  • "Will you give me your heart?"

It as been two hundred years since her pearl as been taken from her, ever since she has only grown weaker. Day by day she was losing strength, most of her powers she remained intact but she was fading and fast. Her once immortal life had dwindled into a mere three months. She hated how weak she had become, and it wss all her fault. If only she hadn't been so stupid then she wouldn't even be in this situation. She had escaped to the ocean when she had pearl taken from her all those years ago. She wasn't sure what had drawn her to the surface this time, but didn't regret it that was for sure. The family who had been loyal for years told her that they had found the location of her pearl.

The mermaid had just arrived at the island where supposedly her pearl was located. She looked down at the note in her hand giving the name and address of the people who had her pearl. Now the game begins.

  • A groan rang out through her sparsely decorated bedroom, the noise of a small alarm following afterward. With a quick movement she had sat up and stretched, thankful for the little nap that she had snuck in. The alarm meant that it was time for her mother's medicine to be administered. By her of course. She didn't mind taking care of her mother at all really, she got to stay in her childhood home and spend time with her family member after all. She just wished that she could have a couple more minutes of rest. Not that she would ever tell her mother that of course.

Having to move back was a bit of a blessing to her, paying off student loans and keeping up with the rent from her apartment had taken it out of her. She left her musings for now however, getting out of bed with a small sigh. Now where did she leave that medicine bottle?

When Ying Yue came back onto land after all those many years of hiding in her home under the waves. She had been at first confused about the changes the world had gone through in her absence. She had just floated above he surface gently swaying her black and golden scaled tail back and forth to keep her body up right. Her brown eyes trained on the cars that zipped back in almost a blurr. 'I guess things really have changed' She couldn't help but wonder if her friends were even in this area anymore. She went back under the water formulating a plan to find her loyal companions then start the search for her stolen pearl.

The mermaid borrowed some clothes that the humans were currently using, along with a pair of sandles and made her way into to land. Once she was properly covered up, not wanting to be put in prison before she even started her journey. Ying Yue looked over the tall buildings with a observant gaze. She may have been weak right but some of her powers were still working. She was sure she could locate her friends soon. She hadn't been walki for long when an older gentleman walked up tonher in a fancy looking suit. "Good to see you have returned." The gentleman smiled at the mermaid, and she smiled back. This was going smoother than she had originally thought.

She now stood on an older wooden docks dressed in a pair of shorts and thin t-shirt. 'This is where they chose to stay?' Her mind asked in an irriated manner. It was a small town located on a quaint little island. The dark haired mermaid looked down at the piece of paper in her hands. "The Relence family, okay." The name sounded familiar to Ying Yue, some of her memories had faded slightly in the two hundred years she was gone but she was sure they would eventually come to her.

Shoving the paper into the back pocket of her shorts she made her way into the town to locate where this house was.

  • If there was only one thing that Clarice Relence didn't like about being in her childhood home again, it was the slow coffee maker. She clicked her tongue as the machine made various noises before finally releasing the inky black nectar of 'wake up fuel' into the pot under it. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes with a small sigh, checking over the little breakfast tray that she had cobbled together.

It wasn't special, just a pancake and some eggs, and now a cup of coffee. It wasn't much but her mother was never too hungry after her morning medicine anyway. With all the items assembled on the tray, as well as a sizeable dose of medicine, the young woman quickly walked to her mother's bedroom. A small smile found it's way onto her face as she found her mother still asleep peacefully. She set the tray on the nightstand and reached over to shake the older woman awake, before pulling her hand back.

"A few more minutes won't hurt..." She whispered before planting a kiss on her mother's forehead. With that done, Clarice quietly left the room and flopped onto the couch in the house's living room with a relaxed sigh. "Alright T.V. it's just you and me."

Finding the house in tiny little town was the easy part of his adventure for Ying Yue it was he part having to figure out how she was going to get into the house in the first place. She knew that there were currently two people living in the house. She had yet to learn their names, and frankly she didn't care. There was a chance that her pearl was no longer in the house, and even if her pearl was no longer there they had clues as tonwhere it went. Ying Yue settled a plan in her mind and confidently strode up to the front door of the house and wronf the door bell.

    ((Sorry for the short one))

  • Spending some quality time with the T.V. was one of Clarice's favorite activities, even if she spent most of that time finding something good to watch. Hee channell flipping was cut short by the doorbell ringing throughout the house. A small sigh escaped her abd she quickly did a quick check to make sure that she was presentable. Once she was satisfied she opened tge front door, her brow arching up in surprise and curiosity as she looked over the woman in front of her. "Hello?"

    ((No problem!))
