RULINDIL thought they should have a private thread to start this whole thing!!

To say being injured was terrible was an understatement. Eaglespirit did not usually get injured, usually too calculated and good at fighting to do so, however he was just going on emotions in the fox attack (a mistake), and had to take the small chance that he could survive the dog attack, but getting more injured in the process. Thankfully, they were just starting to heal, angry red starting to give way to a less-angry pink. And afterwards they'd just be swallowed into his long fur, never to really be known by anyone else. But everything before that point was horrible.

His wounds were bothering him in the moment, stinging moreso than usual by the rain and mist. He debated going to the medicine den to ask fro something, however dismissed it. It was only pain. He decided instead to plop down on the ground, not really able to leave the camp due to his uselessness, not really able to do anything else around camp.

  • rulindil couldn't remember the last time he had been injured. it had been a long time ago he was sure. probably back when he learned how to hunt and fight from his mother and her unnecessarily brutal actions. she used to whoop his and his siblings's asses when they were learning under her. it was almost funny to look back at it now and how she would toss them around like ragdolls. but if he could recall correctly that had been the last time he'd been injured. and that was well over fifteen moons ago. so to be entirely honest he couldn't remember what it felt like to be injured to the point of incapacitation. but he could certainly sympathize with those that were. and his "guard" happened to be one of those that he sympathized with.

"eaglespirit, right? my guard for the week because i'm from bloodclan?" he chuckled softly as he stepped up to face the silver ticked tabby. offering the senior warrior a onceover he furrowed his brow in a flood of concern as he made himself comfortable a good, natural distance away from eaglespirit. "how're you holding up so far? feeling any better?" he questioned dropping the amused tone in his voice as he asked this. he knew they were strangers but it was almost an instinct to care of those around him whether they be injured or healthy or even if he loathed them with all his being.
