    hi y’all! so i was thinking we come up with characters first, and then throw a story together surrounding them? :0 i dont have mine made yet but i was thinking of having one big lesbian human teenager and one human adult- probably a teacher? i might play a funky kid with funky powers instead of the adult but idk if we should have a surplus of powerful kids running around, because i dont want to be the only funky powered kid. either way, ill edit my characters into this post.


    i figured we could use this thread as a beginning plotting / rp thread once we get the basics all settled down, and then move our ooc discussion either to a discord group or a separate plotting thread if that works with everyone?


    (also feel free to use any form, as long as there’s a name and a faceclaim, the rest can be explained ooc for plot planning reasons) :^) look forward to getting this off the ground with y’all!

    Yeah, I'd probably limit the powered kiddos to two maybe? Past that it seems excessive and would make things... a little too easy, it seems like. I'll probably go for a funky powered kid or the teacher. For some reason a lot of my characters are exasperated middle-aged people with degrees who didn't sign up for this lol

    *. — aa, yes i agree, i feel as though there should be a limit on powered kids, and two seems like a good number if some of us will be playing two characters. i would love to play one of the powered kids, if possible, perhaps they’re a little bit older, maybe in their teens, kind of like kali / 8 or the ages of the s3 main kids — since not all the experiments are the same age after all. i’d also sooo be down to play a cop tbh !


    yeah, that’s what i was thinking. that sounds good to me! two sounds like a fair number! i think i’ll just play my gay teen and also probably gay adult; i’ll leave the super powers to the rest of y’all! :^)

    I may be a bit greedy but Ialso want to be a funky power kid, if not i will probably make a teen who is kind of like Max ,and an older teen who is like Steve. I usually make older mom friends away way.

    We should probably max our charas at like... two cool teens, two stressed out adults, two funky kids, and maybe like... three or four normal kiddos? I can play any of the above, so I think I'll just take whatever's left out of that. 'Course, we don't have to fill like... all of that.

    that sounds good rolo! how many people wanna play the cool adults? i might swap my adult for a kid, especially if more people rly wanna play stressed out adults since i’m not rly that dedicated sdkjkaj


    also that sounds good too! we could swap locations if people wanted to, but it might be easier to just throw it in hawkins in the 80’s / in a different time period. idk how important world building is to everyone, so as long as y’all are okay with a little less (though we could always just reinvent hawkins like a lil) world building thats fine with me! :^)

    *. — yeah i’m thinking of playing a stressed out cop, maybe in their mid-late 30s and ofc a power kid, if possible. and yeah, i was thinking we could just set it in hawkins in the 80s bc we’re more familiar w/ that setting, ofc we reinvent a bit of it like castle byers obvs wouldn’t exist but like the school would, y’know?


    I’d be good with playing like a normal kiddo and a cool teen?

    But honestly I’m good with whatever I don’t have any set character ideas yet so I’m totally open to changing that

    I should. Probably make a real list of the roles and who has them hhehwhwhwh I’ll try to do that when I get home (doctors appointment) so we don’t get confused and accidentally end up with 6 teens & 6 adults lmao
