    Louis spun the wheel a little carelessly, lightly jamming out to his favourite song. He’d brought his blue SUV on this little vacation, mainly because he never went anywhere without it. He really loved his car, for some peculiar reason. Louis pulled up into a makeshift parking space that probably wasn’t even meant to be parked in and got out, pulling two bags from the boot, both lightly packed. Shutting the car door and locking it, he turned and made his way through the entrance, wondering where he went from there.

    Clary had already unpacked in her room. It was weird to be away from New York and the Institute, as well as all the Downworlders (vampires and warlocks and the lot) and the whole demon fighting agenda. Clary ticked her weapons belt under the bed, hoping living among mundanes at this island resort wouldn’t call for demon hunting. She came here to get away from work, not to keep working. Changing into a regular hoodie and jeans to fit in a little better, Clary headed downstairs to the lobby to see if she could meet anyone she’d be spending her time with here.

    Folkvar helped Paracelsus off of the large red dragon, Odahviing, they flew in on, and took her bag from her.

    "Thank you, Odahviing. I owe you one." Folk thanked the dragon who replied. "Nonsense. A wedding is important to you mortals. Least I could do for an friend."

    With that, he turned towards Para and smiled. "Ready to go in? This place is apparently nothing like we've ever seen. Should be nice."

    Miraak was already in his room and unpacked, he didn't have many belongings. He didn't really know what to do, he's never had a vacation before. And the rooms themselves were strange, at least to him. They didn't have harnessed electricity where he came from, not like this. He was smart enough to realize it wasn't magic doing this, at least, not entirely.

    MAI TANIYAMA

    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    It felt so nice to finally get a break from all the ghost hunting that Mai had been up to. And, it was for her own good since she was a primary target for malevolent entities. Mai was sure to relax at this place and put herself at ease. Mai was dressed in a long sleeve orange turtleneck sweater with a bay colored skirt, black stockings and tennis shoes. She was currently unpacking for she had gotten there earlier and she was taking everything out of her suitcase to unpack. "Maybe I'll change into a swimsuit later on." The teen murmured to herself as she was thinking whilst unpacking and putting everything away. Mai sat down on the bed and slid her shoes off, putting them somewhat underneath the bed. Mai flopped down onto her back, eyes gazing up at the ceiling with a thoughtful expression plastered on her face. She stiffened a yawn that passed her lips before sitting up, running a hand through her hair. "Hmm, maybe I should go see the others and introduce myself." Mai said aloud.
    JAPAN
    ~~~~~~~

    Kiku Honda, more known as the country of Japan, was holding his dog, Pochi, in his arms as he dragged along a stuffed suitcase. He was dressed in a red and white hoodie with matching colored sweat pants. "What do you think about the prace, Pochi?" He asked his tiny Shiba Inu. Pochi let out a delighted yip as the dog wagged his tail. Japan softly smiled before entering the place, observing it. It wasn't what he was used to. The walls at his house were paper thin and he was sure that these walls were not. Though, Japan seemed a bit uptight. He was hoping nobody would come up and just... hug him or shake his hand as a greeting. Japan was not one for physical touch especially when greeting. That was a big taboo in his country. If someone came up to greet him then Japan would just bow respectfully at a fourty-five degree angle with his waist. Japan set Pochi on the ground and he brushed off stray dog hair off of his hoodie. Pochi sat down on the ground, tongue rolled out as he panted while sniffing th ground.

    ZENNY

    ~~~~~
    Zenny let a breath pass her lips as she was entering the place, a stuffed cat tucked underneath her right arm. She was wearing her deviant clothing and her scarf was covering part of her mouth. Some would question her outfit... leggings with a skirt? Well, Zenny always kept her legs covered no matter. Even if she was close to overheating, she would step into a cool area to cool off. And some might question why Zenny, who looked like she was in her late teens, would be carrying around a stuffed cat. Well, it kept her stress levels down to a minimum. Zenny walked inside, looking around as she took in her surroundings. A few strands of chocolate mocha brown hair fell in her face, briefly covering the bridge of her nose and part of her right eye. The most noticeable feature about Zenny was her height. She was short in stature and stood at around 5'0. So she was small and short. Her left arm was being weighed down by a bag which contained all her stuff, including her android clothing which she would put on later. "Hmm... this place does seem nice." Zenny finally spoke after a few moments of her remaining silent.
  • Waves crashing down, splashes and beauty resound--
    OOC:
    Paracelsus put her feet to the ground, the sand crunching underneath her dark shoes.
    Smoothing out her somewhat plain looking dark green dress, she stared up at Folkvar.
    “Aye, I’m ready,” she answered simply. She probably looked rather unrecognizable without her normal Plague Doctor attire. Folk had assured her that she wouldn’t need it. That didn’t stop her from bringing her knife and her poisons of course. But at least she looked the part of a normal wife.
    Well...”normal.”
    Her cold, steely eyes gave her surroundings a once over, facinated.
    “Yes, this place is nothing that I’ve seen. Nothing even close to the Cove.”
    She noticed briefly a very unfamiliar looking tropical plant. She’d come back for it eventually. No need to get too curious just yet. That is, if the doctor could help it.
    Bare feet caked in wet sand, Bigby felt like he was walking in a dream. He knew it was real, but even then it felt so unreal. It felt like he couldn’t even remember how he ended up here. He just showed up.
    Even It seemed bewildered by this.
    Well, they were here now. He needed a break from the horrors he had been fighting below and the scathing glares that followed him due to his condition. He gripped his cloak tightly and moved towards hoping perhaps he could evade persecution, even if only for a short time.
  • Baraka
    All the supplies the tarkatan required where unpacked. Some meat, a whetstone and some clothing. All thrown around everywhere. Baraka grabbed a small bit of beef and began to chew into it. He was hungry after the boat ride. He quickly exited his room leaving his stuff laying around. It shouldn't be a issue. He checked his arm blades while walking to the lobby. Sharp enough in case of a fight.
    He entered the lobby hoping to see any familiar races. Only humans were recognisable. Explains the smell. He walked over to a piece of paper he saw on a wall and attempted to read it. It was earthrealm writing. Which he couldn't read. Damn it.
  • Lea:
    "Seriously? How do you not have Sea Salt ice cream?" Lea huffed, wandering away from the beachside snack hut. He'd opted to leave his heavier layers and boots behind, opting instead for bright red board shorts and his black t-shirt. He had a surfing class set up for later. Proper attire was required. Deciding to go see who his classmates where, Lea wandered inside to look at the sign up list.
    He was surprised to find a a massive humanoid standing in front of the list, glaring at it. Lea was pretty sure there were rocks of something sticking out of his shoulders. The guy certainly didn't seem like he'd have the balance and agility for surfing. Even though they were about the same height, this guys was a lot stockier. Though, Lea did suppose it would certainly be amusing to watch him go tumbling into the ocean.
    "Yo! You planning on conquering the ocean later big guy? It'd certainly be interesting to see you on a surfboard" he said, sliding his sunglasses up onto his forehead to look for other names on the list.
  • Baraka
    Baraka turned around a bit when he heard someone talk to him. A human with red hair. He was tempted to threaten the earthrealmer for the interruption. However he was on a break. He let out a hum at the term surfboard. "what is a surfboard earthrealmer and why would I conquer the ocean" he asked in confusion but with his default snarl. Sounded like a odd type of weapon.
    He looked back at the sheet of paper trying to decipher the odd symbols. It's very different to Tarkata's writing. He internally growled but outwardly sighed. "what does the writing say, your realm's writing is unreadable to me" he asked the red haired human. Might as well find out. Could be valuable information while here.
    MAI TANIYAMA
    ~~~~~~~~~

    Mai hopped off the bed and she opened the door. She figured she should go see the others and at least politely introduce herself to them. She stepped out, closing the door behind her before she started to walk down to the lobby, looking around as she did so. This place seemed so relaxing to her, she could really enjoy herself here. And hopefully she had no more weird meaningful dreams while she stayed here. Eventually, Mai reached the lobby area and she looked around, hands clasped together as she hoped to find someone to interact with. And hopefully someone nice to talk to at that. For the meantime, she should sit down and take a moment to get used to the place. "I wonder how Naru and the others are doing." Mai murmured to herself as she started to think about how the others were doing.

    ZENNY

    ~~~~~~~
    Zenny looked at the others and she hugged her stuffed cat, named Kokkuri, close to her. She could take time to observe and analyze the others to get to know them better. Zenny twirled a few strands of her hair with her left index finger, this was a habit she had picked up on and learned by watching humans do it all the time. Chocolate brown hair wrapped around her index finger as thirium rushed to her cheeks and forehead, giving off a blue tint instead of red. She tightened her grip on Kokkuri as her honey colored eyes blinked a few times. Zenny knew none of these people, they were all so unfmsilar to her but she brushed that aside as she did not know how these others would interact with her. Zenny heaved a breath as she decided to go find her room.
    (All 3 of my characters are up for interaction)
  • Lea:
    Well Lea had been right about one thing, this guy definitely wasn't human. He shook his head at the other's confusion, smiling.
    "It's really not too difficult of a concept. Big wide piece of wood with some fins on the bottom that lets you ride on the waves. They may be a force of nature, but with a board and some skills? They're your ticket to a good time and bragging rights over beginners. As for that sheet there. Thats the sign up for today's surf class. Put your name down to get an edge over anyone else," he said gesturing to the nearby pens and open slots on the page. He slid his sunglasses back down and turned back towards the beach. Pausing, he turned back to Baraka with a grin.
    "Oh, and I'm not an earthrealmer. I come from a few different worlds, and the name's Lea. Got it memorized?" he asked, tapping the side of his head with a wide grin. His expression was mischievous bordering on intimidating.
    tumblr_plq2ajB6bk1vgzd4so1_r1_500.gif
  • Baraka
    The tarkatan put a hand to his chin briefly. A type of sport then. Might be good to retain his strength during the break. So he picked up one of the pens and started to write in one of the slots. It looked like a bunch of scribbles that vaguely structured Baraka. He put his pen down and turned to the human. "of course Tarkatan memory is fairly good, I'm Baraka" he said in his usual snarl but lighter as if trying to be polite. Definitely not used to that.
    He turned away from the sheet and briefly mimicked Lea's head tap. Must be some sort of signal amongst humans. He sniffed the air only to be overpowered by salt water. The ocean was never his favourite place. He activated his arm blade slightly to pick out a small bit of meat from his teeth. "so Lea, what are those goggles on your head" he asked awkwardly pointing at the sunglasses. He had started to feel out of place. Even a tarkatan could become embarrassed.
  • rsz_1rsz_1img_20190223_223254.jpgConnor|Male|RK800 Prototype Android|Detroit: Become Human
    Connor had decided that the beach was his favorite location. He almost felt stupid for being so hesitant at first, so reluctant to take a vacation, actually have some time to himself to relax. He'd been worried that it would be boring, that he wouldn't have anything to do. That the lack of tasks, things to focus his mind on would make him stressed. But this was pleasant. More than pleasant, actually. He liked it. He liked the feeling of the sun against his back, warm against his synthetic flesh. Liked the feeling of the sand beneath him, the soft texture felt nice to run his hands through. The fresh, salty scent of the sea was refreshing, likeable, unlike the thick industrial air of Detroit.
    He shifted slightly, moving his arms so he could rest his chin atop them, eyes gazing out idly from beneath heart-shaped sunglasses. Sunglasses that he didn't need to wear -given that he was an android- but wore anyway because he liked the presence of them on his face, liked the way he looked in them. He liked the way he looked overall, in fact. It wasn't often that he ditched his usual suit and tie for something more casual, let alone beach wear. But he liked it. Liked the way these clothes felt on him. Liked the way he looked in them. He felt nice.
    He let his eyelids slip shut, body slipping into a state of relaxation, gentle sigh running through his frame. He focused upon the sound of the sea, upon the noise of the waves lapping against the shore, the loud cries of seagulls flying above him. Despite the loud of it all, it was oddly gentle. Soothing. He melted into the feeling of warmth, into the gentle burn if the sand beneath him. Let all his tension ease off. Let all his worries melt away. Hank could probably use a break like this. Connor made a note to bring him along next time, Sumo as well. The imagery of the dog running through the waves was enough to form a smile on his face, lips curled upward, LED a contented blue at his temple.
    He could feel his mind nagging at him to rest. Give into the feeling of calm. Allow himself to slip into stasis. Maybe he should. He hadn't slept all too much since he'd arrived here. Perhaps it was a good idea? To get some rest, when he was comfortable, warm. Happy. He shifted once-more, positioning himself into a more comfortable position to sleep- something which wasn't necessary for androids, but he didn't care. He liked feeling comfortable. Without hesitance, he started his stasis countdown, set it to wake him up within a few hours, so long as he had no interruptions. He watched the countdown on his HUD, LED still swirling blue at his temple, body completely still. Relaxed. A contented hum briefly vibrated within his throat, cutting off only as darkness absorbed his vision, mind and body slipping into a state of well needed rest.
    ((so, i guess i lied about being unable to write up a post. so uh, i hope this is alright ^^ if you wanna interact with con, he ain't that hard to wake up lol))
    Louis stepped in, bags draped over his shoulders and was shocked. There were already so many people here. Naturally, he began to seek out any androids. His fascination of the inventions was sort of what got him kicked out of the marines in the first place. The tall man was unable to spot any in the crowd, so sighed and gave up, instead heading straight up into his room. Immediately he made the decision to head down to the beach, having always been a lover of the sea (which was why joining the marines shocked his family as they'd expected him to join the navy). He changed into trunks and a loose tank top, sliding a pair of sandals on before jogging down the stairs, shooting a nod at Mai. Louis was a natural at making friends and he tended to treat strangers as if they already knew him. His phone bouncing lightly in his pocket, the young man managed to get the beach in the space of three minutes, not at all out of breath like he might have been at 15 years old. Jesus, that seemed like so long ago. Instinctively, his blue eyes lit up at the familiar sight of an LED light on the side of a man's head. He was lying on the beach, seemingly quite relaxed. Louis guessed he was an android from Detroit, but he didn't know his name (at least, that's what he thought). Interfering with the androids too much would have gotten him in deep sh*t, and he wouldn't be on suspension like he currently it. He would've been let go completely. Shaking those thoughts from his head, Louis plastered on a grin and jogged up, skidding in the sand until he landed flat on his behind next to Connor. Naturally, hard impact with the ground would hurt anyone. Playing it off, Louis grinned, pulling his knees up to his chest. "Glad to see I'm not the only beach lover around here." / interacting w/ Snowfeatherthekitty   jumpsuit.
    Clary watched as people filed in left, right and center. She hadn't exactly been the bubbliest of people when she was a mundane - human, she corrected herself - but she guessed being a Shadowhunter for the past 4 years had sort of cut her off from the lot. Taking in a deep breath, she grinned and walked right up to the surf class list. Her name was already in her neat, artistic handwriting at the top as she'd been the first one to sign it. The ginger caught snippets of their conversation, and pushed her way into it with a friendly smile. "Yeah, got it down. Thanks Lea." Clary grinned at him then gestured to the sign up list. "Surfing's pretty fun, too. Not all about 'getting an edge over everyone else'." Her hazel green eyes turned on the humanoid creature, but she only folded her arms, expression still light and friendly. / interacting with Black Shadow-Wing   cyberelite2k
  • oIGD8pW.jpg
    Aimlessly drifting through space: not a single thought had been thought in almost a century. It was as though he had been put into an immortal sleep, one without dreams, yet his heart still beat. His eyes had been open, yet they did not see. He had long been blind to the myriads of stars that enveloped his drifting frame, which seemed so minuscule compared to the vast vacuum he floated within. Even when his frozen frame had descended to Earth once more, those thoughts of his thoughts didn't return. Cosmic dusts exuded from the backs of his solidified body, which very slowly thawed as it came into contact with the Earth. Still he lied: the stiffness of his body comparable to an all-too heightened rigor mortis.. comparable to boulder.. to pillar. He had landed on his side, his merlot locks being weighed down by the defrosted crystals that had held him hostage for so long. Beads of water dripped from the tips of his thick strands and onto the surface of pale skin, yet he did not wake. His eyelids were still parted to reveal scarlet irises, though they stared blankly at what lied ahead.
    It wasn't until morning, several hours after, that one of Kars fingers twitched, his eyebrows just barely knitting together. Slowly but surely does he regain consciousness, his thoughts once again pooling in. They were running amok: strands of far too many [thoughts] intertwining until they formed a massive ball of chaos. "Where am I?" Was what his mind repeated far too many times for his liking. His mind felt as though magma was being poured atop it, its pyre and heat dancing about. He winced and brought a large hand to the left temple of his head, pressing against it like he was silently begging for the torment to cease. The wince exposed pronounced canine teeth that were at a point; upper row of [teeth] clenched with the bottom. He feels much like a baby deer trying to take its first steps, for his limbs were clumsily beginning to move as he regains control over them.
    It's then that he takes a mental note of the warmth that blankets over him. "The sun..!" He exclaims amidst his own thoughts, his eyes widening with shock. It's a few seconds before he recalls his greatest accomplishment from a former time. "Ah yes, the sun.."" A smirk plasters itself atop his plump lips. "I conquered it long ago." He states silently, welcoming the warmth that caresses his large frame. "This is how it feels to know fear no longer." The sun's rays.. he hadn't paid attention to its warmth when he first conquered it. At this point, his hair is dried, and so he no longer feels the dampness of its locks nor the drops they left on his skin. After a few long minutes, he hauls himself to his feet. The weight of his boots is one that now feels foreign, although he assumes he'll quickly adjust. Now that he's standing, he extends a large hand to the sun, observing how the large star makes the tips of his fingers look like a translucent rosy red. "At last.." He murmurs aloud to himself, lowering his hand so that he can stare at it. Not a single burn.
    He gazes upon his surroundings; his otherwise phlegmatic and charming features being graced with the subtlest of curiosities. "How long has it been since then?" He wonders in a low mutter. The structure of the building he lied in front of, or behind perhaps, was one that he was not used to seeing. It isn't until gazing to the floor that he looks to the much smaller frame that's lying atop the floor. Sleeping, he knew it was, though he had no need for such trivial functions. There wasn't a way that this man had been damned to that same fate, even if his own was so temporary. He trudges over with long strides (of which are notably graceful), the locks of indigo wine bouncing on the toned backs of his shoulders. He looks at the grains of sand as he walks upon it, making sure not to accidentally step on any plants or small critters as he approaches the man. He angles his head momentarily as he listens to it crunch beneath his feet.
    So this is how it feels to live without fear.
    When he approaches the brunet, he allows his unusually tall frame to loom over the smaller's: carefully observing the latter's movements or lack thereof.
    {interacting: jumpsuit. }
  • Baraka
    The tarkatan looked at the human who joined the conversation and raised a non existant eyebrow at her. She was also going to do the surfing. Maybe she was keeping in good physical condition as well. That's what he found fun. He looked towards the water and chuckled. "having a edge is always valuable, however I was told that I should try to have fun" he said scratching his cheek "so I guess I'm tasked to have fun with this surfing thing". He was honestly glad someone else was here. As a warrior he wasn't knowledgeable in talking. Or earthrealm's tasks.
  • Lea:
    Lea' smile widened as Baraka mimicked the gesture. He made a note to see if the big guy would be interested in fighting with those arm blades later. He was curious how durable they were. They were certainly thin enough to be caught and countered with a chakram.
    "These are sunglasses bud, helpful for not going blind when it's bright out. You can borrow em for a bit if you want. No offense but you kinda seem like the type that doesn't get out to this kinda spot too often, but hey, neither am I," he mused pulling the sunglasses off and holding them out to Baraka.
    He guessed the girl who has just showed up was the one who had beaten him to the list earlier. Something about her reminded him of himself. Maybe it was just the dark clothing.
    "Glad you got it down. Don't forget it," he said. "And yeah surfing is fun, but the competition is half the enjoyment right?"
