  • "Right, well, though I am not apart of the Commune guild, it should not really be my duties to be doing this," a pause in thought as the coyote wanders blindly to what smelled like the treeline, carefully noticing the patterns in the earth with every step he took. These calloused paws of his took him farther in life than he thought they ever would before, despite his inability to see things with his own eyes. He saw in dreams, but that was perhaps the only glimpse of hope he could catch in life. "No one has visited the Serein Copse in quite some time, and Solaris has been dead all the while... I guess it really is my job." As he finally took notice of the scent border before him, he paused in his tracks, allowing him some time to sit down and relax after all this travel. "The cold wind of the forests feel nice within my fur. It's a stark difference indeed from the arid desert surrounding the Kingdom," he heaves a sigh, a raspy cough escaping from the depths of his throat. "And a little parched I seem to be feeling as well, ah. No matter, however. I think I'll live for the next thirty minutes or so, however long I'm here for. At least Miss Million decided to accompany me as well."

A disgruntled presence alerts him, signalling that a stranger was nearby and approaching him at a steadfast pace. "What are you here for," the question was more of a demand as the stranger spoke, their scent unfamiliar to the coyote as he took it in. "Pardon me," he greets politely. "But is this not the Serein Copse? I hope I haven't taken the wrong directions to get here?" His comment forms into a rather bemused one, head glancing backwards to where he was sure the wolf-hybrid was in tow. "This is The Order now," the being interjects abruptly. "Get the fuck out before I make you." Brows scrunching upon his face, he stares onward with glazed, unseeing eyes. "I would much prefer if you would send for your leader. We're both here on important business, and I don't like when my time is wasted by someone so undeserving of it." The stranger of 'The Order' departs, leaving the man to sit near flabbergasted by the ordeal before him. "A-Are they always like this?" he asks Ver, brows upturned now in question as his black lips askew, an uncomfortable twitch of his ear portraying what was really an onset of irritability.

  • She'd pad after the smaller canine, wings resting on her sides. She'd been the last to visit but had heard some strange things about what had befallen the copse. She hadn't been in a rush to check on them by herself, nor did she have the mapower in Solaris to order a patrol to follow behind her in case things went sour with this "supposed" order. She didn't doubt her strength but she also wasn't an idiotic to think she could go toe to toe against an entire clan if they decided to label her as a trespasser instead of an ambassador.

She had opted to accompany Ryad on this little excursion, not out of a desire to bond with him on a supposed roadtrip into enemy territory but because she knew he wouldn't last in the jaws of an enemy patrol. He was smaller and more nimble than she, he'd easily get harmed or killed. So she had offered to accompany him, thinly veiling her reasoning. She didn't want to humiliate him by saying she was there to be a body guard.

Her suspicions were correct as they made it to the border, the scent was starkly different than the copse. Their scent was there but masked and overpowered by something much much more strong. She'd eye the stranger as they approached wings splayed out ever so slightly to make one statement clear; that if he made any sudden movements or spat some halfhearted threat she was more than willing to attack. She'd stay silent as they talked, eyeing the stranger as they dissipated into the woods before relaxing her muscles. She'd laugh at his words, a dry thing that cracked from her throat like the hot desert air from which they hailed from. ”No. Of course not, I don't think we'll be seeing any actual Copsers today Ryad” she'd say bluntly an edge of dry ease in her voice. She was just happy she had her answer.

  • Akuma was not Roman. In fact, if anyone were to mistake him for the direwolf, he would personally feel deeply offended. The Order was not his home and it never would be for as long as he lived but the reason, the only reason he remained, was because he had a wish and a want to protect those who could not protect themselves. What the Order was doing to those they held captive was wrong to the corrupted Chain, especially towards those who were of his now taken-over home, the Serein Copse. It was ironic, considering that the disgusting creature he was supposed to be was designed to prey upon those who were unfortunate and take them into his body and soul. It was odd, truly, truly odd.

The two Solaris Kingdom members would hear the ominous sounds of heavy chains dragging along the ground before they see Akuma's hulking figure push its way through the forest. Then, they would see a pair of glowing caution tape yellow eyes that burned with intensity. The midnight colored beast would make his presence known to Ryad and Ver, smoke slipping through his slightly parted maw of which had been cruelly wrapped up in chain to prevent him from breathing fire yet loosened just enough so that he may speak if needed.

"You are looking for Roman," Akuma rumbles with a quirked brow, "Zu'u los ni him. He should be along shortly," The beastly creature pauses in his speaking, shifting his four-eyed gaze from Ryad to the familiar figure of Ver. It seemed like he was seeing more and more of her as the days passed - first in Solaris Kingdom, then Shadow Veil, and now here on "important business" to discuss with Roman. "How unfortunate that we meet again like this. Los hi paaz?"

He wasn't really educated in all of the politics of this continent he was in. Mostly because he had been elsewhere, in the north, shielded from other's prying eyes. The endless cold and darkness that back then seeped into his heart couldn't get melted away by the fires of the volcanic isles. Not even his own flames could melt it, not so long as he refused to acknowledge his past. This new scent was unknown for him, it smelled of days under the sun, of sand between your paws. It was very different and much more pleasant than his own scent of sulfur and ashes from his former home that hadn't quite gotten washed out of his fur yet.

Deciding to be polite against these newcomers, mostly because he thought they were interesting and he was intrigued to find out more about who they were, he greeted them with a respectful nod. "Welcome to this breezy forest. Might I ask who you are and which group you come from?" he asked and tried to smile. Eldr eyed the big wyvern with a watchful eye and then gave the huge lizard a respectful nod of his own. Even though he was a prisoner he was still a formidable oponent worthy of some kind of respect. Turning back to the strangers he confirmed Akuma's information. "Yes, Roman will come shortly." He noted that the big wyvern seemed rather familiar with these two new faces, and that he should be cautious and on his guard. Wouldn't want there to be any misunderstandings, would I?.

  • It had unnerved her the first time she put two and two together about the well spoken man and the snapping wyvern she'd met in both the veil and Solaris in the past. Akuma was a strange figure, one she'd seen more frequently than any of the other Copser's. Despite his language and intimidating visage she'd let her muscles drop completely, relaxing briefly in his presence. He was an ally, most likely a prisoner here if the chains told her anything. ”It's a real shame” she'd agree with a sigh head nodding before she'd clear her throat to speak again. ”I'm sorry the Veil offered little assistance in your time of need... We weren't entirely aware- still arent aware of what exactly is going on in this neck of the woods” she'd admit bluntly trying her best to not mince her truths.

Her "demonic" gaze would switch to the newcomer, Eldrflar curiously looking him over trying to scope out if he was a threat or not. She'd greet him only slightly with a flick of her ear ”We are from Solaris Kingdom. My name's Ver Million i'm the Assistant deputy in those ends and this is Ryad” she'd flick her tail towards the coyote, welcoming him to give his own rank if he chose to. She hoped this Roman guy would arrive soon so they could discuss things already.

  • — roman had been summoned to the border by the npc, who wasn’t very pleased about having strangers on their border. sighing, roman would make his way over, seeing that eldrflar and akuma were already present. "what do you want? i have shit to do so make it quick." he mused, not in any mood to be discussing things for long periods of time. giving the pair a skeptical gaze, he’d watch ver for a moment, vaguley recognizing her around before, (or at least he thought she’d been around, it had been awhile since he’d seen her) thinking she’d been part of the order not long beforehand.

  • THE HIDDEN GEM ——— TAGS

almathea would trail after roman, curiosity at this sudden visit. or perhaps it wasn't and she was simply uniformed. highly possible. she didn't know much of the outside world, or what happened within it. the small girl, with the paranoia of a dove, had held a finicky gaze over the group. there was akuma..eldr...but she did not recognize these other two. they said they were from different lands.. "what is the kingdom like?" had came the unfiltered response, trying to get more information of the world beyond. perhaps aeres had known more. maybe she'd get to see it one day.

  • Many, many others had arrived soon after, and a flurry of comments directed both at him or otherwise had overwhelmed him almost. Ver's introduction almost made him spit out a rather strange cackle of laughter. "Yes I am Ryad, Guild Head of Artistry around the Kingdom." This was all fun and games until who appeared to be their leader showed up in a rather... unprofessional manner. "Is that so?" the coyote begins bitterly, a brow cocked in mock disappointment. "I shouldn't waste your time then. And your name is...?" he cleared his throat. "Anyways as Ver has stated, we are from Solaris Kingdom, and namely myself has decided to visit the Serein Copse to see whether or not our previous alliance is still in effect. You see, this... The Order takeover changes things up a little bit in our game-plan, and so on the latter I would like an explanation, as kindly as you can put it, as to what has happened here, and whether or not we will stick together as allies... seeing as," he scanned Roman up and down with his blind gaze, taking in everything he could with his senses. "You all don't seem to be very pro in your agenda." Tilting his head in the direction of the next stranger to approach, who had asked him a very simple question, and to which he gave a very simple nod. "The Kingdom is... quiet, serene almost. An oasis in a hell of a desert, a calming place to reside in heat of any storm. You should visit it sometime," his comment is heartfelt, though a twinge of worry infects him as he still ponders if this 'Order' will still be on good terms with them or not.

"Welcome, Assistant Deputy Ver Million and Guild Head of Artistry Ryad, to The Order's new home. As you know this forest belonged to the Serein Copse but they are now gone, our prisoners or dead." His introduction ended when his leader, Roman, came to the scene. Eldr smiled amusedly as he gave only the shortest and least formal answer he'd ever heard from a leader before. It didn't surprise him that much but he still thought it was quite amusing seeing how the people from the other clan would react. The small lynx prisoner, Amalthea, joined them too and Eldr shot her a friendly smile. He really hoped that his clanmates weren't being too harsh with the young ones, Amalthea especially seemed quite frail. At her question he perked his ears to hear Ryad's answer; he was just as interested in getting to know more of this big world, a world that he has never really been introduced to.

Quiet, serene, an oasis in a hell of a desert. It sounded like fiction and fantasy to Eldr, nothing was ever serene in this world. The whole world was a hell, fire and brimstone, ice and frostbite. It was just pain and suffering to live. You might as well have some fun before you go. But if that serene place really did exist, then maybe it was worth seeing some day?

  • She was unimpressed by the leader as he approached; his unprofessionalism rivaling her own and just on the smidge it bordering into the Exiles civility skill. She’d grunt and get an urge to roll her eyes at the man, staying silent as Ryad addressed him and the child first. While she wouldn’t word or be as polite as him she still felt he touched on the most important points so she’d said nothing until a proper answer was giving.

A low growl would emanate off of her as the answer came from the one called Eldrfar the answer was obvious. Solaris’ would be to, the Copse were their allies she’d gotten to loosely learn and like a good few of them through the few times she’d met them. Seeing them under occupation by the so called Order was disgusting.

She’d speak before her traveling companion, he may have decided to come here but in the end her position and role gave her more leeway to do and say as she pleased. She wouldn’t be hasty and dumb but she wouldn’t just nod her head like a hit child and agree to some neutrality or alliance with them. It wasn’t what she was about, if they were so capable of proud of taking over the Copse what was stopping them from attempting to take over the desert or any other territory. ”Our views do not align at all, if you willingly slaughtered and captured our allies than it’s only natural for us to dub you as the enemy.” she’d woof cooly tail flicking ”Solaris will offer you a slim chance at neutrality but we will make no efforts to support your rule nor any of your underlings.” she’d woof with a roll of her eyes. She’d stare down at Ryad and motion for him to start walking away, not wanting him to get grabbed at. ”Solaris will take whatever measures it has to to protect ourselves and our allies. But for now we will maintain some sort of ceasefire until we can head home to discuss this matter with our leader. Sound good fellas?” she jeered. She spoke more on impulse rather than actual thought but she doubted it’d bite her in the ass. She mouthed off plenty and had the gall and fangs to defend her words.

  • — roman snorted, sharing an amused glance with his clanmates seeing how they chose to react. he’d take a moment to collect himself before speaking. "we can remain allies should it benefit us, the order as a whole. if you’d rather be enemies however, feel free. it’s not our hides on the line after all." he almost chuckled, seeing the way the reacted. were they really going to be that afraid of them? for the time being theybwere considering copse allies as thiers, but in reality the less people they had to worry about the better.
