  • Zeke reached out and tried to pull her into a hug but as weak as he was he couldn’t really manage it. It would take him a while and therapy to get his strength back.

Kazuki nodded. “I hope he is alright. Think your father will fall for the story that we retrieved these?” He asked pointing at the vials

“well that means I’m my cousin’s sensei,” Ryko said. “And distantly related to the third hokage too now her grandfather.”

  • Rei looked at Zeke and hugged him gently. "Next time, stay back, well at least far enough where you can't get hurt." Rei said.

"Hopefully, if not we can get in serious trouble." Orien said.

Himikei looked at Ryko. "Is that a bad thing?" She asked.

  • Zeke smiled. “I’ll try but I can’t promise. I just wanted to help you and I couldn’t from further away,” he said.

Kazuki nodded. “Kujin too maybe if they find out he knew about it,” he said.

“No it isn’t,” Ryko said. “It just caught me by surprise.”

  • Zeke smiled. “Alright,” he said.

Kazuki nodded. He could see the sand village now.

Ryko chuckled. “No thanks,” he said.

“you two already sound like a married couple,” sakkiko said.

  • “Can Rei get a room next to mine?” Zeke asked Suzaku.

Suzaku smiled. “Sure I can arrange for Rei to be moved closer.”

Kazuki gave Orien a worried look when he saw Rasa but kept walking until they’d reached the gate.

    Sakkiko smiled.

Ryko chuckled. “Yeah I guess so. We have known each other for a long time.”

  • "Thanks Suzaku." Rei said.

Rasa looked at Orien and Kazuki. "Where have you two been?" He asked.

"Retrieving your vials that the Leaf took." Orien said.

Rasa looked at Orien, then Kazuki.

Himikei nodded. "We have." She agreed.

  • Rei nodded before looking at Zeke and Tashio.

Rasa looked at Orien and Kazuki. "How did you know they were missing?" Rasa asked.

Orien looked at Rasa and with a straight face. "We spotted the Leaf shinobi leaving and went to check where they had been and figured they took something of yours." Orien said.

Rasa nodded. "Alright then I'll take the vials then." Rasa said as Orien pulled out the vials and gave it to Rasa before he left.

    Himikei looked at Ryko.

  • Suzaku went and had a few nurses move rei’s bed and things to the empty room next to Zeke’s.

Tashio smiled. “Zeke you always seem happiest when Rei is here,” he said.

Zeke smiled. “Well yeah,” he said not wanting to admit his crush on her to his dad.

Kazuki nodded. He was relieved when Rasa walked away. “Let’s go see Kujin sensei,” he said.

“Well if we can help you plan or anything let me know,” sakkiko said.

“Thanks,” Ryko said he stood up to leave.

  • Suzaku finished and walked back into zeke’s room the nurses were finishing it up.

Tashio smiled. “It’s nice to see how close of friends you two are. It’s only natural for you to worry about each other.”

    Zeke smiled.

Kazuki headed for Kujin’s house. “I’m glad that worked,” he said.

Ryko headed out and stopped. “Is there anyone else we need to tell?” He asked.

  • “Zeke has a lot of influence on us on that one,” Tashio admitted.

    Zeke smiled.

Kazuki got to Kujin’s house before he could knock Kujin opened the door to let them in.

“I don’t think so,” Ryko said.

  • “I kept talking about you to them after I transferred in from the sand,” Zeke said. “They didn’t like you at first.”

Tashio nodded. “No we didn’t but that changed. It was more to do with your clan than it was you at the time.”

Kujin laughed. “You make me sound like a kid,” he said. “I haven’t seen Rasa at all and no trouble,” he said shielding their conversation from the Anbu that always watched him

  • Tashio nodded. “I think it will be a long time before it does unfortunately.”

Kujin looked worried hearing that. “What happened then?”

Ryko frowned. “I’m I don’t know,” he said.

Kiari was at home reading a few books
