Evengaline watches the twins in amusement, his spirits lifting as they always do when he sees that the group's children are doing well. It makes him happy to see his fellows all healthy and appearing to be in good spirits despite the situation. Humming thoughtfully, he turns his attention to Talon again, "I'm doing well," His eyes flash knowingly at the leader that he considers as a friend, "And how are you doing, Talon? Leading everyone in this group is likely harder than keeping us all healthy." He says sympathetically.

"No, actually it's not from what I've seen. But I'm doing well. My ankle still hurts a bit, if that's what you're looking for."
Talon had sprained his ankle in an escape from the zombies just a few days ago. It was healing, but healing slow.
-
Hunter suddenly snatched up his gun znd aimed it at a group of trees. Three shots rang out, and everything was quiet.
-
Talon tore for the door and whipped out looking at Hunter.
"The fuck?!"
-
Hunter pulled z knife out of his boot and headed for the trees.
-
Talon grabbed his bow and arrow from it's place hanging on the wall just inside the barn and loaded it, following Hunter.
"Lenore, get Aya inside. Hunter is doing it again."
Hunter had done this before, it usually meant something was wrong.
-
Hunter payed no attention to Talon, creeping slowly towards the trees. There, a flicker of movement. Hunter narrowed his odd eyes and dashed forwardready for what was to come.
-
"Everyone except warriors inside now!!"
Talon ran forward ready as well.
-
Hunter flicked his head to the side, motioning Talon to go around. Hunter then ran the opposite way. He knew where they were. He could smell them.
-
Talon went the direction Hunter indicated.
The only time he set aside his role as leader was when Hunter was on the battle field. This time would not be an exception.
-
Hunter saw a lone zombie, that seemed bigger than the others. He lunged, ripping his knife up. One down, six more to go.
-
Talon quickly starts dispatching his arrows into the zombies one by one.
-
Hunter dodges the arrows, cutting down zombies that Talon missed. His heart raced a bit too fast, which wasn't good. Hunter didn't stop, though.
-
Eventually Talon started sending the arrows from up in the trees.
This way, he hit every shot and took down quite a few in about a minute.
-
Hunter took down the last zombie, panting. He pressed a hand to his nevk. It was sticky, and his shoulder felt wet. That's not good.
-
Talon dropped out of his tree and hurried into the barn.
"Ev! You need to get out here now!! Hunter's neck is bleeding again!"
Then he went back out to get Hunter closer to the barn.
-
Hunter pulled a bandana out of his pocket and pressed it against his neck. "Not needed. It's hardly even a scratch anymofe." He muttered.
-
"It's still your neck. We need to get Ev to look at it."
-
Hunter sighed, rolling his eyes. "When you act like this, you make ms wish I had left youin the river."
-
"If you had, you'd be dead right now. Who saved you from the zombie that gave you that gash?"
Talon knew that he had saved Hunter when he got the gash, he asked to prove his point.
