  • ❝ THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE IN ME, JUST WAITING TO BREAK FREE ❞

Coldpaw felt... we'll, she wasn'tquite sure anymore. She'd gone through so much - so fast, so soon. Disappearances, friendships, heartbreak, loss... she'd been so lost in-herself, so willingly locked away behind her walls that she hardly recognized her clanmates, her family, her 'friends' - hardly recognized herself anymore. Unable to sleep, the tortoiseshell molly had gotten up that night, hoping to go on a walk to quell her thoughts - still somehow finding refuge in the simplicity of a quite midnight patrol. All was not well though ,as she reached the sahdowclan border, half-hoping to spot mountainpaw peering over from the other side, even though she doubted her friend would be up-and-about this late. Blaring lights, screeching, and a sharp pain in her side was all that she'd see, all that she'd know, before everything went black - the acrid scent of burnt rubber stinging her nose. By morning, all that would be left was tire-tracks, a tuft of fur, and a small trickle of coughed-up blood.

"bliss is a kiss on the forehead."

❝ YOU LAUGH AND SMILE AT ME, BUT YOU DON'T SAY A THING ❞

// for those who aren't aware, I'll be on hiatus until may 23rd, so Coldpaw will be considered missing/kidnapped until then

The next morning, Rosewater was taking a walk by herself, looking around the territory at all the new growth that came with newleaf, and appreciating how warm it was now that leafbare was moving out. But her peaceful morning came to a screeching halt when she got near the Thunderpath border with ShadowClan, finding evidence of an injured cat scooped up by Twolegs. The little calico couldn't be sure, but it smelled like Coldpaw had been here, and a sinking feeling settled uncomfortably in the calico's gut. Turning and rushing back to camp, the little warrior would tell Blackstar what she had found.
