  • Koa blinked over at her, speechless. How did she get here? Had she followed him?

Koa swallowed and shook his head. "Uh...uh...yes. Im fine." He assured hurriedly, sinking back into the ground a moment.

  • Illuna wasn't entirely convinced Koa was fine but he didn't show any signs of being injured so that was good enough for her.

    "What happened?"

She had now caught her breath but she was still shaking and she ached all over from the bruises and scratches she'd gotten while trying to catch Koa'.

She also wondered what he'd make of her being covered in blood.

  • Koa was exhausted, mentally and physically. He lifted to his feet and looked Illuna over. Only to lift her without question and move on back towards home.

They both seemed in need of taking a second for themselves.

  • Illuna was confused as to why Koa' was carrying her. She wasn't hurt.

"I'm sorry about what I said. It wasn't your fault and it was wrong for me to take it out on you."

She hoped Koa' would forgive her, but she wouldn't blame him if he didn't. She couldn't blame him even if she wanted to at that point.

  • Koa shook his head. "Im fine." He repeated softly, taking her up to his apartment. He took her inside and laid her on the couch before dusting off. "Its nothing i haven't already experienced..."

Koa swallowed before stepping away, distant. "Im gonna...take a shower." He turned and left for his bathroom in silence.

  • Illuna felt...numb, emotionally.

She didn't want to be here, she'd just hurt Koa again if she stayed.

She got up and sat on the railing to the balcony debating whether she should leave or not.

The sun was far from it's time to come up so there would be nothing stopping Koa' from coming after her if she did leave.

Not like she'd be able to hide her whereabouts from him even in the day time anyways.

  • Koa sighed softly, finishing his shower, drying off and dressing. He sat on the foot of his bed for a good while, just drained.

He rubbed his face and sighed softly. Mint poked herself in with a meow, hungry. So Koa shuffled up to the kitchen to get her fed.

  • By now it was just too much for Illuna. The numbness had passed and now she was on the verge of crying.

She bit her lip to he point of bleeding and she didn't even feel it, so she continued untill it was a steady stream of blood that was flooding into her mouth.

She still didn't stop, she just sat there and tried to decide what she was gonna do with herself.

  • Koa was finishing Mints food, but lifted his head when he smelt Illuna's blood. He sat everything down and darted after the smell worriedly. Only to find her on the balcony.

Koa carefully moved over, placing a caring hand at her back. "Illuna..." He turned and looked at her. "Hey....stop that." He urged gently.

  • Illuna jumped when she felt Koa's hand on her back, she turned her head and looked at him.

The blood ran down her chin. "Stop what? What am I doing?"

She couldn't feel that she had bitten her lip and she barely felt the blood from herself because of the blood still on her from her meal.

  • Koa sighed heavily and cupped a hand under her chin to catch the dripping blood. "You bit yourself until you bled..." He answered.

Koa kept his hands where they were for her. "Here...inside. I need to patch you up." He informed.

  • She licked the inside of her lip and found that he was right.

    "When - how? I didn't even notice."

She got up and went inside. The blood tasted good and she kept her tongue on the injury.

"Why am I such a mess? Im starting to believe I may be one of the bad kinds of demons after all."

The post was edited 1 time, last by Illuna ().

  • Koa led her inside and sat her down. He took a wet cloth and carefully started to clean the wound. He was very careful with her.

He glanced up when he heard her. "I really wish you'd quit putting yourself down like that." He muttered, shaking his head.

Koa focused back on her wound. "I know its not true." He added quietly as he worked. "None of it is."

  • Koa soon finished and put a little bit of healing cream on it to help. He then stood and cleaned off his hands, watching her a moment.

Koa cautiously placed his hands on her shoulders, just to check on her. He took in a deep breath and swallowed. "I..." He started, completely off topic and very distant with himself.

"I...care about...you. A lot." Koa could almost feel himself how tense he was. He looked to her, realizing wgat he'd just said. He cautiously removed his hands and shut himself back in his room.

  • Illuna was startled by what he said.

    She cared about him too.

"Koa.." she called after him but it was too late, he was already in his room.

    Maybe he'd heard her?

  • Koa clenched his jaw when he heard her. He ran his tongue across his teeth and closed his eyes tight a moment. Only to sniffle and blink up at the ceiling. "God..." He needed to get a grip. This wasnt him.

He looked over his shoulder and sighed softly. "Yes?" He called back from his room.

  • "I care about you too." She paused and said in a tone similar to his. "A lot."

She smiled and got up, she walked to the end of the hallway that lead to his room.

With a slight chuckle she continued. "I just wasn't sure how to tell you."

  • Koa bit his lip and looked down at his feet as he sat at the foot of the bed. "I just wished you cared about yourself a lot, too." He answered. "There's no reason not to..."

He grew quiet a moment before speaking again. "You hold yourself back a lot. Credit wise that is. But there's nothing to hold back. Despite what others may say or think..." He paused and looked to the wall. "...i think your pretty bright."

  • Illuna thought a moment before answering.

"You know, maybe you're right. So what if I'm a demon? It's better then being nothing."

She paused and turned to leave but paused at the doorway.

"But you get some rest. I'll see you tonight I guess."
