    two ideas from this thread so far! -- fetch, argus! // p, paladin trainees +


    1. Housewarming Parties -- new BlizzardClanners get a small party when they move into a cottage

    -arranged by paladin trainees once person has chosen a home? or by others?

    -maybe limited amount of houses (x amount of homes, availability + living situations will be tracked) so that there will be roommate situations...

    -separate housewarming thread for each move in? or one big party for all newcomers

    -mention at meetings to pick a cottage

    -disaster to limit housing


    2. Milestone Gifts -- small gifts given at big life events, like apprenticeship, warriorhood, mentoring, etc

    -given by leader/vice-leader, but chosen/made by people who are close to them

    -individual events or given at meetings/separate thread?

    perhaps we could list the number of cottages available and stuff like that? though i understand if not- its a very outlandish suggestion vfjdvnfjk

    yes, definitely! i'll add that in

    i adore roommate situations tbhhh

    maybe to start that (and maybe the welcoming parties?) we can have a small disaster event that takes out a number of the huts? ppl are still free to live outside of camp but those who decide to live inside would be subject to Sharing And Caring


    as for milestone gifts, would they be given at the milestone event? or would there be a separate meeting just for handing out milestone gifts??

    I love these two ideas! Maybe we could make one big party thread that stays up all month for the house warming gifts. Just because there could be a chance that some joiners will be missed and this way all the new joiners could be tracked down to one thread?


    Milestone gifts sound cool! Maybe the gifts can be towards those expecting a litter, birthday, ect too?

    both sound good!

    the housewarming sounds like the sort of thing aleksei could perhaps mention when he welcomes newcomers at the meeting - just a small "don't forget to find a cottage" sort of thing since this is easily the type of tradition that could become something mentioned in the guide but never done.

    and limited the cottages sounds like it has a lot of potential for smaller ic plots since roommate drama is unfortunately unavoidable

    i think we can do milestone events to individualize each person? or would that be hard to manage?

    yes, will note that down!

    i feel like individual threads for each milestone would become messy & cluttered. maybe once every two weeks to group together the prior weeks milestones and give out those gifts?? unsure
