Nicknames; Sometimes people may shorten his name to Lix, or even a more affectionate Lixie, and he will respond positively to either of these. Additionally, I think the nickname Lucky is difficult to avoid for him and all his half-siblings. He doesn't mind any sort of nicknames at all though, as long as they're nice or created from friendliness.

Personality;

~He is an ambivert, so he possesses qualities of both introverts and extroverts. These materialize in distinctive ways. The aspects of his personality that are more introverted materialize in that he can be shy, he tends to get lost among his own thoughts, he enjoys time to himself, and--with others--he is often seen as a good listener as well as trustworthy. The aspects of his personality that are more extroverted materialize in that he is easy to approach and is seen as friendly, he is always willing to share his own experiences, he prefers to tackle problems by discussing them, and he genuinely enjoys talking.

~Many people would describe him as having a 4-D personality, which basically just means he has a lot of aspects to his personality; a common trait with ambiverts. This can also mean he is seen as a little bit weird or quirky, but in this case, it's meant more as a compliment than as an insult.

~Part of this stems from the fact that his behaviors can be seen as fairly random, a trait that is apparently common among children of Tyche. It's often quite difficult to predict what he's going to do at any given moment, though this doesn't mean that he experiences a lot of mood swings. Rather, sometimes you might expect him to be quiet, and instead he will have a random outburst of loudness. Or, you might expect him to be loud and he's busy thinking about something. Or, maybe he just shows up at places out of nowhere, surprising people. In a way, he's kind of all over the place.

~Despite this, he is very friendly. He is an extremely energetic person and a lot of people wonder where all the energy comes from because he never seems to have a shortage of it. Among his friend group, he is an energizer and mood maker, ensuring that everyone is happy and having a good time. It's very rare to see him display any sort of persona that is not openly positive.

~So, in the event that he might start crying or getting angry, whatever the matter is will be very serious--when the most optimistic, positive people start coming apart, that's when it's for real.

~He has a tendency to play off a lot of things as a joke, even serious matters. It's not that he's trying to minimize their severity, but instead that he is--as always--trying to find the bright side of something. By lightening the mood some, he typically hopes that he can take a lot of pressure and stress off of those around him. Even so, there are some situations where he will be only serious, and he wouldn't attempt to make jokes in.

~Speaking of jokes, he is a very funny individual. This is probably part of his random personality, but he tends to have a very easy time making other people laugh, and the jokes he does spin tend to be quite hilarious.

~His most defining quality is his loyalty. He would never, ever betray a friend or leave anyone behind. If he becomes close to someone, he tends to be very trusting towards them, even to a fault at times. Additionally, the loss of a close relationship would be extremely, emotionally destructive to him. He'd likely be very upset for a while.

~He is very kind and sweet and has an aura about him that most people would trust fairly easy. He's an easy person to talk to, so he's had his fair share of campers coming to him seeking out advice or as someone just to confide in. Furthermore, he is an extremely affectionate person, so he loves hugging and cuddling with just about anyone and everyone.

~There are some times where he tends to zone out and start daydreaming, even when he's around lots of other people. If you ask him what he was thinking about, he'll usually laugh it off or play it away as nothing important. So although he does have a bit of whimsy about him, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is.

~If he ever had a crush on a girl, or she had a crush on him, he would be quite shy about it, but he would still continue to be himself no matter what. Eventually, if he liked her enough, he would be able to work up the courage to confess to her and hopefully have his feelings reciprocated. In the event that he were rejected, he would be sad, of course, but he would still want to continue having just a friendly relationship with the girl all the same.

~This is a good example of the fact that he tends to have a very relaxed and easy-going personality. It's quite difficult to get him worked up over something (negative, he'll fight all night about pineapple on pizza), and he tends to take a lot of failures or disappointments in life in stride. Either he learns from them or finds ways to take something positive out of it.

~He is also very forgiving. He is not one to hold grudges at all, so if you ever have a mild argument with him about something, you are probably more upset than he is. If you apologize to him, he will forgive you pretty much instantaneously and give you a warm hug for your troubles. However, he will also often forgive people that have truly hurt or burned him, as it can be difficult for him to stop giving the people he cares about second chances.

~Another one of his key characteristics is that he is very, very family-oriented. He loves and cares deeply for his family, but this trait also means that he treats and thinks of his closest friends as family also. This is why it's so upsetting for him if an important relationship in his life falls apart; he feels as if he's just lost a family member. Blood ties mean very little to him (he defines family as qualities instead) so he also treats all of his half-siblings as if they were his very own, full-blooded ones.

~He is a very gentle person, and so he doesn't like violence or fighting that much. Most of his demigod training is out of necessity, but rather than thinking of protecting himself, he's usually focused on protecting his loved ones instead. Because of this, he will rarely--if ever--allow an argument to become a physical altercation.

~That said, he will be the softest and sweetest boy you have ever met but if physically threaten someone he loves, he will morph into a completely different person. He has no problem resorting to violence to protect someone important to him, and he can actually be quite vicious in this state. Very uncharacteristic and a little bit disturbing, but it's no holds barred if you go after someone he cares about.

~Overall, Felix is a very kind and friendly boy who will always do his very best to keep the mood and atmosphere around him happy and light so that way everyone around him will feel happy and light, too. In a way, you could say his upbeatness, tendency to energize, loyalty, and sweetness all make him a little bit like a Golden Retriever!

Combat Information

Powers;

Lucky Snap: Felix is fairly powerful for a child of Tyche and has some ability to actually manipulate the luck of other people. In this case, his able to grant another individual good luck for a short period of time. While this is active, the person might find they do better in games of chance, and also have lower odds of losing fights, among other things.

Unlucky Snap: Felix also has the ability to grant someone bad luck for short periods of time. While this effect is active, the person might find they are doing worse at games of chance and have higher odds of losing fights, among other things.

Lucky Streak: The only way in which Felix can manipulate is own luck. He has the ability to grant himself a sort of stacking effect, in which if one good/lucky thing happens to him, more good things will continue to occur too. However, once this effect wears off, Felix's luck will even out for a while, and he will have only the average luck of the average demigod, rather than his usual boost.

Superluck: This is a passive ability Felix possesses. Essentially, he tends to have a much higher lucky rate than other demigods, and good things just seem to happen around him or to him such as avoiding most bodily harm even in a situation where he really should be injured. He tends to always come out on top.

(Side Note: I just wanted to say that since luck is such a confusing/fickle power, most of the affects of his abilities will be left up to player interpretation. What I mean is, even if he were to give someone good luck, they could still have bad things happen to them during that time. His powers are by no means any sort of saving throw or Hail Mary because they are totally random. Just because he's usually really lucky doesn't mean he can't have bad luck too, or that he'll never find himself in a bad situation. Just wanted to clarify!)

Weapons; Felix is trained to use long swords, so when he goes into combat, he will usually have one made of celestial bronze with him as well. He prefers long swords due to the reach they have, as well as the power, but without them being too clunky or him having to sacrifice too much mobility. (I also toyed with him maybe getting a sentient sword, for the laughs, but I'm not sure yet).

Dragon-Bone Dice: A magical set of of seven dice gifted to Felix by his mother Tyche. Rolling these dice will cause random and unpredictable effects to occur. Rolling a great number of dice will also cause more drastic effects to occur, so take caution. These dice are spelled to reappear in Felix's possession anytime they are thrown or misplaced.

Other Information

History; Felix actually comes from a family of high-class criminals, the sort that tend to rob museums and steal art and the like. So, from a young age, he was actually their lucky charm of sorts since whenever he was around, things seemed to always go right on their heists. As he got older, Felix came to resent these criminal ways, but continued to take on more and more active roles in their heists on the stipulations that his younger brother would not be involved in anyway. Aside from this, he had a good upbringing since his family had a lot of money from jobs, the only real downside being that they moved around from one expensive house to another so frequently. When he was around ten, Felix discovered that the woman he thought was his mother was actually not. This event occurred after Tyche intervened in the situation, feeling it was important for Felix to receive proper training around other demigods. He began attending Camp Half-Blood every summer thereafter, and he did end up forgiving both of his parents for lying to him about his origins, but part of him was a little relieved to discover that his biological mother was actually not a criminal too, and had even cared enough about his well-being (at least somewhat) to intervene and offer him some sanctuary. He has a complicated a very relationship with everyone in his family, with the exception of his younger brother, who he loves with his whole entire heart and would kill for.

~Is extremely passionate about video games. They're one of his main hobbies and he's always ready to start discussing and talking about them, and he likes a pretty huge variety! The only part of summer camp he doesn't like is that he can't play video games, but he has other things he can do instead.

~Has a custom built gaming laptop that he keeps under his bunk. He doesn't play it at camp but wants to make sure it's safe.

~Even though he plays a lot of games, his favorite genre is RPGs. He also likes playing fighting games with friends.

~Is a huge Nintendo fanboy and you'll see him literally have a meltdown anytime they announce anything, from Mario to Pokemon to Fire Emblem.

~In fact, he actually sneaks on his DS at camp quite often after hours so that he can check up on and play some Animal Crossing. He never turns the Internet features on though, since that can be dangerous.

~Aside from video games, like most children of Tyche, Felix loves playing lots of games in general. He has a particular affinity for card games and has quite the collection he brings to camp with him to play with friends and half-siblings (hit him up if you wanna play Exploding Kittens, Munckinz, Unstable Unicorns, Bears vs. Babies, You've Got Crabs, The Sheriff of Nottingham, stuff like that. He's also got Uno for the vanilla folks).

~Anyway, he just really loves tabletop gaming in general and likes board games and stuff like that (not Monoploy though, he hates that because everyone always leaves angry).

~I think this goes without saying, but he's absurdly lucky and seems to win at games of chance a lot.

~He's a tall, giant bab and his hugs are some of the warmest, most comforting, fluffy hugs you could ever experience in your lifetime.

~Possesses some level of thief-based skills due to his up-bringing. Basically, he just knows how to be stealthy when he wants to be and how to pick some locks sometimes (nothing too advanced though).

~Yeah, doesn't really talk about how he's an international criminal at camp since he's pretty ashamed of it. So no one really knows this about him.

~Literally one of the best drivers in existence, he can go fast, Tokyo drift, drive up ramps, all kinds of Fast & Furious level tricks and you will still be totally safe with him behind the wheel.

~He does not like to read because he tends to get distracted or bored too quickly. Video games (more interactive stories) hold his attention much better.

~Will skip out on training activities at camp if his friends do too, for literally any reason.

~Loves, loves, loves his younger brother.

~Would be so happy and sweet when he started dating his girlfriend. He'd want to hug and cuddle her all the time, but he'd also be so freaking gentle and soft with her. He'd hype her up and make sure she was taken care of but would also like to tease her lightly. His main goal in life is to make her laugh. Also, back hugs for days, he'd always be trying to hug her from behind and surprise her and make her smile. He'd also probably really love a height difference, and would give her all his hoodies to wear and live in.

~Much more of a hugger than a kisser, but straight up Certified BF Material^TM all the same.

~Doesn't get all that embarrassed easily because he's super open and willing to laugh at himself. Has no issues clowning his own behavior.

Psychological Information

Personality: Due to being raised an essentially a cult, Avis has a rougher personality. She was taught to be a warrior of nature, solidifying two aspects of her personality. On the one hand, she acts hostile and serious to most people she meets. She spends most of her time training in combat and controlling her powers, not interacting with the other campers. She doesn’t tolerate any of her fellow demigods’ playful, goofy, social, or rude behaviors, often saying that they are demigods, and demigods are supposed to work to be the next generation of gods, and not to loaf around. She is quick to anger, and will easily snap at anyone who annoys her. On the other hand, she is a sworn protector and lover of nature. She loves all manner of animals and plants, and prefers to spend most of her time alone in the woods, engrossed in the environment. If someone lays a hand on nature, whether it be mass pollution to one piece of garbage littered, she will personally make sure you no longer have that hand. Since she was raised in an underground society most of her life, she is fascinated by all of the stuff she missed out on most of her life. One of her most favorite thing is modern music, often listening to it on her headphones, singing and dancing along like a dork. (Though if anyone were to see her, she’s immediately cuss them out.) In fact, she’s actually incredibly dorky, often finding the smallest things in life fascinating and wonderful, and even acting goofy and more free whenever she’s alone. Avis likes to be by herself a lot, which brings out her true personality. These moments can range from quietly playing her flute in her favorite spot in the forest, to talking and making jokes to herself. Whatever she’s doing, she only feels free to be open around herself and people she deeply trusts, so far that person only being her mortal mom. It takes her a while to open up to people, as she acts tough and brooding towards everyone while, in reality, she’s still young and likes to have fun, just like anyone else her age. Living with the Second Amazons has messed her up a little bit, but she prefers to push these feelings down through joking about it. Even though she may act rude or dismissive, all of her positive qualities make her a great friend whenever she actually opens herself up to making friends. She is fiercely protective and loyal, making sure you never get hurt, while also being a joy to be around. Still, you’re going to have to get through to her first.

Powers:

Advanced Shapeshifting/Animal Shifting: Even though all gods and demigods can shapeshift, Avis is able to shapeshift more easier than her peers. While gods can shapeshift into people, since Avis’ goddess mother is heavily involved with animals, Avis can shapeshift into many different animals just like her mother.

Zoolingualism: Another animal-related power gained from her mother is zoolingualism, the ability to understand and communicate with animals. Avis can hear what animals are saying in English, and speak back to them in their language, creating a conversation between her and them. This does not mean she can control the animals, she can only talk to them. She can get them to do her bidding if she asks them, but just like people, animals can refuse her offer and not do the task simply because they don’t want to.

Enhanced Senses: Avis has more keen senses than the average human. Her hearing is slightly better than most, her sight is slightly better, etc. This also means her precision is better than most, which is entirely intentional given she is the daughter of Artemis. This precision allows her to have superb inate skills when it comes to archery.

Weapons: As a daughter of Artemis, Avis naturally uses arrows as her main weapon. However, in order to stand out from her godly mother, she uses a crossbow as opposed to a bow and arrow. She also has two daggers, one in a holster on each side of her, that she uses in case of emergencies, usually whenever she loses her crossbow, she runs out of arrows, or she needs to attack an enemy that is super close to her.

Other Items: She has several holders for her weaponry, her holsters for her daggers being attached to a utility belt, said belt being used to hold many other items that may be used in certain situations.

She also uses an antlered animal mask for hiding her identity.

Also a water bottle because hydration is important.

Other Information

History: Avis was born in the temple of the Second Amazons, an underground cult of women who worshipped Artemis for hundreds of years. Technically, it was their second temple, with their first being located in Greece. They were forced to relocate due to the fact that they were almost discovered by the government, but that was way before Avis was born. Artemis, being both a magical goddess who does not abide by the rules of human biology and as a fertility goddess, used her magic on Avis’ mother, seeing her as the most worthy to carry her child out of all the followers. Initially, Regina saw that it was her duty to raise Avis to be a perfect heir, disciplining her to be the perfect goddess and never exposing her to the outside world. However, she eventually grew a legitimate bond with her daughter, causing the realization that she needed to get out of there.

Despite the objections and even threats of the other cultists, Regina and Avis managed to escape without a trace, eventually hiding in a small town in Orgeon.

Fun Facts:
