He nodded, before slowly crossing his arms with a soft sigh.
"... Strange to think about everything we've been through, huh...?"

Eira looked over at Zero. 'I know. Everything is so different now." she sighed softly. "Everything is different."

He quietly chuckled, shutting his eyes with his own sigh.
"Goes to show what a few days can really do, huh...?"

Eira smiled sadly. "Yeah," she agreed softly

β... Hey, Eira?β He spoke up softly, glancing to her with soft eyes.

Eira looked at him, surprised. "Thanks for what?" she asked softly. She did not understand

"... For this wacky adventure..." He quietly chuckled, softly smiling to her.

Eira chuckled and smiled back. She bowed playfully. "Of course my fine sir," she teased him. She stood back up

He smiled playfully and turned to face her, returning the bow in response.
"Honoured to have been a part of it, mi'lady"

Eira chuckled lightly. "Come on. Let's get somewhere and rest for the day," she said. She sounded happier than before

"Heh, sure" He smiled softly with a nod

Eira walked over to a small grove of trees, Moon trailing behind her. Once they were in the cover of the trees, the dragon laid down. Eira sat down and leaned back against her.

Zero smiled softly and sat down beside them, quietly chuckling.

Eira looked at him. "What is it?" she asked. She had heard him chuckling.

"No particular reason... I'm just happy" He smiled gently

Eira smiled. "I'm glad," she said softly. "It is nice to be happy."

"Yea..." He nodded slowly "Not very often I feel like I'm genuinely happy... although being with you has changed that..."

Eira blushed some. "I understand. No one has every made me happy like you have," she admitted softly

"Heh... nice to know I somehow make you happy..." He softly smiled to her with a light blush of his own.
