  • Even when he had been in SkyClan before he had moved to RiverClan to be with Heronswoop the white warrior hadn't been fond of BloodClan. He remembered being a child when they took shelter in SkyClan's camp and he had thought they had been pretty cool then- but when he grew up and actually opened his eyes to the shit they had done, the shit they were doing he couldn't help but be angered at them. Not to mention- his disliking for them only grew stronger when he was in RiverClan. He wasn't going to go over why to himself though again, he didn't like this clan but he wasn't here for trouble and he was sure Mothpaw wasn't with him for that either. They needed to mark of the borders and then get out of hear, but from what he heard on border patrols to this place BloodClan always seemed to pool on over to the border which was why Lavenderskies hadn't wanted to lead this. Didn't blame her... He didn't think anyone within the clan wanted to be here.

With a small grunt to himself he pauses a few paw-steps away from the border and glances back at Mothpaw, "Lets just do this as quickly as possible and leave. I don't want to have to engage in much conversation with these guys." He murmurs quietly before her turns to brush himself up against a nearby tree. His bright golden eyes then pierced into the concrete jungle before him... He couldn't believe if his mother had stayed a kittypet not only would he be trapped inside a twoleg den all day but he'd also be living in that hellhole. Amazing. He'd always prefer the trees and the river over such a place, a shiver ran down his spine.

  • A shadow was the first to find the pair. Paws silent across the concrete that covered the city, Nemesis's dark pelt would be hard to see from far aware, save for the silver that decorated some of her extremities. Berylbreeze's alabaster coat, however, blended poorly with the natural painting that was the forest. The cold hearths that found home in her eyes studied them, sizing them up, a curious part of her mind trying to guess exactly how the paths that marked their fates would twist and bend.

Her mind failed to leave this topic as she approached the duo. While both young, she was easily able to pick out which one was older. The smell of the woods clung heavy to their pelts like burrs, coincidentally seeming to share a similar origin. Their purpose was unclear. A little curiosity wouldn't offend karma, would it? "Yes?" A simple word from a youthful mouth, the quiet girl saw no need to say anymore. Yes would get her point across quite well. Both unafraid as well as uninterested, the child's stone face never shifted from its calm composure, studying the two strangers while awaiting a response.

  • Lumbering down the length of a picket fence, a bleached being upon obsidian limbs carried himself across with a fallen angel’s grace. Greeting the earth with a thump that rattled the ground beneath his bony paws. The old tyrant ambled on, towards the edges of the city that embraced the beginnings of the forest that stood as the home of a forest feline his soul called friend. Minnowstar, he owed to her many of lives that fateful night. One that buried itself deep into his brain, with the death and burial of his son. The tragic suicide of his daughter, and the loss of a life beside his fallen brother. So much death was breathed into that day, the scent of Skyclan only made that venom that climbed the veins of his thoughts that much more potent.

Silhouettes shifted along the trees, and the dance of an ivory pelt laid against the darkened hues of bark from the tree he stood by. Rising his countenance to the heavens, the brute approached the pair of overgrowth dwellers with calm glacial hues shifting to each of them carefully. He watched as his grand-niece approached the pair alone, bravely. Such was the result of her bloodline and the valor it wielded. Nemisis spoke simply, and Caledon couldn't hold back the daring smirk as a result of his amusement. "Greetings" his raspy tone slithered from his ruined jaws and he offered a gentle tip of his skull to them both. "I don’t mean to be a bother, but may I ask how Skyclan is fairing? …. And Minnowstar, how is she? " he queried, rolling his barbed tongue against his teeth carefully awaiting an answer. Genuine care flashing across his visage, so many of his kin had taken to Skyclan as a home. His son, his grand-children, and never would he blame them but he feared for them as the change of time had rendered their alliance severed. Caledon hadn’t the power to mend those wounds, he was a legend of history, they were standing in the now.

  • And as he had been warned it didn't take long at all for a BloodClanner to make an appearance, but definitely not one he was expecting. Before him across the border stood a child, a kit, he was taken aback at first before he reminds himself that BloodClan allows such things as allowing kits to run free throughout their territory. Never in a million years would Berylbreeze allow his children to leave camp until they were six moons old, and even then he'd be hesitant on having them leave without a mentor. Rather hypocritical considering as an apprentice he was constantly leaving SkyClan territory and trespassing into other clans territories.

But hey- thats how he met Heronswoop so he got a pass.

He remains quiet for a moment before he finally opens his maw, "Just marking the borders. That's all." The snowy furred male replied back with a small shrug of his shoulders, and thats when another BloodClan cat arrived, Caledon. He had heard of him but the only reason he was able to recognize what he looked like was because he had seen him when BloodClan had taken shelter within SkyClan. That felt like ages ago... but in reality it really was only last leaf-bare- or was it leaf-fall? Couldn't remember. "Greetings." He replies back in return, ah SkyClan? How they were doing? Splendid really if you thought having a leader recovering from dying and badgers invading the orchard fun. He wasn't about to tell them though that they were struggling a bit, "Yeah we're doing alright. Minnowstar is recovering well too and she should be back to normal I would think." At least he thought so, really he hadn't spoken to the small legged leader much recently nor seen her around. But then he remembered- had the rest of BloodClan even been told that a BloodClanner had decided to put their claws against the flesh of a SkyClanner and take a life? Well if there was any confusion or further question on the matter he would find out. "And BloodClan? How are you all doing?"

  • MOTHPAW

    Skyclan - Apprentice - Female - 10 moons

Berylbreeze was right in assuming no cat within Skyclan's ranks wanted to be here--she certainly didn't. Yet, she acted out of a sense of duty and obligation. Maybe a bit out of wanting to make a point. Unnecessary, surely, and she wan'ts even sure what that point was. That she wasn't afraid? That Skyclan wouldn't waived in wake of the severed alliance? Those, among many others. Ashen fur slipped through the forest silently beside her clanmate. "You'll get no argument from me there." She agreed, nearly smiling. She'd be happy to get in and out as painlessly as they could. Amber hued eyes peered across the border, half expectant and half disdainful. It seemed it was rare enough for these patrols to go without running into someone.

When the dark form of Nemesis arrived, making her presence known in a single syllable, Mothpaw willed her expression to remain neutral. There was no need to show any hostility here. Yet, she always did wear her heart on her sleeve. Then along came the retired leader. She scanned his form, as if searching for something. She had met three leaders, either past or current, and now came the fourth. Perhaps she'd make it through this time without a barb-tongued comment getting in the way. So for now, she was happy to let Berylbreeze engage in the pleasantries. And truly she was...pleasantly surprised when the small talk was not hostile. It relaxed her. It took away some of the tenseness she hadn't known she was holding in her. The situation with Minnowstar only succeeded in further muddling her feelings towards Bloodclan. Their leader, struck down by one of their members and then saved by another. How complicated. But, the tom before them at least seemed genuinely concerned for her. It was a welcome change of attitude. "She's strong." She pointed out idly at the mention of Minnowstar returning to normal. She glanced between the pair expectantly when Berylbreeze returned the question to them. Somehow, with the alliance severed, conversation felt more...relaxed? She didn't feel the need to challenge anything. There was nothing left to challenge anyhow.

  • The only thing Morgan knew about Skyclan was that they were enemies, and enemies got the short end of the stick when it came to being enemies with Bloodclan. Morgan himself would never waste his "precious" time partaking in the capture and torture of enemies, but when it came to the rest of his clanmates Morgan couldn't speak for them. He did pity the enemy clans though seeing as the end of most of their stories would be at the hands of his fellow Bloodclanners. It was just a cruel cycle that probably wouldn't end so long as a few certain Bloodclanners were alive. But he had no say in that, or a say in anything really seeing as he was mute. Hey what could he do though? It wasn't his business to stop anyone from doing their hobby or not. He was just here to do his job and dip.
