    SUGAR.   butter_cup ok ok, forgive me if this is intruding on the plotting, but like, I can just imagine Morgan in the middle of this. Blair and Kiara both seem to trust him quite a bit and I can see them both coming to talk to him about their feelings for Cal and then ranting about the other girl. And Morgan would try his best but he's lowkey infuriated because it's Cal and he doesn't understand how anyone could have feelings for him, because Morgan thinks Cal is a terrible person

    alphabet... that cracks me up so much haha and no need to apologize! oh if blair ever did open up to morgan about her feelings for cal, he better think he is hot shit because she wouldn't trust just anyone with those thoughts! but yes expect her to rant about kiara on occasion but it not lasting but two sentences about how annoying she is followed by a "come train with me so i can get my anger out." and then a reluctant "...please..."

    hey guys! tubig got back to me and said that she’s been swamped with finals this week so i’m holding her spot until friday! she should have her form up by then so we can get started on the rp friday!

    holy shit okay first of all thanks for all the cal appreciation lajdbfncncb and secondly i’m sorry i’ve been gone all day wednesday’s are always so busy for me so i had no time to get to a pc to check ff (hence why i’m mobile woo)


    bUT i might’ve lowkey forgot cal was asexual and that might,,, change because it’s hindering angsty plots lmao. maybe he’ll be more graysexual as he gets holed up with these teenagers. you can only imagine how wild those hormones are running ok.


    i’m here for any and all ships tbh and i’m cackling at the idea of morgan having to sit through kiara AND blair venting to him about cal, his literal enemy omg SUGAR.   butter_cup   alphabet...


    altai Morgan might explode, to be honest. He'd probably flip a table at some point, or eventually resign his time to the training room/lock himself in his bedroom until the three of them sort something out. I'm also starting to headcanon that Morgan can't swim and is lowkey afraid of water, and it partially fuels his hatred for Cal because he can literally do what he sees as the one thing he can't, without a single issue. AND, if you're here for any and all ships, I also see Morgan also developing a crush on Calder after some point ( though not after a long time ) probably because he went to a movie with some school friends where rivals became lovers and things get all screwed up in his hormonal brain?? It could pass or linger, but it'd be another shade of angst for Morgan and a weird addition to what could be an overly complicated eventual friendship.


    Also at SUGAR. I know he's a TT villain, but what if the Young Justice face Control Freak, or another, weaker reality-altering villain? I was thinking about various prompts and plot lines that may work for the group, and I like the idea of the team waking up one day and suddenly being the most popular hero team in the world, with like talk-shows and charities and licensing deals, etc, until they realize that there are suddenly a lot of really awful parts to this new life and things stop making sense and they've got to deal with that?? Or, with a similar villain, there's a role reversal where they're suddenly the criminals and villains are the heroes.


    Other plot ideas I was thinking of were like

    + something goes wrong and part of the team ends up in prison

    + an accident at Gotham Academy that forces some of the team to reveal their secret identities to each other, for those who wanted to keep more private

    + perhaps Aries shows up to wreak havoc on Blair??

    + a 'cure' for superpowers, that threatens the powered members of the team

    + superheroes become illegal

    + hhhh I'm a sucker for the age-old plot line where a teammate dies, comes back as a damaged husk/villain, until they get a redemption arc

    + referring to above, corruption from another power or some sort of blackmail turns a team member into a temporary villain

    + small time heroes are going missing, some turn up dead ( it's a case!! )

    + small-time, fun, cozy plots for the group like movie nights, days at the beach, a fair maybe?? ( something would probably go wrong in the middle though and interrupt their time )

    + system failures due to a storm at the base that causes multiple electronic functions to fail ( maybe a couple people get trapped in an elevator together, the lower levels start flooding, etc )


    Obviously none of these have to be used, I was just thinking and these came to mind.

    okay alphabet... you are simply brilliant. I cannot express how much I love every one of your ideas!! we will certain incorporate all of them at some point.


    as for control freak, YJ can totally fight him as technically they are all sort of in the same universe? haha any DC villain is up for them to fight. I love the idea of them waking up as famous celeb heroes, that just seems hilarious!


    i’m currently about to be at act prep but once i’m done for today I will certainly piggy back of those ideas more in depth and share with y’all some i’ve thought of for the team!!


    also butter_cup & altai if you guys are down for a love triangle i’m down for a love triangle. that’s all i’m gonna say about that ;)


    also alphabet... I feel so bad for morgan aw, blair’s gonna feel bad too ahhhh

    hi guys! so sorry for my inactivity these past few days! i've been working on moving to a completely new state but I should be getting more active about now C:

    if cal ever found out that morgan couldn't swim, the poor boy would never hear the end of it from cal. finally, something that the atlantean is better at than morgan and there's no competition there. dear god my heart melted at the thought of poor morgan also developing a crush on cal. he's the man to like, apparently, even though he's a literal piece of royal shit. it doesn't help that cal is absolutely brutal to morgan every hour of the day, so let the angst ensue. i just wanted to say i fukcking love all of these plot ideas you've come up with. alphabet...  


    alas, let the love triangle commence! give cal some time, though, he's a tough boy to penetrate (if you catch my wind, heh) butter_cup   SUGAR.

    Just a quick heads up, I'll be gone the ninth through the fourteenth at a band camp. I'm going to take my laptop with me and hopefully post at night, when I get back from classes and such, but expect me to be a little slow to replying during that time.


    Another plot idea that came to mind is one of the team members go missing and it's up to the rest of the team to figure out what happened.

    altai oh this is just too much fun! i'm so excited to actually get these ideas rolling! *and witness angsty lovesick superpowered teens try to deal with their emotions*


    also to piggyback off of alphabet... here are some add-ons + new plots i've been thinking of...drop your thoughts abt them below bbys


    +aries showing up to wreak havoc on blair is definitely an option. i can see this happening a little later, but possibly his influence makes the team turn against each other and blair has to take him down before things get worse? cause when he's around he influences war so maybe he could try and infiltrate the team by appearing as a younger teen hero ??


    +the system failure idea reminded me of the young justice episode titled homefront (i believe) where red tornados "siblings" come and attack the cave controlling fire and water. they trap the people already there an the two that happen to be out come in to see the destruction and have to find a way to save their friends without getting caught themselves.


    +def days at the beach (since there is one right outside their front door) for team bonding. i imagine intense volleyball matches. (the other ideas of a fair and movie nights sound perfect as well. just to distract from all the drama and fighting!)


    +they have to go undercover on a traveling circus as an acrobatic act since everywhere the circus stops, there are robberies. not just any robberies, but ones where valuable tech is stolen. their mission to try and figure out who the thief is and put a stop to his/her plan. (based off episode performance season 1)


    +the team is going through a training session that is designed for them to fail. martian manhunter telepathically links all members into a fake reality to go about this mission training. going in, they all know that it's not real. their mission is to save the world from an alien invasion after the justice league is terminated but when (insert one of our characters here) dies, isab'la ( kdiggy ) was so shocked that her mind takes over, making everyone forget it wasn't real so they think everyone that dies is really dead. we play it out til only isab'la is left and she is shocked out of it. it takes a huge toll on the team causing black canary to set up therapy sessions. (based off episode failsafe season 1)


    +the team goes on a covert mission but their cover is blown and someone gets seriously injured and almost dies


    +the team is split in half, three going to fight cheshire in one location and three going to fight sportsmaster in another. both villains are scheming something bigger and each have a case with a certain object inside they are trying to deliver. our heroes need to make sure that delivery never happens.

    I'll get opinions up soon! I've been trying to get caught up on all the threads that I've missed and it's hard work, lemme tell ya!

    the plotting looks sososososo good! you guys are amazing at coming up with ideas. i feel like it would be interesting to see isab'la go to a dark side for a moment bc of some mental trauma from a mission or something (like SUGAR. said). might lead to her hardening up a little once she becomes more grounded and such. also, conflict for the team which I'm always for lmao

    if any of you guys have a plot idea that had to do with her lmk. I'll start thinking of some overarching ones as well but I'm not as good at that as you guys!

    I feel like if someone were to be mind controlled into going dark (or maybe even manipulated like Robin was by Slade on teen titans) it would be interesting to see it be either Kiara or Blair since power wise they would be the two strongest on the team so it would be harder to contain them

    I would also argue that isab'la is among to most powerful on the team as far as basic abilities go being incredibly similar to a kryptonian and such. I kinda see good character development with her going dark, but if another route is taken she would probably be the key to getting her teammate out of the darkness due to her telepathy and such C:

    i agree that our three gals pack quite a big punch in their own unique ways!! for character development, i think it would be best for isab'la because of her personality and vast telekinetic abilities. but also being such a strong telepathic ability it would take a lot to corrupt her via mind control, so i guess it would depend on who we choose to do the corrupting? either way it would be hard on the team to help whoever is picked.

    butter_cup ok ok, if Kiara were to go dark side and it took more than one try to "fix" her, Morgan would cry. He wouldn't want to fight her, and he's just a kid, and he'd be so overwhelmed on what actually is the right thing and whatnot.


    SUGAR. Okay, I am loving the plot with Aries and the circus plotlines. But what if we give every hero a chance to go dark-side? It's always one of my favorite plots, and I think it'd be fun to have everyone have a chance at it.

    so i love all of those plots so much. i will always offer cal to be the victim in anything because it is great character development tbh. in regards to one of them turning evil, cal has the easily manipulated personality to change sides if he thinks justice will be served correctly, so it’s easy to get him to switch with a few lies and a changed perspective. it would be a nice, angsty betrayal if he was manipulated after everyone had started trusting each other, especially if his task was to be an inside source for the villains on the league while also maintaining his hero identity until the “big reveal”. SUGAR.


    ooh, I do think that every character having the opportunity to "go dark" (even if that means just in personality or whatnot) would be really good for the changing perspectives they'll have of their teammates as they begin to trust each other more. it also provides plenty of plotting opportunities, too!
