  • Dark storms for eyes, stared at an ebony sky. There were small white sprinkles on the blanket above him, twinkling in the darkness. He wasn’t sure what to say about the beauty other than it was just that- beautiful. It was breathtaking and stunning and just all around amazing. He was right by the entrance of camp, wanting to be able to include who ever wanted to talk about the beauty of tonight.

  • ToUQPFN.gif Back when Breezepaw was a kittypet, she would go days without seeing the night sky. But being in Skyclan meant living under the night sky. So she was able to enjoy what it brought everyday. From clear skies, clouds, storms, and brilliant night stars. The apprentice had just gotten back from a dusk patrol when she saw Hurricanepaw staring straight up. Wondering what they were looking at, the feline copied their actions. Her blue eyes shined off the star light. It was beautiful out tonight and she wondered if Rainpuddle had liked to watch the stars as well.

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ After a busy day of duties, Heronswoop had been trying her best to get some sleep, but found herself unable to do so. It was clearly one of those nights when the den was too stuffy to get comfortable. Clambering out, she made her way to the centre of camp, perhaps intending on sleeping outside for tonight. However, she spotted Hurricanepaw and Breezepaw sat outside, staring upwards and wandered over to join them. Settling on the ground beside, she would lift her head to look up at the night sky; funny how this was the same sky, but yet it could look so different from RiverClan.

"It's pretty nice out tonight, isn't it?" She asked her companions.

  • The stars were always pretty. A long time ago, when Airpaw was just a little tyke sneaking from the nursery for the first time, he remembered looking up to the glimmering night sky and wondering how all of them got there. It certainly wasn't a matter of who was dead and who wasn't, no, StarClan was absolutely, definitely not real, so for a matter of fact, the stars had to get there in some other fashion. He had thought and thought and thought about it for moons when he was younger, thinking up theories and thoughts and figures, when his brother had gone and ruined everything. Even looking up at the stars now, free of the menace of his brother, Airpaw couldn't help but get a bad taste in his mouth. For once, the cool kid was quiet, stoic and emotionally hidden but feeling like a hurricane raged within him.

  • He dipped his head in greetings to all of the newcomers, his face filled with overfilling joy. What was it about the air tonight? Perhaps it was the cool breeze, or maybe how tonight the trees were making a joyous sound in that mentioned breeze. He couldn’t exactly figure it out but maybe the others would know. “It is beautiful, isn’t it?” He said in a dreamlike trance of child wonder. The stars were their own things, perhaps each of the former leaders and each of the past living people. The night was beautiful, the night was clear, it was amazing. How did night patrols ever get anything done?
