    The Argyros Family is a nomadic buntch, originating in lands far away from Agrelos. Truthfully, calling them "House Argyros" is a bit of a misnomer, as they don't have any official name for their family. Without any sort of formal organization, they have no leaders and no official name. They simply exist, following similar travel routes as one another and maintaining a loose group based on shared lineage, culture, and loyalty.


    GENERAL CULTURE -
    This group are, first and foremost, nomads. They are taught from birth a love for life and adventure, to revere nature and all things in it - but also to love themselves and family above all else, and to reject any notion of anyone having authority over them. They can be all sorts of alignments, though lawful ones are rare - they tend to be more chaotic good or chaotic neutral, adhering to either their own standards or even none at all. Taught to have a deep love for nature, they vary wildly in interests - some are devout healers, others driven by the thrill of the hunt, while others might simply having a love for exploring the world or even be drawn to show off their physical prowess in battle. They may be bound by blood, but means nothing if their is no true loyalty behind it. As far as language, all should be fluent in Russian, their mother tongue, and most know some English (though not all have to know it perfectly; disjointed English is pretty likely for those that grew up in the their old homeland), and some might know bits other Northern languages as well depending on their travels.


    RELIGION -

    The most basic aspect of their faith is that it is extremely focused on nature - they have a strong love for nature and all things in it. Many tend to be adventurers, and to long for the company of the trees and of rivers as strongly as that of other creatures (especially their own kind). Animism, the belief that all things have souls (including things like trees and rocks), is a major aspect of their faith too; they also believe that a shaman known as a 'шаман', as an intermediary between the spiritual and physical world, is able to enter into a trance and consult with the dead. These шаман's had general interactions with the spirits too. Another thing they strongly worship is deer - in the far north the group thrived exclusively off following their herd and hunting them, worshiping their sacrifice and never feeding needlessly, and always working to help their herd thrive and protect it from other predators.

    • Deer Deity - [image] ~ Teris, Deity of Animals and Nature - Believed to be the 'Holy One' who watched over the family and led them to sheer greatness. Worshipped as a God, held to the highest standard and all Argyros have a strong faith in him. Never say The Holy One's name in vain, ex: "for the love of Teris" - this is a fine term to use with the Deity's name IF used the right way.


    RELATIONSHIPS -

    They tend to view sexuality as an extremely fluid thing; their teachings emphasize free love, and no real importance is placed on monogamy for either gender. In fact, monogamy is seen as a bit unnatural by most. Of course, velociraptors that chose to mate for children would often be especially close to the parent of their child and consider them a closer relationship than others, though this isn't definite.


    APPEARANCES & RULES -

    Velociraptors born within the family generally have similar scale patterns, but they can vary quite a bit! These colors include pinks, purples, reds, oranges, blues (basically anything that makes them stand out - bright and colorful). These adopts have no activity requirements and will not be taken back for any reason whatsoever. Please consult with the players of characters before making velociraptors that are directly related to someone else's (ex: parents, siblings, children). They don't have to be best buds with everyone, or embody every single idea of the family, but please nothing too outrageous! This family is powerless in the aspect of they don't have elemental powers. Although, they are all known to have super senses (genetically). Other powers may include super strength, character bond, the sight, healing and/or few may have venom glands.

    Name: Leopold Argyros

    Gender: Male

    Appearance: A blue velociraptor adjourned in feathers, he had a cyanish hue with splotches of darker navy staining along his back in a sort of saddle. He has a white throat and a white underbelly as well as a large cutting portion of white that bisects his mid-half.


    Any notable attributes?: A kind man, Leopold figures he’s a sort of traveling cowboy like figure who wanders around agrelos taking jobs and names and helping various weaker creatures in their troubles. He is a polite gentleman though does seem to have a flirty half to him.

    Powers: The sight (20%), Super senses (30%), Telekinesis (30%), Teleportation (20%)

    Plans for Character: some in attributes

    He’s going to be a nomad and skip from group to group but he will start in Volary. Won’t ever stay for more than a month.

    Name: Ester Argyros

    Gender: Male

    Appearance: Please include a description as well as a reference, if you have one.

    Any notable attributes?: Ester will be fluent in English as well as his native tongue, Russian. He often wears a jester outfit since he used to be a jester during his travels and has enjoyed the role ever since. He is, for the most part, a friendly velociraptor with a great love for games and entertaining others. He can be nomadic, but he normally only leaves when the selected group no longer serves him for whatever reason, but he has been known to visit previous places. He does not seem to care much about allegiances since those who are or considered family with him can still earn a visit from him.

    Powers: Super senses (30%), Sound/Molecule Manipulation (20%), Teleportation (20%), Telekinesis (20%)

    Plans for Character: The major plan for this velociraptor is his eventual descend into madness. His naive, friendly outlook will be challenged as a series of hardships befall on him, and outside influences start to change his outlook. Eventually, he will start to crave chaos and lose touch with his once innocent self. In the meantime, I want him to develop some meaningful relationships and discover a lot of exploration for himself whether that is trying his claws on becoming a medic or doing something else. Naturally, he would offer his services for entertainment since his primary goal is to make others laugh. I plan for him to go to Thunderlands with an eventual dual alliance with the Solaris Kingdom. He will stay in these groups until he feels it is time to move on, but will still visit them.
