  • addie found peace in many things. like painting, drawing, cloud watching, stargazing. hell, he could probably get shot and he wouldn't care. he was just so laidback. ironic considering he used to be one hell raiser of a kid always assaulting people and torturing thunderclanners and shadowclanners. he was pretty sure at one time had had captured some thunderclan deputy, but he didn't really remember their name too well. hell, it was entirely possible that it hadn't even happened and he was just delusional in his old age. either way, he wasn't such a chaotic little man anymore. he was a happy old man that liked to spend his time doing anything that he very well pleased.

even now as he laid comfortably on the outskirts of the main island with a book tucked between his paws, lazily scanning the pages but not quite processing the information. either way he was happy, he was at peace. although he had to say now that he was thinking about it he missed his old ways just a little bit. he missed capturing and torturing those that got in his way, but that was okay. he'd rather not bring those memories back to reality. he much preferred sitting about and reading like he was now.

  • "Whatcha reading?" Ochaco inquired as she sat down next to the male, feeling rather bored and desperate for conversation. So desperate that she didn't even consider how bad of an idea it was to try to talk to someone that was clearly indulged in a book. Surely Adler didn't want to be bothered, but the girl didn't take that into consideration before approaching him. She hadn't officially met him yet, but had seen him around a couple of times in her short amount of time here. But she really wanted to get to know as many of the Blizzardclanners as she could while she was here, so she couldn't help but wander up to strike up a conversation with him. She wasn't really much of a reader herself, but she didn't mind letting others talk about their favorite books and whatnot. Maybe he was reading a really cool story and they could talk about it! "Oh, I'm Ochaco Uraraka, by the way! I don't think we've met yet." She added as she happily gazed up at the larger canine.

  • lucas would soon scoot after them, his ears perked and his eyes wide in interest as he made his way over on soft paws. he usually wasn't the biggest into reading, not really- the poor chap was spending all of his time simply working, doing the duties a paladin commander would need to do. so he didn't find himself with much free time. besides- he was using said free time to tend to his garden, which he loved. so, yeah. not the biggest reader. but he could get some enjoyment out of a book, even if he did tend to get a bit jittery and anxious while sitting there for so long.

he made his way over, opening his mouth to say something to ocacho- but he soon let his mouth close up. he didn't want to be a sour person, especially with his new powers. so he would simply sit nearby, enjoying the occasional silence, using his plant powers to grow happy little flowers.

  • His mind hungered for knowledge, and his heart longed for storytelling, so Loki had always loved to read. It was uncommon to see him without his nose stuffed in a book when he was a child — mostly historical and useful tomes, but reading was reading. He loved it to this day, despite the fact that his mind was often a little too preoccupied for the calmness that reading entailed. He was certainly more of the hellraiser than he was the aged, tranquil man that Alder had become.

Nonetheless, Loki was there. He had become bored with the books that he had stolen from the Kingdom and saw Alder’s pastime as a good opportunity to refresh his mind. Loki had transformed into a very small chameleon and was situated next to one of Alder’s grand paws, playing the part of a mindless little creature just basking in the sun.

And while it likely wouldn’t be noticed, he raised his eyes and glared at the children that approached. Didn’t they teach any manners around here? Silently, Loki would continue to read.

    BAI-CHEN BREAK R. C. K.

VALOZIAN DRAGON / BLIZZARDCLAN / TAGS & INFO

Bai-Chen glared enviously from the clouds as he watched them all happily read or ask about reading. He wished he had that ability. There were so many questions he had- about the clan, politics, himself - and he was certain all the tomes and books Blizzardclan had to offer held some of those secrets. If he could just...figure out the puzzle of those rotten complicated symbols!

Too prideful to ask, the dragon would only watch, seemingly resting on a cloud as he snorted pointedly. As if they were all fools for being so into literature. As if he wasn't the biggest idiot out of all of them for being illiterate.

    "Speech."
