  • It's the middle of a dark night. The strong smell of blood and an infected wound fills the air. Corrin's ears slightly twitch as he struggled to catch his breath. Blood trickled down the side of his face, from a hole on the left side of his head, just above his left eye. He gasped as the blood fell into his sanguine eye, causing him to be temporarily blinded in that eye. Since he couldn't move his aching and tired body much, he ended up taking a step forward and he fell, face-first. Crimson eyes ran over the injuries he was covered in. A large gash on his side, huge claw marks on all of his legs and one he couldn't see, a gash above his left eye. Exhausted, he let his head droop and sleep crashed over him like a black wave.

As he slept, he could've swore he could hear several voices, shouting angrily. "No! Corrin is my brother! He belongs in Hoshido, Nohrian scum!"

    CORRIN ☼ BLIZZARDCLAN

  • Loki wondered how so many people managed to get themselves mangled and captured. Where he’d come from, there was hardly such a thing as life-threatening injury; it was either a cut and scrape here or there, or a blow so heavy that it killed on the battlefield. So, perhaps he was a little jostled when he found the unconscious creature lying bloodied on the beach. He sniffed the stench of copper, regarded the pale newcomer with scrutiny, then placed a paw upon his crumpled frame and looked up at the edge of the island, teleporting them both up to safety.

It was easy to link himself to the minds of BlizzardClan, so he relayed a message to as many as he could since he was not acquainted with their doctors. Injury at the south end of the island, he sent out, peering down at Corrin silently.

  • //hheeehee.. haha.... smash club

lucas would arrive at the smell of blood, concern etched onto his gaze as he ran over. though lucas had been relaxing these past few days, thus being the source of his absence, the young boy was still going to do his job as paladin commander now and then. which, brought him to here in the first place.

"oh, gosh!" lucas called out, clearly concerned, dropping down beside corrin as his eyes grew minty green. pressing his paws to the other's wound (well, one of them), he would say "pk- lifeup!" hopefully easing the pain a small bit with his powers.

as he worked, he would glance back towards loki. an authoritative tone would pass the boy, his title finally peering through the abyss that was his shyness. "what are you doing just standing there? call grayskies!"

  • "Should I go run and get them?" Nadia asked Lucas, running up with a slightly panicked expression. The stench of the joiner and his injuries flooded her senses, and she wanted to make sure she did everything she was supposed to. Having no powers nor any experience with them, the trainee was slightly confused by Lucas's attempt to help, and she missed Loki's completely. She made her way to Loki's side, staring at the joiner and wondering whether speaking to him would make any sense.

  • //don’t worry i luv lucas, loki is just mean

Pale eyes snapped toward the presence of the young lion, calmly observing as the youth fretted over the injured stranger. Loki couldn’t understand how these clans put so much responsibility upon the children of their ranks. Shouldn’t children be students, coddled and protected, and not warlords and advisers? The instance currently was a perfect example of this, as Loki leveled Lucas an incredibly unamused stare. “I already did,” he would attempt to telepathically send to both Lucas and Nadia, an indignant spike running through his ribs.

  • hehheee yes.

Corrin was fast asleep, yet he can hears voices. Voices aside from the ones that argued whose family he was apart of. It was odd. He had no recollection of any moment from the past, nor his family, only his name. "Wake up." He told himself mentally, frustrated he couldn't open his eyes. Feeling some pain from the gash on his side, he sighed in relief and he found the ability to open his eyes. Three, unfamiliar faces surrounding him. Attempting his best to remain calm as possible, Corrin stared towards Lucas, as he was applying pressure to one of his injuries.

"Erm, excuse me. Can you possibly tell me where I am? I, uh, don't remember anything apart from my name, Corrin." He offered a sheepish grin in Lucas' direction, trying to be friendly.

    CORRIN ☼ BLIZZARDCLAN

  • The outside world was a cruel place where you never know what happens, you never know what evil strangers lurk in the dark. Everywhere you go there's a chance you'll get injured or taken away from your family. That's why Cherry never dared to venture outside BlizzardClan's borders but that never stopped her from going close to them. The small pup happened to pass by as blood flooded her senses, alerting her to be on guard. At first she was hesitant to investigate but she managed to get Loki's message which Cherry wandered over incase they needed help. Sadly she wasn't a medic so she couldn't tend towards the strangers wounds so the girl sat this one out, trying to figure out ways to help. As the stranger woke up she couldn't help but feel bad for the other even though he came from the outside world. "You're in BlizzardClan, don't worry though they have barriers. I'm Cherry by the way, nice to meet you Corrin!"

  • Grayskies was there and present, Loki's telepathic call having reached into the depth's of the medic's sensitive mind. It had jerked them out of their studying with an heart-attack and a half before they snatched up their first-aid satchel and came rushing along through the territory as fast as their small paws could carry them. When they arrived, they were huffing, their eyes searching for the one that was injured before they fell upon Corrin. "If you're not helping the injured, back up please." The medic instructed as they step forth, settling at Lucas' side. "Thanks for tending to him while I was away." They muttered briefly in the Paladin Commander's direction before they turn to the injured crimson-eyed male. The scarfed kitsune would sigh quietly, wincing at the wounds inflicted upon the stranger and the strong stench of sanguine. It made them feel sick to their stomach - oh god.

They quickly begin working on the torn up male, retrieving their herbs from their satchel. They began chewing up an small golden flower in their maw until it essentially became a glob of their own saliva and the plant matter and spat it onto their paw. "H-Hey, this might sting a little mister, ah, Corrin, was it?" They pause, hoping to get a nod of confirmation from their patient before they continued, forcing a smile onto their soft features. "Please stay still." They would begin applying the poultice to the various wounds found on Corrin - particularly that of the large gash on his side - before putting whatever was left on the other wounds. To make sure the poultice remained in place, they then pressed cobwebs onto them. The cobwebs also worked to soak up the blood so that none of it made recovery uncomfortable.

Gray would finally take out two small black seeds, poppy seeds, and offered them to Corrin tenderly. "Can you take these? It'll make the pain go away, I promise." Then, their gaze snapped to those who were idling about. "One of you go and prepare a nest for this man here, and hurry."

    BAI-CHEN BREAK R. C. K.

VALOZIAN DRAGON / BLIZZARDCLAN / TAGS & INFO

Ba-Chen had arrived not long after Grey, curious by all the fuss. He watched expressionlessly as they tended to the man, curious to see how they treated a stranger. He'd seen Gray tend to clan-mates before, but never yet a stranger. I mean, there had been himself but he'd barely been awake for most of the procedure. The male was surprised by the worry and panic in everyone as they regarded who was meant to be completely foreign. For all they knew, this man could be an enemy, or someone - say a murderer - who had his comeuppance and deserved his fate to die. But none of them seemed to think that, and none of them stopped helping.

    Hm.

"Ill go make it," Bai-Chen said, surprising himself. Wasn't normally so hands on, especially when it came to creatures he didn't know and thus didn't trust. He'd give the injured man one last glance, before turning and whisking away into the sky, easily flying back to camp faster than any of the others could run.

By the time Grey returned to camp with his patient, a nest would be ready along with fresh water in a bowl and a meal that had been cut into pieces for easier digestion.

    "Speech."

  • As more unfamiliar faces appeared on the scene, a anxious feeling rose in Corrin's stomach yet he attempted to act as if he wasn't uncomfortable. Turning to Cherryblossom, he offered a sincere smile to the younger female as she seemed very friendly, everyone so far seemed very friendly to him despite the fact that he was an outsider and not one of them. "Nice to meet you, miss Cherry!" He exclaimed, still smiling cheerfully before he turned to Grayskies, who appeared to be a medic.

With wary-filled, sanguine eyes, the twelve-month old male watched as the medic began to work, pulling multiple herbs from their satchel. His wariness quickly switched to curiosity as Grayskies turned the golden flower into a poultice, a mixture of one's saliva and plant matter. As they applied the glob to his injuries, he tightly closed his crimson eyes and he nodded his head quickly. "Yes, my name is Corrin." He responded to the medic's question, before he observed their next movements. He glanced at the two black seeds, before he obeyed their command and swallowed both of the seeds. Of course, his vision started to slowly blacken not long after he swallowed the poppy seeds and he sleepily yawned before he fell asleep once more.

Anything that would be said directly after he fell asleep, would not be heard by the unconscious male.

    CORRIN ☼ BLIZZARDCLAN

  • They glance towards Bai-Chen when the dragonling arrived, ears perking as the male offered to go and make a nest for Corrin. They smiled appreciatively, a quiet sigh pushing through their maw. They were grateful that the situation didn't seem to get any worse for this stranger, whomever he was. "T-Thank you, Bai-Chen." The young medic would call after the dragon as he departed and then promptly returned their attention onto Corrin as the other confirmed his name for them. "Nice to meet you, Corrin. My name is Gray." They spoke, trying to keep the other awake whilst the worked. When all was said and done, and Corrin lapped up the black poppy seeds from their paw, the kitsune would step back and re-position themselves at the yearling's side so they would be able to lift them up.

Unfortunately, the only downside to those poppy seeds was that they made whoever took them sleepy. However, they were glad that he would be getting the rest he most likely needed after dealing with such a traumatic experience. Making sure to carefully move Corrin onto their back without jostling his wounds, the young medic would begin the swift trek to camp. Given, they've nearly buckled under the other's weight a couple of times - they weren't all that strong themselves, given their petite stature, but they made it eventually, and as promised by Bai-Chen, placed Corrin within the nest that was made for him.
