    Okay cool, Hades is god of the underworld and wealth, cats are sometimes regarded as guiding the dead or being able to sense spirits, kid can turn into a cat. Boom, justified. That was easy.

    Personality: Rusty is calm and rational, although he is sometimes violent. He prefers action over words, and is one of the best fighters in camp. He can be friendly and 'memey' but only if he likes you. Which shouldn't be hard. Just don't pull his tail.

    Likes: Darkness, interactions, hunting, battle.

    Dislikes: People pulling his tail, getting wet, people trash talking his father.

    Powers:

    Shade Flame: A pitch black fire that can render someone helpless. Can only be used once every six hours, or he collapses.


    Possession: Rusty can take over a soul and force it to do as he commands.


    Shadow Manipulation: He can materialize shadows, or use them as living beings.


    Shapeshift: This enables him to use his cat form.


    Weapons: He's got his fangs and his claws.

    Other Items: His collar doubles as a universal translator, so he may speak human in cat form.

    History: Born in a town near the camp, Rusty grew up around demigods. He made great connections with his father, but never knew his mother. Nothing else of note.

    Sesshomaru Hey there bud! I am just a little worried about Rusty, I'm not quite sure he really fits into the canon we're trying to make with this thread? See, the thing is, children of Hades aren't really about collecting souls like in Bleach and whatnot. They're more known to manipulate shadows, commune with the dead, manipulate already existing spirits, stuff like that. And while I do think his soul related powers and sword sound really cool, and I know they'd be totally awesome in a book or movie, they're hella OP in an RP. Like, I know you probably wouldn't use them like that, but just the implications and whatnot are there, and wouldn't really be fair to other players, you know what I'm saying? I also don't really understand the collar and serum thing? Like, Camp Half-Blood isn't some kind of prison, nobody is going out of their way to control these kids. To me, it honestly just seems like Rusty is from a different type of universe, and so just doesn't really fit with this one. he's not a bad character, not at all, I just don't personally think he would fit in the canon I and the other players here are constructing together, ya feeling me? Also, this is a more minor complaint, but he wouldn't have been able to be born at camp since Larkin has been at camp the longest, and being born in camp just once again doesn't really fit in or canon. Anyway, I'm so sorry about this pal, I just gotta make sure everything fits (at least a little bit) in the context of this thread. By no means am I saying you can't RP here or with us, I would still love to have you. In fact, I'd be more than happy to help you develop a well-fleshed out character who you would enjoy and would fit in here, if you'd like me to do that. Thanks for your understanding, and pelase feel free to respond to me however you feel comfortable doing so.

    3. The serum in his collar is to stop him from getting into vicious fights. If the collar didn't exist, a lot of campers would be wounded.

    SUGAR. I'm a little disappointed quite frankly because under her fun facts section you just put fun facts instead of FUN FACTS: ASTRID EDITION or FUN FACTS: CARTER EDITION like you did on all your other forms and I honestly really appreciated that and am sad to see it go. :'( (pls, I hope you know I'm all jk). Alright, let's see, she's a babe and I love her. I really like her spitfire personality, I think she's really interesting. I am A-OKAY with her having power of wild animals/shapeshifting/etc. whatever you want really. I HIGHLY APPRECIATE HER MAGIC BOW AND ARROWS THAT IS SO FREAKING COOL. Anyways, accepted!


    Sesshomaru Ah, okay, the power set is better, but the collar honestly still doesn't make much sense to me. If he's dangerous enough to need to be sedated on a regular basis, than I just don't see how they would ever let him wander around or be a part of camp. Yes he's a demigod, but he's also regularly being a huge threat to the other campers in a place where they are supposed to be safe, it just doesn't seem logical to me, y'know? Also, even if that were not an issue, there's not really any "adults" around camp to regulate his behavior. They've got a couple satyrs and Chiron right now, and while there are some campers of legal age, it makes even less sense to me to allow a small group of campers to decide when they want to randomly knock out another. So I just don't feel like it fits.

    Gold! & Sesshomaru Hey guys just from what I am reading I think their is a disconnect in the issue being discussed. I think Goldie means that the cat thing should be something he is in control of because the collar doesn't sit well in the world we are all building. It makes little sense that this character would be allowed to remain in the camp if he were that much of a threat to the other characters. Everyone else has abilities but they are either in control of them or abilities that won't be op or harmful to other characters. Also is your character a person or a cat because that is confusing me a bit not gonna lie hahaha! I am just confused because if he is always a cat how is he going to interact with other characters. From what I have seen those characters who can shape shift aren't able to talk in a language others are able to understand. Sort of like Frank from the books, he wasn't able to talk to others in his animal form and being in the form for too long was physically exhausting for him and he was forced to change back. Also with the soul possession I think goldie is trying to say that that is a bit over powered and might lead to issues. If you need help we can for sure help you come up with other less god like abilities! We are always happy to help! Just thought that maybe I could help clear this up a bit hahaha!
