Andrew sat beside Heather on the couch and handed her some water. He was really protective of her now, not letting her out of his sight. He hated that he didn’t just go with her that day. Instead he had to be selfish and sleep. “Maybe later I’ll give you a massage. Sound good?” He asked.

Heather weakly shook her head. Everything felt sore still, nothing had healed yet. She took a shaky sip of her water before just setting it down and curling into Andrew's hold with her eyes closed, trying to shut out the pain and the memories.
-
Andrew held her close. “You’re safe with me.” He whispered and kissed her cheek. He ran a hand through her hair and tried to get her to relax.
-
Heather just stayed curled up in Andrew's hold, shaking. She eventually fell asleep, only slightly relaxed by Andrew's hand in her hair.
-
Andrew stayed there for a bit before picking her up and carrying her to her bed. He told Flamer to stay in there with her to watch her. Andrew needed to get something to eat.
-
Heather stays out cold, she hadn't slept the entire time she was in the hands of the human for fear of not being able to wake back up. Flamer curls up on her neck, growling at anything that came close.
-
Andrew came back a fee hours later. It was difficult for him to find something to catch. Maybe he just wasn’t good at this kind of stuff. He ate what he needed and then went to check on Heather and Flamer.
-
Heather was still asleep, though she was obviously trapped in a sort of nightmare.
Flamer kept licking at her face and whining to wake her up, when he noticed Andrew he hopped over to him and nudged him towards Heather, then he hopped back on the bed and tried to wake her again. He was asking for help waking her up.
-
Andrew went over and nudged her. “Heather? Wake up, babe.” He said. “You’re just dreaming.”
-
It takes a few nudges and words to wake her, but heather wakes with a start.
She sits bolt-straight and looks to Andrew. "I-I'm sorry..."
-
Andrew hugged her. “Don’t be sorry.” He said. “I got you some food if you’re hungry.”
-
Heather melts into his hug, only looking up at the offer of food. "Thank you." After drinking the meal dry, she snuggles back into Andrew.
-
Andrew smiled and held her close. “Have you ever thought about starting a family?” He asked. “Like, do you want to get married and have kids and everything?”
-
That was a random and straight up question! Heather thought a moment, then nodded. "That'd be nice. If you wanted to."
-
Andrew shrugged. “I mean, not anytime soon, but I always wanted to have a family. I was curious if you ever thought about it.”
-
"Okay. You let me know when." Then she kisses Andrew again, closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around him, one hand coming up to rest right behind his head.
-
Andrew smiled and kissed her. “You’re so pretty.” He said. “I missed you a lot while I was gone.”
-
"I missed you too."
-
Andrew kissed her again and pulled her closer to him. “I’m glad I met you.” he said.
-
"I am too." Heather holds the kiss and closes her eyes again.
