1. The leader's word is law.

2. New deputies must be appointed by moonhigh upon the death/retirement of the previous deputy.

3. Medicine cats can have a mate and kits, however their duty must come to the clan first. If they are seen as inefficient in duty, they will be exiled.

4. Kits can only become apprentices at the age of six moons.

5. You may have friends or acquaintances outside of the clan, however your loyalty to your clan must come first. You may not take a mate outside of the clan.

6. Kits regardless of being an outsider or not, must be taken care of.

7. Elders and queens must come first when given prey.

8. Betrayal of the clan or attempts to split the clan will not be tolerated. Those who are discovered committing such acts will be put to death.

9. Apprentices who are deemed not ready to become warriors must remain apprentices until they are worthy.

10. A cat cannot be named deputy until they have mentored an apprentice previously.

personality Serious, intelligent, practical, and cynical, Spiderstorm exhibits a no nonsense attitude and is commanding and ambitious. Emotion is something that this serious she-cat refuses to allow to get in her way and will do anything and everything to achieve her goals, even if it means killing to be able to reach them. She is remorseless, practically heartless, and looks at situations through a lens of how "useful" they are to her. If she sees she can gain something from a current goal, she will cooperate to a certain extent. Spiderstorm only considers benefits to the clan as they come and go, and will only agree on something she sees would benefit her more in the end. This also makes her incredibly difficult to win over, much less get her to trust anyone enough to allow one to gain her interest. She is strictly a business orientated individual and takes tasks very seriously, even sometimes harshly if the situation calls for it.

This also makes her more inclined to cut off those she may consider a liability. Anyone who may be too risky to associate with, she will refuse to acknowledge. Spiderstorm truly has a black and white view of the world and isn't afraid to show what she thinks is the "correct" way.

However, Spiderstorm isn't completely cold. She does genuinely have the interest of the clan at heart although she does not openly express it. Her emotions on the inside are more normal than what she may show, and she only desires to help her clan thrive as she is unquestionably loyal to her clan alone and loves her clanmates dearly. To betray her clan is completely out of the question and she will put down her life for her clanmates if needed. She is more than capable of showing kindness, it merely has to be found under her cold exterior.

history Born after MarshClan had settled within their new home, Spiderkit had a rather normal kithood, although oddly enough never grown close to her mother and had really only interacted with her father, Archstep. Her brother, Tanglekit never had bothered her at this point in her life and she was relatively close with him. However, as they reached their apprentice moons, Spiderpaw was soon visited in her dreams by strange dark cats. They whispered promises of power to her, enough to protect her clan and become an even better warrior when she would eventually become one. Naïve, Spiderpaw had eagerly agreed to the dark cat's promises, and had begun to train with them in her dreams. She never spoke a word about it and oftentimes excelled far more than Tanglepaw. This unknowingly had caused Tanglepaw to become envious of her progress as Spiderpaw often received praise from Archstep and Brindlestar for her progress.

However, as she and her brother were reaching the end of their apprentice moons, Brindlestar's death and ensued, with the flood taking both of their parents from them. Spiderpaw had grieved on the inside, but with the dark whispers of the dark cats who guided her pawsteps thus far, Spiderpaw had hardened her heart with a new goal as rumors on how Brindlestar was leading the clan down a dark path began to spread, Spiderpaw had set on redeeming Brindlestar's name, but that was merely a side goal. The thirst for power had settled within Spiderpaw as well, and power seemed so utterly tempting to the young she-cat, thus her personality had mostly changed by the time she had gained her warrior name: Spiderstorm.

At this time, Spiderstorm had set on ignoring Tangletree's presence. Instead, her focus had shifted to solely her warrior duties while attempting to appeal to the current leader without any heed to who would be her predecessor in terms of deputyship. This behavior did not go unnoticed by Tangletree, him finding disgust in Spiderstorm's developing manipulative ways. Eventually, it would soon come to pass that the two would clash. With Tangletree eventually confronting her about her odd behavior, Spiderstorm had initially brushed off his accusations, yet with his persistence and threatening her, Spiderstorm had attacked her brother.

The injuries weren't enough to kill him, however Spiderstorm proclaimed that as a warning to him to stay out of her way or the next time, he wouldn't be lucky enough to escape with his life. This put a rift between Spiderstorm and Tangletree, forcing him to lie about his injuries, Spiderstorm soon enough was appointed to the position of deputy at the age of 31 moons. However, even now Spiderstorm still follows the tempting whispers of the dark cats who still visit her dreams, and keeps a wary eye on her brother due to him knowing far too much even if it is considerably a small amount of information.

plot ideas -Spiderstorm gradually manipulates the current leader to give her more and more power until the clan is under her full control.

-Possibly allies MarshClan with some rebelling OakClan cats in attempts to gain more territory, therefore starting a war which she will either kill Sunnystar or take one of his lives.

-Might kill the current leader once they reach their last life (with permission of course)

-Might imprison her brother Tangletree due to him becoming too much of a "liability" to her upon becoming leader.

-However, I do plan for Spiderstorm to eventually have a character arc to become a more decent character with more morals than she currently has (which is basically almost none).

personality Tangletree is a tom whom is very outwardly expressive, he is more on the jovial, jolly side and is rather good natured and kind. Ambition however, is something that runs in his blood like that of his sister. He desires power dearly, yet unlike his sister he will not abandon everything just to obtain it. He is very careful, and uses moral reasoning, and is able to be sympathetic and empathetic, things that his sister currently lacks. Not only is he these traits, he is very charming and persuasive and excells in social situations or diplomatic situations. However, he shows hesitation far too often and it may take him quite awhile to reach his boiling point to take action.

Tangletree however can be also cold hearted and merciless to those who had crossed him, and holds grudges with a burning anger within him. Forgiveness is not something he is able to allow himself to do at least not very easily. However, with enough effort put toward repairing any wrongdoings done to him, Tangletree is capable of forgiving but his trust is very difficult to regain.

personality Quiet, a bit timid and having a very lonely nature, Applepaw is more often than not on his own, avoiding much attention as he dislikes receiving any sort of spotlight. However, it is not to say he is an introverted tom, more like he feels like he doesn't deserve attention as he feels quite useless to his clanmates. On his more cheerful days, Applepaw is enthusiastic, energetic and warm. He is more than happy to be a listening ear to his clanmates and simply be support to them for that makes him feel useful to them. However, on his darker days Applepaw is pessimistic, sullen, and lacks much motivation yet not enough to completely make him lose much determination. Even in the sight of his obvious handicap, Applepaw refuses to allow himself to give up which is an admirable trait.

He is also very brave and driven, a loyal cat with an ever enthusiastic energy about him that is only held back by a miserable card life had thrown at him. However, he is very flexible with dealing in situations and simply strives to do the best he possibly can, even if it is limited.

history Applepaw was born as the only kit in a litter to Flamewatcher and Cinderspeck, as such he had been thoroughly spoiled and coddled by his mother and father and was constantly protected by his mother over the slightest things, barely able to get himself slightly hurt without Cinderspeck worrying endlessly over Applekit until he was seen to that he was alright. However, his father took a more normal approach to raising Applekit, instilling into him values of being a valiant, loyal warrior. However, upon reaching the age of 5 moons, a moon before he would become an apprentice, Flamewatcher had been killed in one of the many battles that had begun to take place between OakClan and MarshClan. That had struck Applekit deeply, but it had hurt Cinderspeck even more so.

Applekit soon became Applepaw a moon later, although his grieving mother's condition had worsened. Taking care of Cinderspeck had more or less been his top priority, often neglecting his apprentice training for supporting his mother. However, upon reaching 13 moons, Applepaw had started his testing for his warrior ceremony, however in the midst of his training, a violent storm had ripped through the territory. Attempting to find somewhere to take shelter, Applepaw had attempted to find somewhere to hide, however with the blinding rain and violent winds, it had disorientated the young tom. Soon, his fate would be sealed as the storm had uprooted a tree and had landed upon Applepaw, pinning the tom to the ground. The pain had been immense, and he had fallen unconscious due to the agony.

For three days, Applepaw had been stuck underneath the tree as patrols were sent out to attempt to find him. Eventually, he had been found, his voice nearly gone from crying out for help for hours. He had been brought back to camp, unable to move his hind legs and had been dragged there. Yet, unfortunately during his time away, Cinderspeck too had been presumed dead during the storm, having already assumed that Applepaw had too left her in death and had left the camp, never to return.

Applepaw since then had been forced to retire, Spiderstorm refusing to acknowledge his worth and had never brought up giving the young tom his warrior name. He know remains confined to camp, loathing the path his life had taken, but had never complained... at least not yet.

personality Smallbird is what one would call a certainly gentle, and soft-hearted she-cat. She is softspoken, rarely gets angry and has a very patient and tolerant nature... at least most of the time. She has what one would call a very sympathetic heart, and constantly takes pity on those who may be less fortunate than her. She desires to ease the pain of others, for it hurts her to see those in pain or in agony, regardless of it being emotional or physical. Perhaps the female is too gentle for her own good, as she does form deep emotional attachments to those around her fairly easily, and she is very quick to trust. And her readiness to forgive just as easily could be seen as... well, very weak. There is no denying that she is a kind she-cat, but she could be just as easily taken advantage of due to her trusting nature.

She is quite the hopeless romantic as well, desiring a wonderful romance, however due to her bad luck with romance so far, Smallbird had more or less kept herself from taking on a new mate, though it was mostly due to fear of having her heart broken yet again. She instead focuses upon the achievements of her kits, and even though she is very proud of all of them, she desires more of her own, and oftentimes is very willing to take care of kits that are not her own to fill in the void deep within her that seemingly cannot be filled.

Nonetheless, Smallbird is a very dedicated queen to her clan. Despite disliking the current deputy due to reasons of her own, she would never dream of deserting her clan unless she would be pushed to. She loves all of her clanmates unconditionally as if they were her own kits, and is very content to remain a queen to continue to provide her clan more warriors in the future.

history Smallbird was born to Raggedstorm and Watermoon alongside her brother, Tawnysky. Having been born a few moons prior to Brindlestar officially adopting clan ways, Smallkit at the time was a very energetic and excitable kit, always rushing ahead into endless adventure and dragging Tawnykit behind her. She had a relatively normal life growing up in the newly formed MarshClan, becoming a loyal apprentice and had been relatively normal. Eventually falling for a fellow apprentice, Snakepaw. However, her brother had disapproved of the relationship forming between the two early on, unknown to Smallpaw that Snakepaw was allied with the Dark Forest.

She had continued to remain oblivious to Snakepaw's involvement with the Dark Forest, eventually becoming a warrior alongside him. Soon, Smallbird had become a queen around 28 moons, expecting Snakebelly's kits. It was during this time that Snakebelly's involvement with the Dark Forest had deepened, and upon one fateful morning, Snakebelly had been found dead within his nest, bleeding from fresh injuries. As the tom was brought out for Smallbird to mourn, just as the grieving queen had buried her nose into her mate's fur, she had picked up a distinctive scent: Spiderstorm's. Her eyes had locked with the young warrior at that moment, seeing no remorse in the she-cat's eyes although bewilderment and rage had flowed through Smallbird, coming to the suspicion that Spiderstorm in some way had killed her lover in cold blood.

She later gave birth to Snakebelly's kits, however, misfortune would plague her still. The litter had all died shortly after Smallbird had given birth to them. She had soon gone back to warrior duties, though grief had more or less made her perform less than desirably. However it wasn't long before she fell for a loner tom named River, often sneaking away to him to ease her pain. She had trusted him fullheartedly, soon becoming pregnant with his kits. However, the relationship fell apart quickly as Smallbird had revealed she was pregnant. River had broken off the relationship with her, leaving Smallbird alone once more.

She then gave birth to her second litter, not revealing the father of her kits to anyone and had focused all of her attention upon Hailkit, Fuzzykit, and Nettlekit, watching as all of them had become fine warriors and delights in their achievements as it more or less made up for her despair in her former relationships.
