  • Tiny paws carried the curly furred feline to the outskirts of camp, dim golden orbs shone with curiosity and awe as he gazed into the lush forest. He couldn't wait to become an apprentice! He couldn't wait! He'd be able to hunt... fight... and help SkyClan out for once instead of sitting around uselessly. He was tired of playing games and tired of mom scooping him up the moment stars were visible in the sky, putting him in his nest and telling him to go to sleep. No no no no no! He hated it so much! Once he was an apprentice no one but his mentor could tell him what to do! Speaking of which... he was hoping mom would make sure he'd get someone good....

Then again... was there much for warriors in SkyClan? Er... maybe by the time he was an apprentice one of his brothers like Mantisflower, Spiderpaw, or Berylbreeze could train him! That'd be super cool! But then again, having someone that wasn't family would be nice too. As long as they let him do what he wanted to do.

"SkyClan's been so boring recently..." Bluntly comments the kit rather loudly. "Can we spice up life in the camp somewhat please? I'm about to die of boredom... Someone tell a really cool story, a funny joke, anything please... just anything..." He groans dramatically as he begins to wonder off into the center of camp, a bored expression is blatantly plastered on his face.

//lame intro hes kinda a brat oops

  • Hearing the kid's loud complaint, Juniperpaw scoffed under his breath- he was far enough away that the child would not have heard him, but the aftermath of his burst of frustration was probably sorely evident on his face. The apprentice padded over to his adopted brother, eyeing his with a narrowed gaze of grey-green. "Newsflash, kid, being a kit is boring. Nothing you can do about it." he said abruptly, shrugging his shoulders. It was the truth of the matter, really, something every Clan cat had to deal with in their lifetime. Juniperpaw had been bitter even as a kit because of his lack of imagination and unwillingness to socialise- he had been too mature for his age back then, and in a way he regretted being so stoic. "And don't even consider sneaking out of camp to mom will give you an earful."

It was all the same wishes, wasn't it, from kits. 'I want to be an apprentice!' 'Oh, I can't wait to be a warrior!' 'Please can I be an apprentice early?' It was tough shit, in Juni's opinion. And he wished they wouldn't complain so much.

// ic opinions obvs... i love him already UWU

  • MOTHPAW

    Skyclan - Apprentice - Female - 9 moons

Mothpaw spent a lot less time near the nursery since Junierpaw has been apprentices a few moons ago. Had it already been multiple moons? Time seemed to have been going by so quickly lately. However, Skyclan's numbers were small but it seemed their kit population was growing. It was hard not to run into a tiny feline or two around camp. The molly didn't mind though--she could usually keep up with kits abundance of energy. She approached Lambkit and Juniperpaw, amusement glimmering in her amber gaze. "Well, it's only a problem if you get caught!" She chirped jokingly, flicking the cinnamon tom's ear playfully with her tail. "Don't...don't actually sneak out. I don't Lavenderskies would be very happy with me if she knew I was encouraging that." She added hurriedly after a few heartbeats with a sheepish smile towards the kit. She had only ever made that attempt once when she still resided in the nursery and she hadn't made it very far at all. Skyclan had always seemed exceedingly safe in her mind but to a kit...there was probably plenty of danger they could get into. She understood being discouraged. She absolutely detested being confined to camp. Even as an apprentice she'd get a bit grouchy if she didn't get out enough. "On the bright side, not being able to leave camp gives you plenty to look forward to for when you can!" She offered, hoping Lambkit wasn't feeling too crestfallen about his predicament.

  • ”You should only sneak if your with an apprentice or warrior. That way it’s not as dangerous.” Hurricanepaw had seen the little buddy with his curly fur and dark gray tufts. He was a cute baby, the name matched just how cute he was. “You want a story?” Cane tapped his paw on the floor while flicking his tail. He didn’t have many stories but he did remember one of the stories his father had told him. “One time, the greatest warrior that had ever lived in Skyclan, was in battle. It was a skirmish against some rogues near Bloodclan. His fur was flaming red, blowing in the wind caused by the monster’s roaring by. It was sun kissed, his chest a golden mane. It was just supposed to be a regular border patrol, but they caught about 4 males and 1 female by the border stealing prey. It was winter time, so prey was scarce and they needed anything possible. They tried to solve it peacefully but the rogues just jumped at them. 3 rogues died that morning and the entire patrol had to spend a week in the medicine den. There was even one apprentice who lost an entire paw of claws. That’s why you got to be careful when you leave the camp.” Cane scratched at the floor for a moment. ”Was that appropriate for a kit?” He asks the others with a slight look of embarrassment. He wasn’t great at this kit thing was he?
