  • Blackstar was pleased. With the help of some NPC warriors who felt brave and Rustsky, the small patrol had been successful enough to secure a few farm birds from the nearby farms. It had been dangerous but the fact that their clan was moving on and finding a new camp, they had to celebrate. Thunderclan had been slumbering for far too long. Leafbare had taken its toll on his clan and for once they were able to rise above the ashes that was Thunderclan's desolate territory. For moons he worried they would not survive, but newleaf was coming. He could feel it in his old bones.

As though new life was being breathed into him once more, Blackstar towed a large duck he'd managed to wrangle, thanking the Stars above for the catch whilst the rest of his patrol carried the catch, each a chicken in their maws along with some finches that tried to share the meals of the larger birds. "Thunderclan! Let us feast!" He announced as they broke through the makeshift entrance of their temporary camp. Everyone would eat well tonight.

  • As the patrol neared the camp, Flameseeker could smell the chickens. She padded towards the entrance to greet the patrol, and she would attempt to place her tail tip on Rustsky's shoulder as her former apprentice came in carrying chickens. To say she was proud of the fiery tabby was an understatement. She had always viewed Rustsky as more of a daughter figure than a friend, and to see her grow into the fine warrior she was today made her proud.

Flame padded towards the center of the camp, watching the patrol bring the food into the camp. Tonight the clan would sleep with full bellies. Something none of them had felt since the fire.

  • Copper eyes flickered in the direction of Flameseeker as she sauntered towards the center of the temporary camp. The movement having had caught his eye. Ember orbs widened by a fraction as he spotted the chicken and the food laid out across the center of the makeshift camp. Head tilted slightly he wondered how he hadn't noticed that. Sure he had been in a pretty faraway place in his imagination but he really hadn't noticed the array of food. How odd. Humming softly he hung back though, sliding around the edge of the makeshift camp until he found a comfortable, out of the way spot to sit.

He really wasn't such a social person. He didn't mind speaking with people but it wasn't exactly an act that he enjoyed, or appreciated. He wasn't very hungry either, besides he could go a few days without a meal, and it was only right to save the food for queens and kits. For now though, unless he was approached, which he kind of hoped he wasn't, he would sit on the outskirts of the makeshift camp making sure everything and everybody was alright.

    SPEECHTAGS ☼ THUNDERCLAN

  • ❝ Why should I play this game of pretend?❞

"Well Done, All of you." The warm meow would sound as Moonwatcher trotted over to the patrol, offering her sister Rustsky a nuzzle before turning her attention to the bengal leader. "Thank StarClan that your patrol went well. Were any cats injured?" Her tail would swish behind her as she spoke, and she blinked in what appeared to be relief at the sight of so much prey. As she waited for an answer about the injured, she made a mental not to hurry and fetch Snow and Redstripe to make sure the kittens and queens ate first. Her tail would also brush against Flameseekers side as a notion that this was her idea of course and Moonwatcher was equally as proud of her.

    "Remembering through a secondhand sorrow?"

    ❝ I will sing no Requiem tonight....❞

  • “None are injured my dear, but tonight it is best to enjoy and feast.” He chuckled. Looking at those gathered, he hoped this would brighten up his clan’s spirits. “Tonight we can ignore the moonhigh patrol for a little get together. It can wait a little while.” Blackstar nodded in affirmation.

    "i wait for the morning."

  • THIS IS MY FIGHT SONG 💫

🔺🔻🔺 Crimsnkit frowned. Why was there gonna be a party? Is it gonna be loud? Scary? Maybe. But he knew his father was happy because it seemed like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. Even if he barely understood, it was obvious this change was something they all needed. The scrawny kit definitely understood a meal was coming his way.

    I won’t cry anymore

  • After praising her former apprentice, Flameseeker would hang back and pick out a plump mouse from the fresh kill pile. She would leave the chickens to the warriors and anybody else who would need them. After hardly eating anything for moons, she could barely eat a mouse by herself without her stomach feeling full. Not to mention the troubles of eating with a broken jaw..

After picking up her mouse, she looked around for a spot to sit. It didn't take long before she spotted Crowsight, off by himself. The senior warrior frowned, then padded over to join him. She could faintly remember that he was a former loner, and started to wonder if he felt...unwelcome. She had joined as an apprentice, after living as a loner for six moons. Jumping into training was difficult, but after moons of hard work she finally felt accepted, for the most part. Every once and awhile she still had the gut wrenching feeling of being different that her clanmates, and feeling the need to prove her worth in the clan.

"Hello, Crowsight." she would say gently, not wanting to startle him. "Mind if I sit here?"
