  • Andrew carried Aira to the hospital. He didn't bother with the truck; he ran there. Within moments, she was laying on a bed, nurses and doctors around her. Andrew stood a little ways from her, ready to help if he needed to.

  • The doctor sighed “even condoms can break. Of course this is the first vampire human pregnancy this colony has seen so..we must be cautious.and I shall be doing all the research I can”he reassured and aria started to cry.

  • Andrew instantly got up and went to her. He held her close, blaming himself for the mess they were in. "Is there nothing you can do for her?" he demanded. He sounded harsher than he meant to be.

  • “There is..we can terminate the pregnancy now. Or we can do what we can for her. But we can only do so much. Last time this happened In our history the host died”he sighed and aria cried into Andrew. “Can’t you turn me? Can’t that help?”she asked and the doctor shook his head “we cannot do it while the baby is inside you”

  • Andrew closed his eyes tightly, his fists bailed. "What do you want to do, Aria?" he asked softly. He would not force her to give up the child or carry it. This was her choice, and as much as he hated it, her life.

  • Andrew sighed heavily. He didn't like the risk she was taking, but it was her choice. "Okay," he said softly before kissing her forehead. She felt a single tear fall upon her skin.

  • She held onto him gently as she felt the tear. She knew it would be hard. She could even die from it. But she wanted to prove herself in a weird way. She sniffled “home?”she asked quietly.

  • The doctor nodded. He knew he would have to make sure a lot of things happened fast. Within three months it was starting to show. Aria looked rather sunken and skinny. She ate what she could but it wasn’t enough. She was rather pale as she held her stomach that looked to be around six months already. The doctors did scans every week and had warned it’s likely to grow faster and could be feeding off her. She knew this only made Andrew despise it More.

  • Andrew was now doing all his work from home. He rarely left Aria's side for more than an hour at a time, and he never allowed her to be alone. If he was not with her, a nurse was. Elena had come by from time to time, but she was due to have her own baby any day now. He too looked pale, even for a vampire. He could not remember the last time he fed the way he needed to. He didn't want to leave Aria for that long.

  • Aria was curled up on the sofa feeling horrible. She kept sleeping on and off. That’s when some nurse got the bright idea “sir..if I may..”she got a blood pack and poured it in a take away cup for her “how does this smell miss?”she asked and aria was scared “good..it smells good.”

  • Aria bit her lip before taking a sip through the straw and soon found out she couldn’t stop. The cup was soon empty and she felt a bit stronger. “That. Was good I guess?”she breathed and the nurse smiled and texted the doctor “sir can I get you a cup?”

  • Andrew shook his head. "Save them for Aria. Once she gets a bit of her strength back, I'll go hunt. It's been too long since I have," he said. He wrapped an arm around Aria once more, bringing her close to him.

  • Aria leaned into him “it’s been scary”she sighed gently “the baby is growing so much I wish I could see them already or at least know what they are doing. This may be the only time I spend with them “she knew the risks he’ll she felt it. It was taking everything out of her. She got another cup handed to her and drank it all quickly.
