so far, things were becoming riskier by the day. Meanwhile, cats have been starting to get sick and feverish. One night, one of these sick cats, maddened by paranoia, attacks Nathanos, and he kills her in self defense. Not long later, Nathanos is announced by Creature as the new deputy of BloodClan.

    THUNDERCLAN ──────────────────────────────────────・ 。゚☆

Batfrost was born in ThunderClan, when an age of strife was thrust upon the lives of his clan-mates. Sheogorath, the infamous prince of BloodClan, and Caledon, the king of the vicious rogues, had captured the pregnant Lambstar, and was forcing ThunderClan to do battle with RiverClan.

Batkit grew used to seeing his parents injured from the battles that waged because of BloodClan, and tensions continued to rise as the moons began to pass.

Batfrost was a mere apprentice when Sheogorath set fire to ThunderClan, burning it to ash. Batpaw's parents died in that fire, and he has never stopped blaming BloodClan for their deaths. On that day, Batpaw made a vow to better the world, and stop evil at all costs, even if it meant sacrificing his own life.

He threw himself into a life of training, agility, strength, speed, intellect, willpower. He focused entirely upon growing stronger and more skilled, beating out most of the other apprentices with ease. He was known to be stubborn and harsh, cold-hearted in a way.

Eventually, under Blackstar, Batfrost made it to warrior, but he struggled to remain within the clan, the desire to head out and punish BloodClan for their crimes at the forefront of his mind. Hating the idea of being tied down by rules and alliances, Batfrost left ThunderClan behind in the hopes of putting his training to good use.

    He became a vigilante rogue.

  • UNIQUE TRAINING SYSTEM

    INTRODUCTION ──────────────────────────────────────・ 。゚☆

So you're looking at Batfrost for mentor-ship, or you were assigned to him? Good for you! By the time he's finished, you'll be one hell of a warrior. But it won't be easy. Here are a few things you should know about being trained by Batfrost.

    • Batfrost is strict. He will often spend most of the earlier training days drilling discipline into his apprentice, and he expects the utmost respect. Disobeying Batfrost is a sure way to make your live a living hell.

    • Training methods may be considered exceedingly harsh, and even cruel, but in the end, you will have mastered something beyond that of the other apprentices.

    • According to Bats, all your focus must be on training, and mastering whatever skill you're tasked with learning. Distractions will not be tolerated.

    • It is expected by Batfrost that you take training into your own hands at times. Whenever you're not out with your mentor, you'd best be practicing. Sitting around the camp conversing with friends is a good way to earn a lecture.

    • Batfrost hates complaining. It's a good way to loose your dinner for the evening.

    • He hates liars.

    THE TRIALS ───────────────────────────────────────── ・ 。゚☆

Here is an outline, not in order, of what apprentices must complete in order to graduate from Batfrost's tutelage. After completing each section and the final exam, Batfrost will submit an apprentice to the leader to become a warrior. Batfrost often prides himself in creating some of the most well trained warriors in a clan, and so his training is rigorous.

    Discipline

First on the list is discipline. In this section of training, apprentices are taught respect, and that they should mind authority. The elderly are to be respected as well as the young, and loyalty should never be in question unless it directly violates ones moral standards. Recruits are taught to follow even the most absurd orders for the sake of learning discipline. By the end of this course, when Batfrost says "jump", you can bet his apprentices will jump. "Never ask why" is the motto of this course! Apprentices will be tutored on how to care for those in need, such as replacing the bedding of queens and elders. A few exercises will be added during this course that will increase the discipline, patience, accuracy, and strength of the apprentice over time. The apprentice is expected to continue these exercises throughout his or her entire training period. Apprentices will also learn how to meditate during this course. Apprentices may not progress until they have earned Batfrost's satisfaction, and have been able to meditate without interruption for at least one hour. This is a long course that takes place throughout the rest of the training.

    Basic Hunting

The apprentice is taught basic hunting skills that they may practice and use in life. These skills will be built upon later. This is a short course.

    Basic Combat

This course is quite simple in that it only teaches very basic combat moves that will be built on in the future. This is a short course.

    Strength.

In this course, apprentices are taught a few strength building exercises that were not covered earlier. They are taught how to use strength in battle using 'power shots', and other heavy hitting attacks. This is a short course.

    Agility.

Apprentices are taught a few speed and agility increasing exercises. They are also taught how to use said attributes in battle to get the advantage over stronger opponents. There is an agility course in this section. This is a short course.

    Endurance.

More exercises are given to the apprentice in order to increase their endurance and stamina. These exercises will be used throughout training just like former exercises. This is a short course.

    Accuracy.

This course is a bit more advanced. Apprentices will be given exercises to increase their precision to ensure they grant their opponents maximum damage. They will be taught the presence of pressure points in which to cause the most pain possible. This course is a bit like a final exam to the last classes. Apprentices will need to tie in their strength, speed, agility, and especially their discipline, to ensure they excel in this course. This is a long course.

    Acrobatics.

Moving on to more advanced tactics, apprentices will be taught to excel in acrobatics, to ensure they can make that next leap with confidence! Apprentices will learn how to navigate trees with ease in this course. This is a medium course.

    Swimming.

No, Batfrost doesn't expect you to be a RiverClanner, but apprentices should have some grasp on how to 'not' drown. Apprentices will also be taught how to fight in the water, and fish when necessary. This is a medium course.

    Tactics Review.

This is a short review of the past courses in which the apprentice describes what he or she should do against certain opponents. Some leadership skills are taught in this course. Apprentices are taught how to use the environment to their advantage while in 'stealth mode.' This is a short class.

    Stealth.

In this course, apprentices should have practiced their hunting enough that they already have a decent grasp of silence. They will earn a few advanced sneaking techniques such as camouflage. Apprentices will learn various ambush methods from land, water, and up in the trees. This is a long course.

    Advanced Combat.

Finally, you made it this far! In this course, apprentices will learn how to fight with true pride, blindsiding opponents with sheer skill! Apprentices are taught how to use the environment to their advantage in combat. This is a long course.

    Survival.

Considering this a test, apprentices will be lead to a secluded location and expected to survive on their own for three days. Batfrost will be watching from afar.

    Courage.

This unique test of courage is when Batfrost leads his apprentice to a deep cave on the edge of the marsh. The cave is pitch black inside, yet moist and covered in moss. A few deep pools should be avoided while in the cave. Apprentices are expected to spend the entire day meditating inside with no light, food, or association whatsoever. When the sun goes down, they must exit the cave and tell Batfrost of their experience.

    Final Exam.

Like the survivability test, apprentices will not be permitted in camp for the duration of this event. For the next three days they will be hunted by a vicious enemy that is none other than Batfrost himself. Now they must use all their skills in an effort to show they have what it takes, whether it be taking Batfrost head on, managing to elude him for all three days, or managing to successfully ambush him. Those that pass this test will become warriors.

  • WHAT A WICKED GAME TO PLAY
