  • Hera had always found herself alone. Sure, some times she felt alone, but there was times where she wished that she could be around her littermates. But from what she knew, she wasn't sure were any of them were. However, today the winged hybrid was relaxing in the sun. Sure most thought that it was too hot, but she lived for the sun. She had no idea if anyone was going to come around.

  • There were also moments when Deerkit found himself feeling incredibly alone. He yearned for the warmth of his brother and his mother, to feel their sides gently rising and falling as they slept next to him or to just even play fight with his brother again. He didn’t know if that would ever be possible though, if they were even alive. Like a coward, he had run. But he was finding that he enjoyed it here in Solaris Kingdom, all the people here were welcoming and a lot more friendly then he ever thought a group could be. It was almost annoying how cheerful everyone was.

He was headed to one of his favorite spots to sunbathe, hoping to be alone and looking forward to stretching his tawny body out in the sun and letting it warm his fur but when he came to the top of the hill he found that he was not alone. He wasn’t going to let that stop him though and so he dropped down onto his stomach next to the winged hybrid with a soft thud and opened his jaws to let out a soft yawn before turning his head to lock his emerald eyes onto the other “what’s up with the face? Who hurt you?” He asked, half jokingly, a slight smirk on his small face but really he was sympathetic. He knew that look. It was one he hid from the others fairly often.

  • Hera had no idea what her face looked like. But from what she knew, she was alright. She turned her attention to the younger kid. She had no idea who Deerkit was, but she gave him a smile. "Oh hello young man. I'm alright. I'm just laying out in the sun." She curled her wings around her body. For the most part, Hera was always alone. It wasn't anyone's fault thou. Without her sister Irene around, she didn't like being around most. Prim went missing, and she wasn't sure were Clove was.

  • She in a way always envied those who were close with their families, envied anyone who even had any to be honest. She was an only child; an abandoned child who’d only recently attempted to patch up the void her mother left her. Her numerous apprentices, the rogue children and of course even her god-children patched some of the void. But it wasn’t the same, and she doubted she’d even be capable of feeling that familial bond with anyone. She shared her experiences with no one, had no one to lean on during her childhood. Perhaps that’s why she tried her best now to be friendly, or maybe not. She didn’t just make friends because she was some lonely sad sack. There was more to her than that...

The sun felt nice today against her fur, not as scorching as usual but still impossible warm compared to the chill that permeated in the air of her other home. Overhearing Hera’s words the shepherd didn’t hesitate to head over, dropping down onto her paws and laying down a couple feet besides the Arcanium and Deerkit. ”It’s a pretty day” she’d state in a quite relaxed yawn. Head raising up towards the rays of sun to soak in more of its warmth. ”I’d literally kill for everyday to feel this nice” she’d murmur with a low chuckle, as she looked over at Hera.

  • "deer." he saw the child before his own kin, but had found hera bathing in sunlight soon after. sundisk preferred to be alone, he had enough voices in his head to deal with anymore. but loneliness was a killer. sun found himself sinking into loneliness often, being so quiet and distant from every soul. he had lived on his own for so long he forgot how to live with others.

"hera, nice to see you." clove and prim weren't around anymore. the sisters disappeared as did part of his heart. clove was similar to a mother to him, despite sharing the title of 'aunt'. he originally came out to smoke, somehow missing the nagging clove had gave him with every puff of smoke he dragged out. but he didn't want to smoke with the kid here, deer's lungs shouldn't be exposed to his addiction. "mind if i join you?" if he couldn't relax with nicotine in his blood, then perhaps he can relax with sun rays on his back.
