    TERRITORY

The tribe members currently make their home nestled upon the tall grass of the Bleak Wilds. Several yards away from Lake Minos there is a grouping of low trees where they shelter from the seemingly constant winds that caress the great plains with a force that is unwelcome to strangers, but nurturing like a mother's touch to the tribe members that reside here. Beneath the branches of these shrub-like trees are small dens - both worn by constant use and dug out by the tribe members themselves - where the tribe takes shelter from the billowing breeze.

    TRADITIONS

    SCARRING CEREMONY

The Scarred Comets has to have gotten it's name from somewhere. When a to-be comes of age, they can choose to have a Scarring Ceremony. The to-be will pick a symbol that means something to them, and carve it onto a chosen part of their body. This will serve as a reminder to them, as well as others, what it means to be a tribe member. The area of the body where the scar is placed is normally of significance to what their strengths are. (i.e. a skilled fighter might get a scar across their chest, or a fast runner might get one on a leg).

    NAMING CEREMONY

While the territory they reside in is often plentiful with food, their lack of structured defenses leaves many newborns at risk of death. This is both a blessing and a curse. It is a blessing because it means that only the strong will survive, while it is a curse primarily to the mothers to have to deal with such a devastation as losing a child. The tribe believes that if a child survives past it's seventh day it is sure to live on to do great things. it is on this seventh day that the newborns are present to the tribe and given names.

    RELIGION

The tribe currently believes in the Greek gods and goddesses of old. Listed below are a handful of the most revered gods and goddesses a long with a brief description of how they may appear to your character.

    POLITICAL TIES

The tribe considers themselves neutrals, though they do tend to possess more anti-clan attributes which means it might be easier to call them anti-leaning neutrals. The tribe is unafraid to defend themselves and their ideals, though since their numbers are small they tend to keep their heads out of other groups' business. They celebrate individuality meaning they are accepting of all creatures (in most cases they exclude murderers and rapist as they believe this would hinder a creature's loyalty and reliability) and they emphasize tribal and familial loyalty.
