"All cats old enough to catch their own prey, join before the Root for a clan meeting!"

The familiar voice of the silver tabby would ring across the clearing as the new leader, Moonstar, sat regally on the meeting root awaiting her clan to appear before her. Her golden gaze would mirror that of the sun that shone boldly over head. The day had been warm, a soft breeze moving through their home that caused the trees overhead to whisper soothingly among their leaves.

Once her clanmates were before her she would meow clearly, "It is time for this weeks ceremonies. Today, apprentices will become warriors, kits will become apprentices, and promotions will be made." She would look out through the crowds before she smiled, "Laurelpaw, Stonepaw, please step forward." Once the pair were seated before her she would look towards the sky, the mid day sun making her gaze appear more lively and authoritative, "I, Moonstar, leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn."

She would return her gaze to the pair, offering them both a smile proud smile, "Laurelpaw, Stonepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

She would wait for the pair to answer, her gaze seeming to look more into Laurelpaw as if asking her if she was truly ready to make this kind of commitment.

Sorry for the wait everyone! Hoping to get alot done at this meeting so thank you all for bearing with me.

  • ❝ THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE IN ME, JUST WAITING TO BREAK FREE ❞

Cole was quick to arrive - her eyes pale and cold, yet alight with awe. This would be her first meeting as a warrior - and it would be interesting to see if anything was... different with her new perspective.

❝ YOU LAUGH AND SMILE AT ME, BUT YOU DON'T SAY A THING ❞

  • At the call for a meeting, Flameseeker padded over to listen in. Her wounds were healing nicely, which was nice. She was grateful for Shimmerpaw finding her. The tabby took a seat next to her daughter, and pressed her nose to the new warrior’s shoulder.

🔺🔻🔺 Crimsonpaw smiled seeing his sister become a warrior. Laurelpaw deserved this and more. Quietly he sat to the side, listening as Moonstar began the ceremony. Who would've thought that he'd see his eldest kin up there and not his father? Glancing to the far back, he knew the one-eyed tom was watching over the clan from the shadows.

    I won’t cry anymore

  • stonepaws dull eyes were boring into the sky when she heard her sister call. she blankly carried herself towards the new leader; mixing herself into the other crowd of cats. when she heard her name called, she opened her eyes.

“Me?” she whispered to herself. her soft white paws took careful, gracious steps as she made her way beside Laurelpaw.

her tail was a soft bush of feathers waving nervously behind her. the world turned in slow motion- she was going to be a warrior.

and yet she still couldn't find the motivation to get out of bed.

now she would have to struggle around the adults of the clan instead of the younger members.

everyone was going to see more than ever how dull and empty she was.

instinctively she pressed her side into Laurelpaw, turning her head sideways to give her worthy sister a genuine smile. her sister had come so far— lost more than stonepaw could imagine, and still was bright eyed and cheerful. waiting eagerly to become a proud member of the clan.

“Yes.” she mewed, her dark eyes focusing on Moonstar again.

  • blackstorm was proud of all his children. one stood proud as a leader while the two were awaiting their warrior names. smiling softly, he knew stonepaw was still struggling after the abrupt death of her littermate, but he knew that somehow she'd be able to make it and live a life on her own. silently he urged them on, wishing them luck and strngth. laurelpaw, his youngest daughter. she has become a warrior at last. fighting a long period of illness and overcoming the many obstacles of growing up, it was bittersweet. he wanted her to stay that same loving little kitten forever. wanted to finally raise her and be by her side as he promised when she was born. but to no avail. he'd put his clan first and pushed aside his family. something he promised his dead mate fern he would never do. but after facing death so many times, he knew it was time to step down and breath. his family needed him more than a clan did his terrible leadership. watching his daughters with pride, he felt his chest puff out as he watched them beside his mate.

  • OOC: Cottontail is a chimera, known as Blaze and Cloud separately. Chimera cats form when two embryos in the mother's womb collide with each other and fuse into one cat. Kinda like simese twins but you can't tell they are two cats. Look it up it's pretty cool!

Blaze started stretching but half of her body was too groggy to move. Wake up Cloud, we need to get up, Blaze thought to her sister with eyes still closed. The sisters shook themselves once more before opening their eyes. They were shocked to find empty nests all around them.

Had no one bothered to wake us up?Cloud thought. She could feel Blazes irritation. It felt as if it was noon already, though they couldn't be sure. Usually they were awake far earlier than this. Cloud scolded herself for being late and together Cottontail slipped out of the warriors den.

There the ceremonies had just started. They weren't late this time!! Cloud felt excited! Her sister on the other paw wasn't so ecstatic. Blaze wanted to be in tree cut place, learning and strategizing against the twolegs.

While watching the warrior ceremony, Cottontail couldn't help but feel a tad bit of nostalgia. Sometimes they wished they had never found out they were two cats instead of one, it would of been so much simpler. But Cottontail also couldn't deny having found comfort in themselves.

    Cloud + Blaze = Cottontail:D

  • Pale green eyes shining with excitement, Laurelpaw stepped up to stand in front of Moonstar, Stonepaw at her side and long overdue a warrior name. She felt her half-sister press into Laurelpaw's flank, and the slim she-cat returned the gesture, excitement buzzing like bees under her skin. Laurelpaw could feel Sunspots' proud gaze on her back, and she wanted to thank her mentor for helping her get here, helping her develop the skills she had to today, for being patient and attentive. Leveling her gaze with her half-sister, the new leader of ThunderClan, Laurelpaw nodded her affirmative, voicing proudly, "Yes, I do." Today was the day she would become a warrior at last.

  • SOMEONE TOSS ME A ROPE —

Stormpaw was there, and took a seat next to his sister and mother. He smiled at them and then turned his gaze to the apprentices who were becoming warriors. Both deserving of the titles. Especially Stonepaw, who he had discovered was some sort of tree-climbing legend. Definitely warrior material, he thought to himself.

Once the pair gave their confirmations, Moonstar would smile and meow proudly, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Laurelpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Laureltwist. StarClan honors your kindness and persistance. Stonepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Stonecloud, Starclan honors your intelligence and loyalty and we welcome you as full warriors of Thunderclan."

She give her clan a moment to cheer for their new clanmates and once they were seated, she would meow learly, "Today, we will also be welcoming Blackstorm into the rank of Senior warrior. And,"

She would hold a small hint of a smile on her maw as she nodded, "I will be announcing my choice for deputy."

"I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Thunderclan is Flameseeker."

    //

    FLAMESEEKER -

    Congrats kiddo!

  • Cottontail called out the new Warrior names alongside her clanmates, just as what happened with her ceremony. Looking around for Flameseeker, Cottontail rushed to congratulate the new deputy.

  • stone’s entire feathery body leaned with her head as she nodded at her naming. Stonecloud.

something about her felt older. the weight of existing seemed to crumble off of her shoulders. the world was still spinning slowly. her sister beside her was radiating warmth. “Congrats, Laureltwist.” she mewed softly and emphasized the last part of her name. Stone’s smile was wide. she was proud of her sisters. both of them, she thought as she looked and admired how wise Moonstar looked.

bringing herself out of her own world, she put one of her paws on Laureltwist’s head playfully. “I’m still older.” she pretended to boast.

Flameseeker. that was the name of the cat she had seen in the medicine den. hadn’t it been her son that Stone got down from a tree? he was a character— his mother the same. friendly and lively now that she was awake.

she mewed her congratulations, listening to it melt into the other voices.

  • Feeling satisfaction swell in her chest like a bubble ready to burst, Laurelp-twist let her new name wash over her. She turned it over and over in her mind for a few moments and was about to try out how it sounded on her own tongue instead of Moonstar's when Stonepaw - nope Stonecloud - gave her congratulations. Laureltwist. It was perfect, she loved it. Pale green gaze flicking to her half-sister, Laureltwist purred and flicked her tail towards Stonecloud and gave her a nod in return.

"Congratulations to you too, Stonecloud. You've more than earned this." Melting back into the ranks of the Clan, new name in place, Laureltwist looked around for her mother and father, hoping to catch them before her silent vigil needed to take place beside Stonecloud.

  • Blackstorm nodded when she had called upon him to become a senior warrior once more. His smiled reached his eyes as Laureltwist and Stonecloud were called. Both his younger daughters were receiving their warrior name. It would only be a short while before his youngest son would join them as well. Hearing his younger friend Flameseeker called up as the new deputy, he could't help but feel prouder. Flameseeker was a strong candidate even back then as she is now. The both of them will go far he was sure.

Noticing Laureltwist he gave her a bright smile. She made them both proud, they all had come a long way.

    "i wait for the morning."

  • As Laureltwist and Stonecloud were given their warrior names, Flameseeker joined the clan in chanting their names. She couldn't help but suddenly feel old. She could remember Laureltwist when she was still a kit. Actually, now that she thought about it, she could recall when nearly all of her clanmates were still kits. Starclan, how old was she?

Once the cheering died down, Moonstar moved on to the next topic. Blackstorm was now a senior warrior. She agreed with the promotion, especially since he was still a warrior. He would be a good asset to the team. She cheered the former leader's name, then looked back up at the silver tabby. A small smile flashed across the leader's face, and she narrowed her eyes curiously. I will be announcing my choice for deputy. Her heart fluttered for a moment at the thought of becoming the next deputy, but she quickly pushed it down. She had only just returned, there was no way she would be a candidate. Rosewater or Coldnose would definitely get the position. She smiled, waiting for her the young warrior or her daughter's name to be called, but instead she was met with a surprise. The new deputy of Thunderclan is Flameseeker. Her eyes widened notably, and she made a rather abrupt cough noise. Wait, her? She was the next deputy? Surely not. Maybe Moon just confused her with another clanmate.

She waited a few moments for the silver tabby to correct herself, but instead she was faced with the majority of her clanmates staring at her. Oh Starclan. "..Me..?" she stammered out finally, embarrassment flooding over her. She sounded like a mouse brain. "I-I..Thank you." Was her mother watching now? Or Coldthroat?

    🔺🔻🔺 thats my mentor!

Crimsonpaw was proud of his sisters, but what made him more proud was the fact that only a few days prior Flameseeker was made his mentor. Flameseeker was not only a capable senior warrior, but from the stories his father had shared of their younger days, the orange molly was more than suited for the position. Fierce and passionate about protecting her clan above all and true to the code. She was a role model he was glad to have around.

"Laureltwist! Stonecloud!" the apprentice said, cheering for the new warriors. He was beaming, caught up in the moment. But then Moonstar began to speak again and he quieted down. Blackstorm was a senior warrior, of course. It was a given.

Then another announcement was made, and Stormpaw held his breath without even noticing that he was doing it. Flame... Flameseeker was deputy? As the realization dawned on him his face broke out into a huge smile.

"Oh my... oh my gosh, mom! Congrats!" the boy said, aiming to headbutt her shoulder affectionately. He loved his mother so much, and she definitely deserved this. She was one of the wisest and most experienced warriors around, and he loved her for it.

Once the cheers died down, Moonstar would move her tail for silence as she continued, "I also wanted to use this meeting to address some issues that I have been noticing in terms of respect and obedience within our ranks." She would make sure she had every cats attention before she meowed, "We are a clan bound by a code of living. The rules of these codes are not merely suggestions. They are what define us and separate us from the loners. As such, it disappoints me that I need to remind our kits and apprentices that you are not allowed to leave camp, the only exception to this rule is for the apprentices when they are with their mentors or another warrior. Any apprentices caught outside of camp will be punished accordingly. Kits who are caught out of camp, if the forest and its' dangers do not kill them first, will have their apprentice ceremonies postponed indefinitely."

"Secondly, Thunderclan will no longer be open borders and auto join. Any cats who wish to join must be approved by me first, and any cat who wishes to join but blatantly ignore our clear borders and step into our territory are expected to be chased off."

She would look out over the camp, giving every cat a moment to let her news sink in before continuing, "There is only one cat, who will not be held to the Warrior Codes' standards, and that is Heatherbloom for obvious reasons."
