  • Abbi had just held one of these in the Veil not too long ago, but he wasn't entirely against doing it again. After all, there were massive changes happening in the Ruins. Someone - no, not just someone - Stone, his uncle, their king, died. It was evident that it was no longer a party trick, but that the tiger wouldn't be returning home any time soon. There was an odd limbo they were each in, where nothing much happened and there was no semblance of normality anymore. Maybe this - this event, maybe it would help them feel better. He doubted it, he truly did, but he needed to try something.

"I'm hosting a meet and greet over here," he called out, "I've invited allies to join as well, so be sure to be personable if possible," the physician warned, though his warning was towards the warring gays (Nadine and Ver versus Johnny and Gyro, namely,) "I'm Abbi Aeternum. I'm the Ruins physician and warlord of training. I also serve as a shadowkeeper over in Shadow Veil," he paused for a moment, nose wrinkling up as he wasn't sure what else to say. Announcing his litter size wasn't all to much fun anymore, "I'm mostly self taught with both my powers and my medic knowledge."

  • LOVE SHOULDN'T BE CONTRABAND ——— TAGS

ismene followed behind abbi the entire way from shadow veil. as much as she loves traveling and seeing new places, the girl had no clue where the sanguine ruins were until right about now. she never manages to travel up this far before and it's...it's a little bit chillier than she originally expected. ismene shivers slightly, but manages to keep pace with the older feline. icarus flies silently above her, moving from one air stream to another and barely flapping his own wings. must be easy to travel using the winds instead of running around on foot. ismene is starting to feel the burn from all the movement. ugh, she could really use a nap.

however, the youth experiences a jolt of energy when they finally arrive. molten amber eyes brighten at the sight of giant pyramids looming in the distance. "so cool!" she murmurs, slinking in beside the shadowkeeper. ismene falls silent as her companion speaks, icarus landing on a rock beside her. izzy is quite shocked to hear that abbi is also a member of the sanguine ruins. how could she have never known that before? wow, he's so awesome! ismene hadn't known that you could be a part of more than just one place. it's a strange concept to think about, but very interesting, nonetheless. "um, i am ismene and i am from shadow veil. this is my eagle, icarus, he helps me see far away," should she say that she can possess the eagle? would that be weird? what else should she say? probably. izzy glances over at abbi, looking for direction. "er...it's nice to meet you all."

  • Technicolor was, amazingly, with a small group of Brigadiers, as opposed to just being out alone. The young girl opted for this arrangement because she'd never been in the Sanguine Ruins before. She sat down as people were doing the introducing thing and started after a lioness just a little older than she finished. "Hi! I'm Technicolor! I'm from the Painted Brigade, and surprisingly, I really like to paint. Nice to meet y'all!" She said it all in one breath, but didn't rush through any of it. She was getting really good at controlling the speed of her speech!

  • A meet and greet with everyone from everywhere? Sounded cool! Sounded interesting! Sounded... just that slight bit terrifying. A lot could go wrong if he said too much or too little, and as a prince he was sure that there was a lot riding on good impressions - he represented the Solaris Kingdom just as much as he represented the Ruins after all. Swallowing that last lump in his throat before his approach, the savannah would suddenly crane his neck upwards and raise his tail above his head, ignoring the subsequent whiplash he got from trying to look so prestigious. "'Sup guys?,". That wasn't as formal as he'd like, would they mind if he dabbled in phrases below his official status? Jumping to an empty spot in the sand, scuffling about to find his balance once more, the male would mew "I'm Showpaw Tormenta-Million. I... I don't know what I like to do, but I'm a prince so that sort of excuses it... right? Anyway uh, lemme know if you wanna hang out or anything, and uh... it's good to meet you,". Showpaw began breathing again, first intake of air audible. Hopefully that was good enough, he'd hate to have to perform a do-over.

  • i'td been a long time since she attended one of these. it was almost refreshing to see so many unfamiliar faces, as she figured she could mess up and nobody would notice. her days of youth and anxiety were behind her now, but there was always the worry that it would come back with a vengeance.

the young leader approached and sat down, nodding kindly to those gathered. she noticed that they were mostly children, and wondered if she was in the right place. she laughed silently at their introductions, the only thing revealing that she found them amusing was the way her smile twitching and her eyes gleamed.

finally, it came her turn and the ginger maine coon spoke carefully. "my name is saturnstar, nice to meet you all. i am one of the leaders of the blackheart rogues and i like to... travel." it wasn't exactly a lie, but more recently she was more inclined to stay home. maybe one day she'd travel agrelos, but for now she had nine children and an entire clan to worry about. "it's lovely to meet you all."

  • Nadine had been surprised that such a big task had been handed out as a weekly task, but if anyone was up for it, it was definitely Abbi. She smiles at him as she makes her way over, sitting close to her son as she finally joins the group. She's missed some of the names given and can't claim that it doesn't matter because she already knows them - she doesn't. These are all fresh faces to her, besides maybe the Blackheart Overseer and of course, her family. She ruffles Showpaw's fur on his head (unless he stops her,) and gives one more beat of a warm smile to Abbi.

"Aren't you all just the nicest? 'M Nadine, one of the Ruins leaders. 'M a real big fan of walking, but 'll try anything once." Is that too explicit? She hopes not. Even if Nadine wants to turn the attention onto her, however briefly, she doesn't want to take away from Abbi's nice set up.

  • Ver wasn't to far behind Saturnstar, her chest was puffed out tail held high and though she hadn't realized it yet she just may have mirrored her son who stood on the other side. She knew everybody here which wasn't really any surprise, she expected as much considering her dual alliances. ”Names Ver, I'm the second leader of the Rogues, Warlord of Strategy here in the ruins and a deputy of the Veil” it sounded so ridiculous when she laid it out all like that but it was her reality. She wished she could've lied or just said she was a singular leader and not ousted herself but hiding things would just do more harm then good.

She would leave Saturnstar's side to come up to her family greeting Nadine with a quick affectionate lick on the neck as she curled her body loosely close to both her son and girlfriend. A low chuckle coming from her as she addressed Nadine's previous statement ”Don't I know it” she slyly comments in a whisper close to the Servals ear.

  • Ah, he loved meet and greets. He just enjoyed meeting other members and learning about them, but adding the aspect of allies was even more exciting. It wasn't often that Jace visited allies anyway. He joined the group, sitting amongst them and beaming a joyful grin.

"Hi! I'm Jace, King of the Ruins. I . . like arts and crafts a lot. I like to make jewelry or paint." He meowed, adding one of his useless hobbies.

[no blood, no bone, no ash]

  • — Already the male was feeling rather drained, his limits for daily socialization well above the normal maximum. He found the presence of others irritating, their many emotions confusing and unnecessary. Still, after being absent for nearly a year, it was imperative that he put his mind through this sort of hell in order to get his name back out there. So, with internal reluctance, the maine coon would settle somewhere near the large welcoming committee and their boring introductions. Ugh, what was he going to say? "I'm Eian and I wish all of you would shut up and die."? No, he would save his bitter temperament for later. There were a lot of higher ups at this stupid meet and greet, some of which he wasn't ready to deem disposable enemies just yet.

"Name's Elian. Ruins." He would accompany this rather short introduction with a small nod and a nonchalant roll of his broad shoulders. He didn't have that many interesting details about himself, at least none that he would bother sharing. Yes, he liked to experiment on the innocent and travel to foreign lands, but he didn't see why that was important to any of them. Besides, the more they knew the more they would try to figure out.
