  • Lavenderpaw

The blue point stepped out towards the centre of camp, her mitten paws planted firmly in front of her and her chest puffed out as she stood up tall. "Windclan! I'll be assigning you your tasks today so get your fur hinds over here!" Lavenderpaw hollered, just to be sure she's heard. Her blue gaze flickered towards the nursery for a moment and remembered her time spent in there, "Kits too! There's no more slacking." The young molly stated as she jutted her chin out.

Though his medic duties kept his tabby occupied most of the time, Hawkpaw padded over shortly after Minkkit. It could be nice to get a break in the action from sorting herbs and patching up injuries, all the while still making himself useful to the Clan.

"I'll take one too." he offered, muzzle pointed in the direction of Lavenderpaw's voice.

  • Lavenderpaw

Her eyes lowered to meet Minkkit, she smiled lightly to the younger molly. Perhaps she was being a bit too over the top? ..Oops. "Minkkit, why don't you create a game for the whole clan to play together? I can't remember the last time we all got together.." The blue point trailed off for a moment before shaking her head to snap out of the thought, her optics focusing back in on the kit before her. "So you've got a super important job, got it?" Lavenderpaw reinstated giving a curt nod of her head.

The molly's attention was soon drawn to Hawkpaw's voice, her head tilted slightly to the side in thought of what the medicine cat apprentice could do. "Hawkpaw, we'll be getting you some sparring training. It's best you get to know everything you can!" She was two moons older than him but that sure didn't show with all her 'creative' ideas. "See if you can gather any other apprentices to tag along, the more the merrier."

  • "All right! My first ever task!" Blossompaw skidded to Lavenderpaw's paws, the once mellow pits of her eyes carrying a sharp emerald fire of determination. Tasks, she figured, would take her mind off everything at last, and, less importantly, make her feel like a true apprentice. "Lavenderpaw," She purred courteously, bowing her head. "Is there a task waiting for me?" Her tail thumped expectantly.

  • Lavenderpaw

"Blossompaw!" Her kinked tail flopped as she looked to the other molly, she was happy to see that she seemed to be doing better. "Of course there's one for you," Lavenderpaw wrinkled her nose as if it were nonsense for the apprentice not to get a task. "I'd like for you to assemble a patrol to seek out prey, make sure you take some warriors with you." The blue point nodded her head to the mention of bringing warriors. "With Leaf-bare winding down, prey should be coming out from hiding."

Wolfheart was slowly coming to terms with what was apparently her life here in Windclan. The stormy gray she-cat padded forward gracefully as Lavenderpaw called for cats to recieve tasks. "I'll take one if you need." Her meow would be soft, almost as if she was uncertain about whether or not she would be allowed to help.

"We were made to be one..."

  • RABBITPAW

Rabbitpaw heard the call and immediately jumped up. Hopping over to her surrogate father's daughter, she meowed, "I'm ready for duty Lavenderpaw! By the way, it's so cool that they gave you this job!" She was really proud of the she-cat she considered a sister. She seemed so big and important! Rabbitpaw was totally ready for whatever job she was given.

  • Lavenderpaw

Her attention turned towards the first warrior to approach her today, the blue point smiled to Wolfheart. "We need to check on our allies to make sure they did well during leaf-bare, would you assemble a border patrol for that?" She inquired, she knew that task would be more suited for a warrior.. Even if said warrior is only a few moons older than her. Lavenderpaw's attention then moved towards her.. relative- The molly choked on her saliva for a moment out of shock before coughing and regaining back her composure with a smile. [color= #DA70D6]"Rabbitpaw, I'd like for you to check the tunnels that run through the moor. If they're still functional that's good news for us."

  • RABBITPAW

Rabbitpaw stood tall and puffed out her chest with exaggeration, meowing, "Yes Lavenderpaw! I'll make you proud!" Then she stopped her play to give the other she-cat a smile before turning and racing for the entrance. She was going to search the heck out of those tunnels!

(I figure that since Morningfrost has pretty much been a father to her her whole life that she'd consider any of his kids her siblings.)

  • RUNNINGPAW

➳ - Runningpaw sighed. He really didn't want to do these little 'duties' that Lavenderpaw was handing out. What gave her the authority to do that anyways? Eaglestar or Morningfrost should have been doing that, not an apprentice. Or was it because Morningfrost was her father that she though she could take all these high assignments? He hadn't thought she was that sort of cat, but it seemed he'd been wrong. ...but he should probably get something from her anyways. He still wanted to help out his clan, after all, even if he had to do it like this. Padding over, he said, "I could help Hawkpaw or Blossompaw."

Smokewing's ears pricked as she heard a voice call for everyone. But the voice sounded... young? Looking over, she noticed that it wasn't their leader or deputy, but an apprentice. Curious, she pads over in time to hear her instructions. Ah, so that was what was going on. And she was guessing that either the deputy or leader had asked her to do this? Otherwise she probably wouldn't be calling them all. Turning to Wolfheart, she walked over to her and asked, "Would you mind if I join you on your duty?"

    {WolfHeart}

  • people were actually beginning to join in with other people to complete tasks, ivynose considering doing that to help someone out, but getting another task would help to spread everything out. there'd been a couple of patrol assignments, sparring, a game, some of the things that lavenderpaw had handed out so far. as he approached her, he gave her a smile. "i'll take one," he told lavenderpaw brightly.

  • Lavenderpaw

Her eyes moved to Runningpaw and she nodded her head, "I'll let you pick who you want to help out, Hawkpaw will be having the training session and Blossompaw has the prey search patrol." Lavenderpaw responded before her attention was soon moved to Ivynose, she smiled to the older tom as she had been for everyone that approached. "Ivynose, could you take up the second patrol for allies? Depending on whihc ally Wolfheart checks on you can check on the other." The blue point tasked the warrior.

  • RUNNINGPAW

➳ - Runningpaw turned towards the other apprentices and ask, "Which of you would like me to go with you?" He'd go with whoever asked for his help first. Either task sounded fine to him, so he didn't really want to pick. It'd be a good chance to test out his skills in both. After all, he wanted to prove to his clan that he still had what it takes to be a Windclan cat.

  • //My apologies for falling behind!

Even after Lavenderpaw moved her attention to different cats, Blossompaw found herself in a trance. A hunting party! Her very own hunting party! She expected her first ever task to be something simple, like cleaning the elders' den or repairing the border. But...her very own hunting party! She found herself quickly pulled into a world where she stood atop a highrock of freshkill, with the others cheering her name below. The freshkill pile just kept growing until she was above the clouds, eveything growing foggy and white all around her. Soon she had trouble breathing, focusing on reality, with the chanting of her name being all she could hear. Luckily, all it took was Runningpaw's call to make the mountain collapse, and Blossompaw returned to WindClan. "Huh? Oh, yeah." She stuttered, her tail swishing. "Runningpaw, I could use your help. We've got a lot of mouths to feed in WindClan!"

  • RUNNINGPAW

➳ - Runningpaw snorted as he noticed that Blossompaw seemed stuck in her own thoughts. Still so very much like a kit. He nodded to her response then sat beside her in silence to wait for anyone else that might help them. She obviously did need his help. She honestly just needed help in general. She was far too young to be in charge of something so important, let alone know what to do with that responsibility. So yeah, he'd help her to make sure they actually caught stuff and didn't screw up.

(you're fine popcorn. :) you didn't fall behind. some people are just a little more active than others. especially when I'm trying to avoid homework. and sorry for him being a butt, he's just a bit grumpy. oh and sorry HAWKMOTH but popcorn got him first. just wanted to let you know.)

  • TAGS ☆彡taking a task from his daughter would be interesting, he supposed. quietly, the blue tabby would saunter over, absentmindedly standing beside his mate. i can take one, lav, he'd murmur in his daughter's direction, tufted ears hesitantly flickered partially forward.

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ Amberkit was trying to pitch in more where she could; she was only 4 moons old but...she wanted to help! Sitting all alone in the nursery and sulking over her missing mossball, she really wasn't contributing much to Windclan. She was rather anxious as she weaved her way to the looming, intimidating figure of Lavenderpaw. She was an apprentice, was she scary? Gathering up her courage, the calico tilted her head up so that she could see all of the apprentice's face.

"Can I have a...w-weekly task, please, Miss Lavenderpaw?" The kitten's voice was wobbly, but she was beaming with pride over her small victory. She had talked to somebody she didn't know! One tiny step towards a better life, one step at a time.
