    — Cranepaw

    bioplottingmain

Under the midday sun, Cranepaw gazed over the vast moors seeking for some shade from the warm rays. How she loved running along the moors but my did she hate the lack of trees... especially in the rain or the blazing heat. Narrowing her eyes she spotted a faint outline of a rabbit and began her pursuit. Down into a hunter's crouch the lanky she-cat did her best to stalk her prey. Her dilute pelts often helping her camouflage in the long grass of the moors. It wasn't long before she started the chase after the rabbit. With a final leap she lunged after the prey, picking his up in her claws and tumbling along into a more shaded area. Not realising, Cranepaw had chased her prey over all the way to the border. Wasting no time she lowered her head, picking up the rabbit and attempted to make a swift exit until she heard a noise. "H-Hello?" she called out quietly.

// here it is!! Ravenwatcher (acc forgot the tag xd)

  • Mysticfang (Paw)

Mysticpaw had noticed the stranger crossing the border before he accidentally slipped a bit. Trying to recover before they noticed the tom shifted closer into the shadow-but too late the stranger had noticed him. His cropped tail twitched, half of his right ear was missing-torn off by a rogue and a large ragged scar was across the young tom's chest. Letting a curse slip from his maw he appeared from the shadow as his cold eyes landed upon the stranger "You're not from around here are you?" he questioned the she-cat, not familiar with the heather-like scent she carries.

    — Cranepaw

As the silvery tabby stepped out of the shadows, Cranepaw felt her heart race. The tom emitted confidence with every pawstep he took and it made the younger apprentice's legs shake. "N-no. No. No not really... I know I shouldn't be here... I really didn't mea..." the anxious she cat glanced everywhere she could that was not directly at the unfamiliar tom. It was very common for her active imagination to run away during patrols or lectures from older memebers and one of her classic stories was meeting a mysterious stranger... except she was usually on her teritory and the feeling of excitement out weighed the feeling of fear. This was the opposite. However, Cranepaw felt frozen, unable to move. Whether it was the curiosity keeping her there to learn more or the fear of turning her back on the unknown tom she could not lift a paw. "I'm sorry..." she mewed quietly to herself as she lowered her body.

  • Mysticfang (Paw)

Mysticpaw watched her as an amused look appeared on his face and he sat down "why are you afraid? Im not going to hurt you-there's no need for that. You're a paw too right?" he asked her before curling his cropped tail around his paws-well as much as he possibly could that is. "You don't need to apologize, you weren't paying attention and didn't realize where you were going" he said smoothly before pulling off a charming smile and examining the small she-cat, she was a lot more skinnier and very lithe compared to him-he was fluffy, big and probably looked imitating to the she-cat. "Ah....My name is Mysticpaw and Im from Darkclan, and you?" he asked her curiously realizing that they didn't know each other names.

    — Cranepaw

The younger apprentice couldn't believe what was happening. After carelessly stumbling into Darkclan's territory, she found herself in the presence of a confident tom who was quick to tend to her awkwardness. Glaring wide-eyed, Cranepaw slowly extended to her full height and whilst nodding she muttered her name under her breathe "Cranep-paw... like the lanky bird..." Her breathes became heavy. The dilute tortie began to feel her long legs shake in anticipation of Mysticpaw's next words but it soon became too much. Making no attempt to hide her nerves, Cranepaw shut her eyes tightly and once again purred beneath her breathe "did I really introduce myself as a lanky bird?!"

Amusement flashed into the young tom's gaze as he looked at her. She was kinda cute-especially since she just casually introduced herself as a lanky bird. "You indeed just introduced yourself as a lanky bird" he meowed before moving closer to her and taking in her strange heather-moor mixed scent that stung his nose, it was a bit...sweet in his opinion compared to the earthy scent of darkclan. He wiggled his nose a bit and tilted his head at her "want me to escort you home? Its not safe for a windclan cat to be here by theirselves in a dangerous territory like Darkclan" he prompted to her as his cropped tail twitched a bit "just show me the way back and if your leader questions why Im with you I'll explain that you got lost and I was helping you" he stated towards her with a kind gentle-yet confident smile on his face.

    — Cranepaw

Cranepaw batted her apple green eyes hopelessly at the confident tom. As he had stepped closer, his earthy scent became stronger. It was different and somehow it made her feel safer. Nodding slowly she flicked her tail in the direction of Windclan, "I came from there I believe," she mewed softly already making her way out of the territory and leaving her prey behind. "My-Mysticpaw, I swear I'm usually not this stuttery... Yes. Because that's a word," she attempted to return to her more confident self but the Darkclanner's aura was still affecting her nerves. In her fantasies, Cranepaw would be equally confident as the tom she'd meet but that was not the case here. Whether it was because she was still very afraid of the stranger or because she was surprised she was living a fantasy was unknown to her, however, she did know Mysticpaw had a captivating presence that was throwing her off.
