Muse A is one of a small population of superheroes (how they developed their powers is up to whoever plays them). The moment they found out about their powers, a strong sense of moral justice was innate within them. Muse A trained their powers daily on the crime-infested streets where they lived. A superhero the people called them. The sole protector of their city, Muse A juggled highschool life with their nightly activities but it didn't stop them from getting into a well-known college. While living in the dorms, this is where Muse B comes in. Muse B is a villain (whether they have powers or not is up to whoever plays them), a particularly good villain. They came into notoriety around their highschool years too in an impoverished city. As the most formidable of Muse A's foes and Muse A's archenemy, the two of them hate one another with a passion out in the streets. However, by some strange "coincidence", Muse B also gets into the same well-known college as Muse A. The two of them find themselves living next to one another, and there is immediate chemistry; so much that they hit things off right away and become extremely close. However, neither knows the others true identity. There will be times when Muse A/Muse B leaves all of a sudden and comes back bruised or injured (from stopping or committing crime), and the other one will help bandage them or take care of them.

TLDR; Muse A and Muse B are your classic superhero/villain archenemy trope in their city. However, they still need to live their daily lives so they head off to college and find themselves right next to each other in the dorms. There's an immediate chemistry between them, and they hit things off. During the daytime, the two are close friends, and maybe something more, but at night, they despise one another.

In a kingdom far away from prying eyes and long forgotten, there lay a well of magic. This well has granted a specific set of humans and their descendants the ability to do and see things previously unthought of like monsters and what lies in the dark. As a result of this well, their blood is highly infused with magic, and many monsters desire it. To protect themselves, this line of humans became hunters, rigorously studying the pitfalls of each unnatural species. They protected the kingdom and were granted noble titles and even became the monarchs. Muse A is one such royal human gifted with the ability to see past the facades monsters apply and to perform magic. During their time, a plague has swept through kingdom, bringing waste to the people and their supply of magic. Muse B, on the other hand, is a normal human peasant except for one key fact; they are the only one impervious to the disease. Whoever brought the plague on them using dark magic has also created monsters to hunt down Muse B. As Muse A discovers their immunity, they force Muse B to come along with them on a hunt for a way to salvage what little will remain of the kingdom, but time is running out as Muse A discovers they've been infected.

TLDR; Muse A is a human of elite social status gifted with the ability to see past the glamours of monsters and command magic to their will. They come from a long line of hunters, but when a plague comes into the kingdom that strikes down both human and monster, Muse A desperately seeks a cure to protect themselves and the people. Muse B is a normal human peasant except for their immunity to the plague. Muse A recognizes this and forces Muse B to come discover a cure with them; however, Muse A must protect Muse B along the way as the creator of plague seeks to kill the only person that could even create a cure for the disease. Time is running out though as Muse A is infected.
