  • He had gotten a task... and Hurricane had given him... flower picking? Not only that, but he needed to find one of each color for the rainbow. It sounded so childish... did Hurricane not think he could handle a more demanding task? Was he supposed to do when he found them all? Throw them away? Show them off? No one would actually care... he had decided to ignore the task for a few days as he figured it wasn't worth his time. But he had gotten bored on this hot and sunny day, so... yes he found himself submitting to the task and looking around camp for flowers.

He had managed to find red. The first color. There had been a small red tulip patch growing near the outskirts of camp... and yes maybe in order to get it he did have to take a few paw-steps out of camp but he went straight back! So technically he wasn't breaking any codes and no one had a reason to yell at him. Violet had been easy, he had found lavender. But all the colors in between? Hrng... did someone wanna... like... help him look for them. Well once he began his daily tantrum over something petty someone probably would to get him to stop his screaming.

"UGH! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE ALL THE STUPID FLOWERS ARE? I CAN ONLY FIND RED AND PURPLE ONES." Sure there was mom's whole flower thing she had going on by the nursery, but he had watched her put work into decorating the place up. Even Lambkit would feel bad for destroying it.

  • »»» Leafkit hadn’t bothered picking up a task, a little anxious to find out what she would receive, even though she knew that as a kitten, her task would not be hard at all. However, that didn’t mean she couldn’t help someone else’s and Lambkit’s current mission seemed easy enough. She wanted to help out with that. Padding over, Leafkit put on a little smile. “I can help you, Lambkit. I don’t know where we could find them but I can help you look,” she offered her brother, with a wave of her plumed tail. It would give her something to do. She didn’t want to just sit around all day, but playing ‘warriors’ with the other kits just wasn’t on her agenda.

  • As he awaited a response, with narrowed eyes the feline would continue to search around camp... Yellow? Orange? Blue? Green? Then he heard the voice of his sister and immediately his gaze traveled over to her. Lambkit could be a big meany head admittedly... but he had a soft spot for his family. Especially his litter-mates... and er of course mom and dad. Oh, hi Leafkit!" He greets the she-kit with a soft smile in return before nodding. "Okay! Great! Thanks! I found red and blue already. Hurricanepaw told me to find all the colors of the rainbow."

He wasn't too sure where to look... "Have you seen any green, orange, blue or yellow ones around? I don't wanna bother by the nursery, mom and some others worked real hard planting em and decorating."

  • Juniperpaw watched the young kits playing with a narrowed gaze- not a gaze narrowed in hostility, though. No, he was simply fascinated by their trivial ways of enjoying themselves, ways he had not been able to understand when he was a kit. He was frankly surprised that he hadn't become as fat as a kitty pet back when he was Juniperkit, considering that he hardly ever moved or played with any of the other children. It was probably because next to no-one liked him thanks to his way of... driving people away.

"You could always raid Brookfur's den, I'm sure she has plenty of flowers in there." he joked sarcastically, gesturing to the medicine cats den. If for whatever reason they thought he was being serious, the cinnamon boy stood in their way, ready to stage an intervention if his teasing landed scrappily.

  • "do green floweres even exist? Spiderpaw would ask in an annoyed tone from nearby, before vivid green eyes would peer down at the kits. He would then stretch his spindly legs, tail lashing once or twice, and sigh "Whatever... I'll help you look. He was pretty limited in his activities anyways, so why not help some hapless kits? Not to mention there was a teeny, tiny, insy-weensy part of him locked away somewhere that admitted that maybe, just maybe, he enjoyed kits... perhaps even wanted some of his own some day.
