hello! i was wondering if anyone would be interested in a final destination based group rp?? i'm thinking like, 4-5 different rpers with 2 characters each or something? that way we can keep the 'get fucked almost everyone dies' feel without anyone having to drop out of the rp! then, we could either "beat death" like kimberly did in final destination 2/like they almost did in final destination 5, or go out in a blaze of glory and kill off the remaining ones in one fell swoop! however, i think this is a pretty niche kinda idea. it's an old franchise that was met with a lot of critical apathy. soooooo that's why im making an interest check before going full out on a thread! note: this thread would be semi-advanced to advanced (3+ paras/2+ for each character) thread, using real human face claims. oh also you'd get to make up your own character's rube-goldbergian death!!! which i think is real fun. also, there's no need to have watched the source material to join!! it's a pretty simple concept.
basically, it's about a bunch of teens who get caught in some horrendous disaster, ranging from plane crash to highway pile up to bridge collapses! however, right before they all die horribly, one of them has a vision what about's to happen, and manages to save a few people from it. which is good for a while! but then death catches up with them- because all of them were designed to die in that tragedy, meaning the fact they were even alive is a huge imbalance. so, they all start dying in very horrible & very coincidental ways that really shouldn't be possible (such as: a teacher's mug cracks open just enough to leak some wine out of it, which ends up in her computer's hard drive, which ends up causing a malfunction and blowing it up, sending a shard of plastic into her neck. then, as she's stumbling around, she slips and falls. she sees a well-placed cloth she thinks she can use to help clot the blood, but it just so happens to be on top of a set of kitchen knives, and the force from her pulling the cloth lodges one of the knives right into her chest. to top it all off, a chair falls over right on the knife, digging it into her heart). if you look carefully enough, you can notice the signs right before it happens (things feel weird, there are often signs that can be visioned up/seen around/etc.) and try to prevent it. there are a few weird rules that can be explained & understood pretty easily but this "interest check" is starting to look like an actual form kjfskajf. so i'll leave it be for now! just reply here if you're interested and if enough people show interest i'll make the thread!
(oh also if anyone was wondering- the content warning is for graphic descriptions of death/violence/gore, because if you're not gory with a final destination themed thing, you're not doing it right)
