  • This was certainly a new location for the tawny feline. Pale olive eyes trailed over each nook and cranny of the city, paws carrying her as if she belonged here. It felt strangely familiar but at the same time it felt like she was walking through a never ending maze that, as mazes went, she would never find the exit to. It was unnerving, making her uncomfortable slightly but at the same time she felt like she was at home as she felt the gazes of many dark, brooding Bloodclanners peering out at her from the shadows, beneath trash bins, around corners, and in the depths of ally ways. Despite the dark, threatening stares fixated onto her stocky form she didn't feel so scared. In fact, she felt almost powerful in a sense as it felt like she had every pair of eyes on her.

Sauntering forward with a stoic frown, as she almost had to frown to keep from reopening her wounds, she kept her head held high and shoulders pushed forward as she stalked down the concrete sidewalk. She'd heard about Bloodclan from her mother. She knew all about Cougarstar's time in Riverclan and Bloodclan from the stories she had been told by the almost identical molly she called her mother. She never had felt much of an urge to travel to Bloodclan's territory but it didn't seem so bad. She just wondered where their camp was. She was sure it had changed a multitude of times since her mother's time as deputy here. But that was besides the point. For now she would just make herself comfortable as she stalked down the alley way. It wasn't like she had anything else to do in her spare time right now.

A monster lurked nearby, face half shredded, a mangled appearance that inspired dread to those that dared look upon his tattered features. The beastly tom was of leviathan size, with dark markings of earthen hue, laced in muddy stripes that stretched toward tan accents. One blistering golden eye scanned the shadows of an alley, cutting through the hungry darkness with the ease of predatory intent. That was when he spotted her, a stranger with her head held high, in a place that was most unwelcoming to those not of BloodClan scent. Why was this cat here, he wondered?

Something about her sent shivers of recognition down his spine, and made his blistering optic narrow into a flaming dagger. Despite the scars that laced her figure, the stranger possessed a striking resemblance to a she-cat Sheogorath had once had relations with, a fierce leader of RiverClan known as Cougarstar. Perhaps they were...related? Some how, in some way, but she seemed young in comparison to Sheogorath's former lover. A spawn, perhaps? But with who as a father?

Nathanos couldn't help but consider the idea that Cougarstar might have had a litter with his blood in their veins. They had...spent a night together, once upon a time, but then she had faded, disappeared from the land, and he had never seen her again. Was she alive? Was this the subject of their creation? It was a far fetched idea spent upon the thought that this stranger simply bore a similar appearance to Cougarstar, and Nathanos knew he was reaching, but a part of him was dying with curiousity. What if his theory was correct? It seemed...plausible. Possible. Did Sheogorath have more children than even the former tyrant knew about? And was this female one of them? There was only one way to find out.

Nathanos, upon large paws, revealed himself, moving out of the shadows with newfound purpose, his one golden eye trained upon the stranger's features.

"Say, you look like someone I used to know, back when me name was Sheogorath! I'm a different cat now, heh, but I couldn't help but notice the resemblance to...an old friend. Who are yer parents, dearie?" Nathanos inquired boldly, not a hint of anxiety plaguing his features. The massive tom was confident and brazen, with his flaming vision burning with the pursuit of the knowledge he sought to find.

  • Truthfully, Shark never thought about her father too much. She had figured that if he wanted nothing to do with her and her siblings then so be it. She didn't know where he was, hell, she didn't even know he had died. She just figured he had sauntered off to have some more kids. She had learned that he had a good number of kids after all. Shit, a good number was an understatement even. But she never did let it bother her. As long as she had her mother than she was good to go. But it seemed that now even her mother was gone from her life and she was practically alone save for the friend she had found in Lavenderskies. She couldn't exactly tell whether she thought of the gray and white molly as a friend or a mother figure but she filled the void that was left within Shark when she parted ways with her biological family.

The young chausie's thoughts ran a million miles an hour, her previous saunter slowing into a sort of uncertain walk until she was halted by the sound of a deep voice. Without even looking she could already tell that it would most likely be a very large feline judging by the low baritone of the voice. And if he wanted to start a fight then she definitely couldn't win, even with the things she learned from her dear mother. Ears twitching she slowly turned to face the heavily scarred tabby. He looked just as bad as she did, if not worse, save for the fact that he could talk without grunting in pain.

She hadn't expect him to ask such an odd question though. Lifting an imaginary brow she blinked slowly as if processing his words. Who were her parents? That was kind of creepy. Shoulders stiffening slightly she spoke softly as to avoid opening her mouth too much and tearing the slowly scabbing wounds and inevitable scars, "I'm sure I look like a lot of your old friends, we are cats, we tend to look the same," she retorted softly with a simple shrug before sighing through her nose. "But if it will satisfy you my parents ar-were Cougarstar and Sheo-" she trailed off as she finally processed what he had said. Back when he was Sheogorath? What the hell did that mean? "I'm sorry, what do you mean back when you were Sheogorath?"

Cougarstar and Sheogorath. His theory had been, surprisingly, correct. It was a shock to his system, the moment she spoke their names, the name of his former self, and the BloodClan tyrant's brief love affair. But the stranger, who was now his family, no doubt, had caught on to his former words, and now a question was upon her barbed tongue, drifting into the shadows with a firmness. He supposed she deserved an explanation.

"I'm Sheogorath. Well, not anymore. I'm Nathanos now. Sheogorath died. But I'm him reborn. Totally different cat on the outside, but we're one in the same on the inside. I'm not yer father, I'm not Sheogorath, but I used to be. I'm his grandson now. Weird, right? But hey, we're family! What's yer name?" Nathanos inquired boldly, his curious voice slithering from between jagged rows of lethal teeth.

  • Pale olive eyes narrowed, the slight glimmer of kindness that had been in them retreating into suspicion and displeasure at his words. This fellow, claiming that he had been her father once upon a time. She didn't know how she felt about that. Actually, she did know how she felt about that. She didn't like it. Here he was, someone she had only ever heard stories about, popping into her life now claiming that he had at one point been her biological father. It was a lot to take in. If it was true that is. "You were Sheogorath?" She lifted an imaginary brow as she spoke. "If you're him then I must be Doestar or something," she retorted sarcastically with a frown.

Looking to the side she sighed, now he wanted to know her name. "Right family, sure. Fine, I'll tell you my name, It's Shark," she answered after a long moment of silence. Refraining from looking him in the face she continued to stare off to the side. Whipping back around to face him she spoke, "Prove that you were Sheogorath. Tell me something, I don't know just something that could prove you were him."

Her sarcasm only served to amuse the tom. He wouldn't take offense to her apparent disbelief, it was only natural. Reincarnation wasn't something that was commonly known to happen, after all, and someone like Shark would have little reason to believe in its existence.

"Nice name! Shark. I was once called Tiger, when I was a warrior. Tigersparks, actually. Have you thought about a clan name? Yer mother called herself Cougarblood fer a time, after she became deputy of BloodClan." Nathanos chuckled lightly, a fondness carving into his mind as the memory resurfaced.

Her next words made his tail twitch with some amount of agitation. He had no real, physical proof that he was who he used to be.

"Sorry lass, I don't exactly know what I could say to ya that would convince ya of my former identity. Whether or not you believe me, well, that's up to you! I can say one thing to ya, though. Most of BloodClan knows. It's not a big secret, and most seemed to have accepted it. Not all, heh, poor Artemis. But most!" The hefty tabby tom meowed with amusement and certainty.
