"I see..." He nodded, glancing away weakly.
"At least you're ok though..."
-
Elia smiled weakly. βMy father will have to be informed of what happened.β She forced herself to look at him. βI was hoping you could go. You could take Moonflower and be back within a day.β
-
Me...?
"Look, I... I'm no messenger..." He sighed, closing his eyes and keeping his arms crossed.
"But, considering I'm the reason for your injuries... it's only fair that I go"
-
Elia nodded slowly. βWait until sunrise. Itβs too dangerous for even Moonflower this late at night. Iβll see you in the morning Zero.β She then looked down at Moonflower, clearly done talking for the night
-
"Right... I'll meet MoonFlower here, then..."
He turned, before walking out of the small medical house and back out to his dragon.
"C'mon Phos... Berk's already got something against us despite our help... and now with the princess, I wouldn't be surprised if they treated us like what we once were, Berserkers..."
-
The next morning, Moonflower was sitting outside of the hut waiting on him. She was already saddled and there were traveling bags attached to the saddle. She stood up and chirped a greeting to him
-
"Heya girl" He smiled softly as he walked over, gently patting her back.
"You ready?"
Phosphora followed with a sniff, tail flicking slightly with a soft cackle of electricity
-
Moonflower gently nuzzled him in greeting. She looked over at Phosphora, chirping a greeting
-
He chuckled softly before looking over, as Phosphora chirped in response.
"Alright, alright..." Climbing on Moonflower, he looked down to her.
"Ready to lead the way? Because I have no idea which direction your home is in..."
-
Moonflower grinned. With a roar, she leaped into the air. She climbed quickly, breaking through the clouds within moments. Then she turned, soaring north. She was going faster than she had last night
-
Smirking softly, he would occasionally glance over his shoulder to keep an eye on his dragon before looking back ahead with a small smile.
-
It seemed only minutes had passed when Moonflower dipped below the clouds. A large island dotted with forest and towns appeared below them. The dragon circled downward until a large castle appeared with towers around it. Moon landed in a field beside the castle. She roared loudly, as though summoning someone. A few dragons and people turned and looked at them, but no one neared them. Then a huge, solid black dragon appeared in the sky. It lowered itself to the ground in front of Moonflower. The female lowered her head as an older man dismounted the dragon. He began approaching them. He was dressed as a king.
-
Oh gods, who's this old timer...?
Motioning for Phosphora to come closer oonce she landed, Zero had slipped off Moonflower and slowly glanced towards the king.
-
The king stopped in front of Zero. He narrowed his eyes as his dragon stopped behind him, the beast growling softly. "This is my daughter's dragon, but who are you?" he demanded, his voice cold. Moonflower whimpered softly, and the larger dragon snapped at her. She jumped back, clearly afraid. The man took no notice of the dragons.
-
"And you must be the king..." He mumbled, crossing his arms slowly.
"I'm Zero, a friend of your daughters... she got caught in an incident and got injured"
-
The king raised an eyebrow. "How badly injured?" he asked, his coldness beginning to melt away. He beckoned Zero to follow as he began walking towards the castle. "Not too badly I hope." He didn't seem very concerned.
-
He sweatdropped and glanced to Phosphora, who was looking around with a soft growl.
"Not too bad, but enough to keep her in bed for a bit..."
-
Erik frowned. "Unfortunate. I'll have to see to a few things before I make my journey to Berk to check on her."
-
"Right... I'll be taking my leave, then" He raised a hand slightly in a small wave.
"See you around then or something, I suppose..."
He turned, before beginning to walk back outside to his dragon.
