  • oh yes!!! the idea of everyone having a chance to go dark is really good and y'all are right it offers great opportunity for character development, heartache, and trust! it will be interesting to see how everyone responds to a specific person.

altai omg im seeing it now. the whole time he was going undercover for the villain and to infiltrate the team. thats also why hes so mean and distant at first. as time goes on, they all trust each other and form emotional connects and thats when calder is called to betray the team. of course this is awful and hurts everyone (especially blair yikes) but then bc y'know...character development...he actually turns on the villain he was sent by in favor of the team bc of them all being friends now etc. also maybe because blair catches him for a moment and talks some sense into him??

idk just a thought of what i envisioned when i read your idea for him! lmk what your thoughts are

  • altai if Cal betrayed the team after Morgan starts to trust him and become comfy with him, he'd be so sad, and probably blame himself for not seeing it coming.

butter_cup there's so much self-loathing in this one kid alone. He needs all the love he can get.

SUGAR. What should their first mission be? I feel like we kinda threw out a bunch of big-time plots, and maybe a smaller one would be better to start things off?

Also a side-note, I might post a little list of tidbits about Morgan that aren't in his form. Emphasis on might.

  • alphabet... Kiara shall make sure to give him all the hugs and snacks

altai awww if Cal was working for the villian from the beginning Kiara is going to be so sad because she opened up to him and actually really liked him and she doesn’t open up to people easily like that

  • i feel like it would be very canon-typical for cal to be siding with the villain at first and be undercover to infiltrate and give his "boss" information on the young justice group. as time goes on, though, he finds that he's actually genuinely coming to like these dumb ass kids he's stuck with and grow attached to them (scary!!!). so that's when his boss sends him new orders, as in to reveal himself and simultaneously betray his entire team. he does as told, but yes as shit hits the fan blair can punch or talk some sense into cal and he ends up switching to the hero side to help his friends. then he has to rebuild their trust again after he turned on them all. SUGAR. @everyone else too ig

  • altai i think an interesting plot point, and feel free to veto, would be for isab’la to be a little wary of cal or sumthin. maybe she got a quick glimpse into his mind on accident and isn’t too sure what it was but thinks it’s bad news bears? might create a bit of tension

  • aha this is good. i want everyone to hate cal after he gained their trust and then the boy gets all miserable bc he is doubtful if what he chose is worth it/the right thing. SUGAR.   butter_cup   alphabet...

i like that a lot! cal would have definitely gotten some prior training on how to hide his thoughts from isab'la if she ever chose to use her power on him. after that, yeah, it gets tense between them and stays that way until after The Big Reveal where isab'la can say "i knew it" or some shit lmao. kdiggy

  • tubig had to remove her reservation bc she was just too busy so i re-opened it to the public!

if you guys know of anyone who would want to join please let them know!

  • hey guys just popping in to say im about to go on vacation to nyc until wednesday june 19th so i will be very inactive until then! but once i get back we will start the rp!!!

~also warning now i will be leaving for a camp retreat june 24-29 and will not be on at all during that week~

  • hey guys im back from nyc!

i'm gonna go make the rp thread now! so do we want them to start off being taken to mount justice to meet their new teammates? we can say they've already been informed about whats going on so they arent exactly clueless.

  • that sounds like a good place to start! let's just try to get their introductions and moving in over with quick because that kills muse so quick

  • yes i agree. maybe it would be better if they were already acquainted with eachother? so they know who eachother are because you know, they don't live under a rock. and they are educated on their justice league members + sidekicks so we can basically start out with a first mission assignment?
