Sanguine Ruins, an anti-clan who has close bonds family wise and takes care of each other but also don't tolerate being pushed around by others. We make sure to include everyone in our threads and want everyone to be included, we're an medium-fast paced clan. We also have events going on currently, you can find more about them here!
Blackheart Rogues, an neutral group who's prime course of living together is to be and act as a family. "It takes an entire village to raise children" and they all protect each other as they were their own family, they are not to turn their back on each other in dire times. The OOC community, much like the Sanguine Ruins, is such an amazing one and I honestly find these two are the least clique and most welcoming out of most of the community.
I offered these because they're very welcoming to newcomers (and oldies) who return to Agrelos and they're all sweet people who listen and support each other (ICly and OOCly) whenever we're having a hard time. The IC Sanguine Ruins has some meaner characters but they do have an handful of nicer characters while most of them worship the Red God who is all about murdering and sacrifices to keep him happy (your character doesn't have to believe in him or not)!
Definitely seconding the Ruins!! I recently came back to the site as well and I found it really easy to get back into the swing of things with the Ruins - there’s always something going on IC, we have plenty of adoptions if you want some familial relations, and the OOC group has been simply lovely ❤️
i don't rp in the ruins or the rogues, so i'll offer a couple of my own suggestions, too!
the ascendancy is an up-and-coming clan that is currently unboarded and residing in the treacherous steppe! they are a group of megalomaniacs banding together for a common cause: to take over all of agrelos. there are only a handful of members right now, and we are all very welcoming, so getting oocly integrated is very easy! i would say the pace is medium right now, but i can see activity being picked up in the future as more people join.
if you'd prefer a boarded clan (or at least one with more history), i would recommend the thunderlands or the shadow veil! the thunderlands is a pretty active clan residing in the west sundran jungle. they are a neutral clan, but i would say they tend to lean towards a proclan more than anything. they are close-knit and have a very diverse cast of characters, from cynical grumps to wide-eyed children and just about everything in between. our discord isn't super active, but our community is very welcoming and integrative! the shadow veil is an anticlan that keeps justice and honor in mind. they have a fun and interesting cast of characters both icly and oocly! our discord is very active, and the board itself is moderately paced. if you think you'd be inactive for a week at a time i would say to avoid these two, though, as a lot tends to happen in that space. the shadow veil also has a very interesting clanwide plot happening currently, but i am pretty sure the thunderlands is planning one to happen soon!
I do traditional clan RP a lot, which I avoided for a long time but now that I'm involved, it's super fun!
But if fanclans are something you're into, I know a ton of solid ones :^D
