WITH STRANGERS: Vincenza is very cautious around strangers, she never grew up with other humans besides her mother and Diaval (who usually is a crow). She may appear or be uninterested in them or not caring. Instead she will be quiet and observant, studying the person she is seeing. Upon listening to what they say it will affect her input on the person. She can say rude things about the person without knowing, she most of the time doesn’t mean to be mean, she just never was taught to control her tongue like most of the other kids.

WITH FRIENDS: Vincenza really values the friends she has (which isn’t many sadly), she knows that people are afraid of her just because of who her mother is, and her alone. She’s still a kid, she gets lonely, she gets jealous, she becomes envious of others who seems to have all the friends in the world. Though that was one thing she was taught of. Don’t do her mother’s mistake. For the friends she has she always goes out of her way to be helpful, very contrast to her personality that everyone sees. She always is loyal, tell her a secret she’ll make sure no one finds out about it, killed someone? She’ll get rid of the body and take the blame, she always goes to extreme to keep her friends happy. While not seen often, and not in public she becomes a normal fifteen year old girl who playful and cuddly, forgetting that in that moment of time she has to play the role of a evil kid that nobody likes, everyone fears.

WITH ENEMIES: contrary to belief, Vincenza does not like making enemies, the take up to much time for her liking, always going out of their way to pick a fight with her. She will not hold back her sharp tongue and become the most sarcastic person, so sarcastic most people don’t know it’s sarcasm. She becomes spiteful, she isn’t afraid to fight, she isn’t afraid to burn somebody. Being petty is a second nature to her, it isn’t hard to see that it’s the first thing she does when she comes across an enemy. Lastly, if it gets to the point, she isn’t afraid to curse them, whether it be bad luck or injuries she isn’t afraid to do that, it’s what people expect from her, so why not do it.

STRENGTHS:

- she has incredible powers, stamina and flexibility from dance, she’s light on her feet and has sharp reflexes. She’s creative with anything and is always pushing herself to be outgoing.

WEAKNESSES:

- she’s incredibly stubborn, once she’s made up her mind, it’s incredibly hard to change it. She’s petty, and incredibly self conscious, words from other students hurt her and have molded her to shape her as what they said she is. She’s competitive, see who gets the highest score on the next test? You bet she’ll take that on. She can become easily distracted and lazy, some days she don’t do anything.

FEARS:

- she has the fear of drowning, let’s say it’s from childhood trauma. She can’t be in small spaces crowded with other students, she has the mindset that one day she'll be betrayed by her friends and left behind to rot while they go live their life to the fullest.

INSECURITIES:

- while she may not act like it, she is insecure about her body, going to extreme lengths to always look good, then even more extreme to stay that way.

- knowing that whatever she does she may never be enough for someone, who wants to be with the monster.

- knowing that with her, true love may never come.

INTERESTS:

- she never really had much to do, so she read, sang, danced, was into anything music in general. She grew up free, her mom taught her how to express herself with dance and her voice. She grew up in a magical forest, she seen a lot of animals and found it easier to connect with them than the judgmental humans. She’s also into psychology, always wanting to dabble in that

SKILLS:

- when she first came, she saw the kitchen, and fell in love, she was taught how to bake and had a knack for it, she loves baking sweets for her and her friends, though she does it when nobody is there.

- she’s been dancing since she’s been able to walk, about 14 years of her life, she loves it. She’s been singing since she was six and likes to write her own songs. Flexibility came with the dance, some may mistake her for a gymnast with how flexible she is.

- her mother taught her small curses, mostly harmless, and she uses them for pranks most of the time now.

IN DEPTH: Vincenza is an incredibly proud, and a extremely vane person, and is often extremely absorbed on herself and her friends. She is often very competitive, and absolutely abhor any situation that makes her look bad, or ruffles her pride. She is notorious for being a very sensitive individual. So it is very often that the first few words an individual shares with her can come to define what that she thinks of them forever more. She is easily hurt, easily offended, and easily infuriated; Vincenza is notorious for being extremely competent in one way or another. Often because of how sensitive she is and also related to her vanity. The surest way to please her is to make her feel like she's done a good job, to stroke her ego. Vincenza is definitely not the most warm and bubbly and friendly person. Often because of her vanity, she just spends so much energy on herself that there isn't much left for dealing with other people. But it's also because she is very moody and sensitive, so dealing with the masses is more often than not stressful. Going back to the very roots of her personality, she is very well known for her wit. Spending so much time alone gives her a lot of time to think, and her sensitivity and pride make her rather sharp tongued. Vincenza is an incredibly clever individual. She is notoriously tricky Vincenza is very impetuous, more often than not, so it is pointless to even attempt to predict her actions. It’s simply because she is, again, very vane and self-centered. She generally expects others to follow her and deal with wherever she chooses to haphazardly wander. When Vincenza makes up her mind, forget about trying to change it. She is stubborn beyond words, and by the time she comes to a conclusion on something, there is little that can break that conclusion apart from herself. This can make her very frustrating to deal with (your problem, of course), but it also makes her a great friend. If she pledges her loyalty to you, then you can count on her sticking with you through anything.

Extra;

People also seem to forget that she wasn’t raised like them, she never was taught the golden rule, how to curtesy, how to rule a kingdom. She was being taught how to protect her home from said kingdoms. Her mother taught her how to use her spells to make the trees strong, how to grow wicked vines to turn people back, how to make the moors hidden. She also hadn’t had the best experience with humans when she was a kid. Her mother raised her in secrecy as best as she could. She never was really taught math and science, why would she need to know how to add two plus two when she had a battle to fight. She was taught survival skills, when she was younger her mother made her survive on her own, for a whole week in the worst part in the woods. She never was raised in a fancy bed, being served with a gold platter. She turns her head at that, she doesn’t need to be served when she can serve herself. She listens to what the princesses and prince’s say about her. She thinks about what they say all the time, she got tired of trying to make friends with people who seem to be so opinionated about her that she started to act like what they said, soon realizing that, if she’s focused on herself, then no one would be able to hurt her as much as when she went looking for praise, or friendship from them.

PARENTS + RELATION: Maleficent + they are closer than people think, while she doesn’t talk about her mother a lot, they always keep in contact. Her father is unkown, her mother refuses to talk to him.

father + Unkown, but he had to have some sort of humanity in him, because she isn’t as evil as her mother, if she was the whole school would be in chaos. People seem to forget that she had a father and he wasn’t like his mother, he was most likely gentle and more caring, softening her mother up to have a baby and make sure it lived, showing love to it. Who knows where he is now though.

SOCIAL CIRCLE + RELATION: while she may not be strictly in one ‘circle’ she would probably be with either mean popular or athletic group.

PARENT'S STORY: While her mother grew up to be protector of the moors, Vincenza learned the whole history of why her mother did what she did, she doesn’t try to change anyone’s mind that her mother isn’t evil or whatnot. Her mother had her reasons as to why she did it and she doesn’t understand why people are so fed up about the past, it happened and now everything is alright, her father is never mentioned and she may or may not be too afraid to ask about him.

Vincenza has met Aurora a few times, thankfully she is one of the humans that she looks up to.

BIRTH: she was born and grew up in the moors

CHILDHOOD: she doesn’t like to talk much about it, saying there’s nothing to talk about.

While Vincenza grew up in the Moors, she wasn’t surrounded by people at all, she was raised with the fairy’s, sadly she wasn’t born with wings, her mother said they’d come when she was older, possibly 16. While her mother was scary to others, she was never afraid, who could be afraid of someone who softly sang her asleep every night, who showed her magic, who taught her magic, someone who was her mom, but her best friend. Her mother always told her to never let her bottle her feelings, and if she ever felt anger towards someone, never act, it wouldn’t do good. She was kept from school when she was younger. Her mother wanted her to stay a secret, but Vincenza had wandered out of the forest when her mother was busy, she was six at the time.

She made it to the fields, she wasn’t sure how, but there were men there shouting at her to stop, who wouldn’t when they see a little girl wander out of the woods Maleficent live she in. The men asked her questions, she let it slip out that Maleficent was her mom. They panicked and took her, she went along willingly, her mother never taught her to not trust strangers, because she never planned on Vincenza meeting strangers. They came to a lake, small but deep. She was curious about it, getting close to it, not noticing the men get some rope and iron quickly tying her and threw her in, “getting rid of a devil” she remembers them saying. She screamed the moment iron touched her skin, screaming when she felt water go above her head, she struggled to swim while being tied up. She wasn’t sure how long, but she was close to dying when she felt herself being picked up and dropped on the ground, she couldn’t see, but she heard the shouts of tortured men. She didn’t blame her mom for that, she blamed herself. She was ill for awhile, scared of everything, clinging to her mother for awhile.

(To this day she won’t be seen near a pool or inside a body of water that is deeper than her hips.)

At the age of eight, she learned she could speak to animals, while her mother could feel what the animals were feeling, she couldn’t fully understand them as much as Vincenza, they figured that was from her father. When she was ten her mother started to teach her curses, magic, anything to defend her from humans. Her life continued to be normal after that, just training, training, and protecting. She thankfully was allowed to have a lot of free time to do what she wanted she found hobbies, and grew to love them.

Starting high school was scary for her. She didn’t know anyone, and she wasn’t allowed to bring her animal friends for company. She wasn’t allowed to see her mother whenever she wanted. She wasn’t inside the moors. She didn’t know these people. The men intimidated her, past memories coming to mind whenever she was in close proximity with one. When they started to spread rumors, or just say stuff about her, is when she began to get self conscious, if she couldn’t change her personality for them to like her, or her past, maybe her body would get them to go easy on her? She focused on getting the perfect body, it only got worse, there were bullies out there, who knew what she was trying to do, they beat her self confidence down, until one day she snapped, making what everyone said about her true, she cursed them, the worst curse she could come up with, terrible injuries, when they speak others would hear their secrets, bad luck, all of them.

She got in trouble. She didn’t care at that point, she was pushed too far, if people wanted a new Maleficent she would deliver, she would focus on herself to the point where it grew a second nature to her, the mask seemed to be glued to her face. Her insecurities never went away, she still struggles with self confidence and body image, even if she doesn’t show it. Going home she became the girl she once was, being free, thanks to her mother, making her forget about her first year of school for awhile. She still has to get sued to being the cold person everyone sees her as.

FUTURE PLOTS:

- She needs friends, truly she does

- maybe some love too, a difficult relationship it would be.

- I was thinking maybe if there was a challenge(?) that some characters made amongst themselves on who could make Vincenza their friend, like a ‘taming of the shrew’ type thing.

- Because she didn’t go to school until now, she is struggling with regular classes, maybe a tutor or something, that maybe leads to friendship.

- these are little plots that’s I’m just throwing out there.
