*:・゚✦ Tea wasn't quite sure what compelled her to it, inviting Ver to tea; well, she kinda did know. She wanted to know the female better - and maybe Ver thought the same of her, but she'd yet to see that. She was preparing the tea already, going with a more smokey blend - she wondered if it was reflective of Ver's personality, or at least what she thought of her. Tea would quietly add some honey to her teacup, however. For now, she'd wait, and hope her guest would arrive swiftly.

She wasn’t one to bail on anyone, if someone wanted her than she’d make arrangements to see them by any means. It was rude not to, even if she wasn’t going to chat about buisness or murder. She believed from the scent that wafted in the air that this would be much more pleasurable than that. Drinking tea with Tea how ironic. A faint smile would purse the young woman’s face as she came up besides the other. Unbandaged eye looking curiously at the females teacup.

The yearning to learn more was a mutual feeling; Ver was naturally curious and in general tried to get to know everyone. She hated being a stranger and though she felt she knew Tea most out of anyone here there was no shame in bonding more. The horned canine would take her seat a pleasant nod accompinying her arrival. ”It smells good.” She’d comment as her jaws clasped down again, she’d blink the sleep out of her one (currently) useable eye before tapping a paw to her chin. ”Y’know I’ve never actually had tea before. Crazy right?” it seemed like a mundane thing for her not to try. She hoped it tasted good otherwise she was about to embarrass them both.

*:・゚✦ Tea, for a moment, was taken slightly aback by Ver's injury; she hadn't heard about it, so it must have had something to do with the Rogues. She hoped there wasn't some sort of conflict she hadn't heard about - but she'd ask later, some tea to soothe the nerves first was a good idea. "Not a bad time to try," Tea hummed in response, a smile across her face - "Although I thought I'd have a go at making a special blend that I think suits you. It might be a bit too bitter, though..." she said sheepishly, rubbing the back of her ear with a paw as she gently poured some tea out for each of them.

Ver would make herself more comfy, shifting herself so she could sit relaxed on her hindquarters wings loosening as she rolled them back and loosened the muscles that kept them planted to her sides. To Tea's word she'd tilt her head in amusement ”A blend that suits me eh?” she was interested in what she'd concocted, perhaps she poured a whole slough of hot sauce in their or maybe even spiked it with alcohol? No, that was very fitting Tea would never. Even if Ver would love to see her drunk she doubted the other did that sort of thing, she was so refined there was no way in hell she could convince her to drink with her. But then again no one would ever believe Ver; once mercenary, would ever accept an invitation to tea time.

She'd watch as the hot liquid was poured, her red eyes watching as it entered the two cups. She raise her eyes back to Tea before deciding that this mild silence was a bit to much ”So Tea? What were you hoping to talk about, just the normal things like the weather, how we both are or do you have something else in mind?” she'd ask curiously a hint of humor in her voice.
