  • RiverClan. It was still strange to call this place home, but waking up in their camp every morning was beginning to feel... normal. That was what he had been wanting and hoping for, right? What Berylpaw truly wanted was uncertain after a good majority of his biological kin just vanished out of no where, why did all of his family have to vanish and die all the time? He didn't know, but it was time to move on and get a hold on his life again. Of course, that meant talking to Heronpaw.

It had been awhile. Life seemed to constantly get in the way of everything he enjoyed doing so hopefully today he'd be able to just talk to the she-cat. Catch up maybe? He wasn't sure. So he'd walk over to the apprentices den, golden eyes looking around for her. "Heronpaw...? Are you around here somewhere? I figured if you're not busy we could sit and talk for awhile." He'd meow with a small nod to himself.

//sorry this is kinda lame, other posts after the starter will be better! <3

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ As was normal for the past few days, Heronpaw was sat in her nest in the apprentices den. Not relaxing, merely sitting, somewhat hiding herself away from the rest of the clan. After her mother's return, her sister's unexpected pregnancy, and her random outburst, it was fair to say she hadn't been in the best of moods. Heronpaw had not taken her mother's supposed death very well, and now, to find out her grief had all been for a lie was understandably a bit of a blow for her. She felt frustrated and angry, but at the same time she was greatly relieved that her mother had been alive for all this time. Other than unfairly snapping at Gladefall, Heronpaw had managed to do a good job at keeping her annoyance in check, but she knew it would only be a matter of time before it all bubbled over. She could just sense it.

When she heard Berylpaw's voice she perked up a little. Amber hues flicked to the white tom, and she rose to her paws and padded over to greet him. "Hello, Berylpaw," She greeted affectionately. "I'm not doing anything at the moment, so I'm free to share tongues if you'd like." Heronpaw paused for a few moments before adding, "Can we head out of camp though? I need to get out and clear my head."

  • The white tom was relieved to spot Heronpaw sitting in her nest, he was glad he didn't have to flip every stone in camp to find her. Honestly, Berylpaw hadn't been doing a great job at... being there for Heronpaw which was one of the reasons why he was here today. He had neglected to be there when her mother returned from the so called dead and he wasn't even aware of her sisters pregnancy, or her snapping to Gladefall for that matter. No, Berylpaw had been to soaked up in his miserable life again. He had moved to RiverClan to be with Heronpaw, and to start over. He was going to be a better cat, for her.

And he was going to try and be there and at least get a basic understanding of whats been going on.

"Hey! I'm glad I found you so quick." He would purr, part of him immediately wanted to say I'm sorry for not being there for you recently, but they didn't need to start off on that type of note. He'd get there though. "Great, I'd love too as long as you'd be fine with it. I wouldn't mind getting out of camp myself so of course, is there anywhere specific you'd like to go?" He'd meow as he already began to pad out of the den, his golden eyes scanning around camp briefly before making his way to the exit. Pausing to back sure the she-cat was following him. "It's a nice day today..." He'd comment hopefully as he paused to look up into the sun, he wondered with all the trees in SkyClan if it was chillier there still.

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ "Of course I'm fine with it!" She laughed, shaking her head playfully as she did so. To be honest, she would be thankful for the distraction, for the chance to get away from things again. Berylpaw always had a way at making her feel more at ease and calm.

He questioned where she wanted to go as they headed out, and Heronpaw took a moment to think. Was there anywhere she wanted to go? Just getting out of camp would be fine enough for her. "Anywhere is better than here," Heronpaw commented with a rather flat tone. "You can surprise me."
