  • ALEKSEI

There was something simple about being alone, with no one as company except for the soft susurrus of the wind through the trees and the sound of water over rocks in the distance. It was with this thought in mind that he padded through the forested foothills of the mountain island. The sharp odor of decaying pine needles in the undergrowth and the patches of unmelted snow tucked away in the shadows underneath the trees only served to remind him that he was glad that spring was finally here.

A few more steps and the forest opened up to a clearing about a large boulder--a mountain meadow, green and vibrant, with a multitude of flowers bloomed in the warm sunlight. There was a small hum of appreciation as he stepped through the grass, claws sinking into the warm loam, before he jumped onto the massive stone. The heat underneath him was pleasant and Aleksei made a soft satisfied noise as he settled down on top of the boulder, head resting against his paws.

now would you hate me if i said good bye so quick you could eat my dust

There were times that being all alone was very satisfying. No longer having to put up walls, no longer having to pay attention, it was a moment to relax. To breath in and just be with ones self. Cosmicshadow felt little pleasure in being all alone. But she often found herself that way anyways. Her purple eyes kept forward as she padded along. Not doing anything very important, just taking a stroll. When she came across Aleksei. The mighty leader, right? She didn't know them very well but they seemed good. The star pattern serval watched as they leaped onto the boulder and began to rest. Were they tired? She felt tired. But it was just one of those days.

She suddenly felt guilty for just standing there and watching. Was she being weird? Her metal paw lifted off the ground before she continued to pad along. Someone else could bother them but she wasn't gonna be the one. ""

  • Canoris wished she had time to pad along the territory, all mellow. Instead she was chasing a raptor, who she just got a report from a BlizzardClanner that she'd broken into their cabin and destroyed everything in the cabin. Canoris hadn't believed it but they swore the culprit was an albino raptor. The dust and debris all over Bast once Canoris had located her had sealed the deal.

    I can't raise children. I can't raise raptors. I'm surprised my hummingbirds haven't revolted.

Those thoughts were the ones running through Canoris head as she approached Alabaster, stance obviously angry. As soon as the raptor saw her, the little shit turned, let out a startled scream, and ran.

Canoris growled with frustration before running after Alabaster. "Bast! Come!" She barked, but of course no creatures likes listening when listening involves punishment. Maybe she would lock Bast up in a cabin for awhile...

Canoris would if she thought that'd help at all.

"Bast!" She barked again. I swear you little piece of shit once I get a hold of you I'm going to beat your ass so much you'll be wincing when you walk for days. I can't believe you did this, you know better you little cretin. Her thoughts were venomous, but luckily for her and everyone involved, she had no telepathy. Canoris supposed if someone else had telepathy they'd be able to read her mind. She wasn't taking much care to hide them right now. Heck, she was barely keeping them from being screamed out loud.

Alabaster ran course right passed Aleksei and Cosmicshadow, who appeared to be lost in a sea of tranquility. Canoris watched Alabaster yip and skree as she hopped by them and dashed into the forest. In the process, she kicked up dirt and muck all around them, lots of it flying towards both Cosmicshadow and Aleksei. Great spirits. She groaned in her mind, slowing to a halt in the group of people, annoyance and apology written on her face, "Sorry. Bast is being... difficult today." The wolf would have to catch her later.
