    Adam thought for a moment befor speaking,

    "I mean they were alittle upset at first when I explained everything but then they got like super excited and stutt"

    He shrugged a bit,

    "And what do you mean by maintenance?"

    He questioned slightly as he looked at her. Sure Adam was a nice guy and great with kids but he sure as hell didnt know how to take care of an animal let alone a small human.


    Raven looked at then as they talked and slowly made her some food, shaking his head slightly to himself as he listened to Adam talk before setting down a plate if food for Aria,

    "Hey I'm gonna step out for just a sec"

    He whsipered to Aria and went over to Paul,

    "Can I bum a cigarette?"

    He questioned soflty as the two of them went into the backyard.

    "Child maintence is uh money..payments that you would make because shes going to need nappies and clothes and a crib.."She replied as she watched Raven go and she began to eat "I just..I plan to stay with Raven, so we need to sort out when you want to visit her and such..to fit in with your schedule and mine."She had enrolled in online college, so was trying not to stress herself out over too much work.


    He nodded "Im sorry"He said as he handed one over and lit it for him "I wanted it to be yours..so did she.."He sighed "Overall you were right, but just to be sure. Ill pay for a test when shes born.."He promised "I hope you know your still welcome here and stuff, its your home."

    Adam nodded a bit,

    "Oh that's what that is? Forsure. Mom and me already when and got some gender neutral stuff before we knew what she was, it's at my house..."

    He sighed as he looked at her and scooted his chair closer a bit,

    "Aria we never did get a chance to talk about everything before this all happened...."

    He told her soflty as he looked at her with sad but serious eyes...


    Raven sighed as he leaned back a bit and took a few puffs,

    "I know, I'm still gonna be here for her, no doubt about it. I dont mind helping raise the baby... I just... I dunno..."

    He sighed as he ran his hand through his hair,

    "I was kinda excited to have a baby to look up to me you know?"

    He explained as he looked over at him, forcing a small side smile,

    "I mean I know i could do that with this ba y if she does stay with me but it's not the same thing you know?"

    He added as he took another puff

    Aria sighed some "Adam."She shook her head "I..it took me a while to realise that I had feelings for Raven..and hes been a lot more..caring and considerate and..Im sorry that I kissed him when we were dating but I think we both knew it was over..you slipped right back to being selfish again and ignorant..I don't need that.."


    "I get it, I once dated a girl who had a baby.."He replied "In a weird way its more easy..your not as scared as you are with your own newborn and you learn some skills so when its time for you to have your own kid you know how to do the basics."He sighed "But uh..when her mom died and I was handed this little baby..I thought Id never crack it, Id never be able to be good enough for her..and now we are here."He smiled some "As long as you got love in your heart, you can do no wrong kid."

    Adam sighed a bit,

    "I know Aria... but please... this is our baby... our family... we dont want her to be that kid in school with two address, separated parents, and more... can we just try please..."

    He pleaded,

    "I have enough put back to even get out own place, build our own life as a family..."

    He explained as he gently grabbed her hands.


    Raven looked at him and nodded a bit,

    "True but still... I dont know how you did it, that must have been scary..."

    He said soflty as burnt out the cigarette butt,

    "I'm just worried about what she'll choose"

    Aria let go of his hands and she sighed, feeling guilty for it all. She bit her lip "I need time to think ok? Im not just going to jump between two people all the time."She sighed again and rubbed her face "I just..Im too stressed and the doc said I shouldn't be stressed because of her.."She subconsciously put a hand over her bump "I just want whats best for me ok? I need a lot of time to think.."


    He bit his lip some as he put out his smoke "I just..that boy has money Raven. Hes always gonna have an edge and if I was a pregnant woman with mood swings..I wouldn't be thinking straight at all.."He sighed "Either way, if he ever managed to take her away from you I would fight for her back..hes just a peacock..and when all his feathers fall out hes just gonna be a cock.."He walked inside.

    Adamnfrowned a bit before nodding,

    "I'll give you time... just think about it oksy?"

    He said soflty as he stood up and hugged her a bit,

    "Imma head out. Message me"

    He said soflty before leaving shortly after, smiling when he got out to his car and leaveing.


    Raven listened to him before watching him go inside and began to think. Why was he doing this? Adam... was he just trying to get back at him? Or did he actually want the baby and her...? Raven couldn't stop thinking about it, it repeating in his head over and over again before he felt like he was going to explode. His voice yelling at him in, screaming filling his thought before he began to hear the gunshots again, seeing their faces when he pulled the trigger. He slowly shook his head a bit before walking inside, his face kinda having a blank look before he grabbed a cup of water and looked at Aria,

    "You okau?"

    Aria bit her lip and didn't hug back since she was still trying to keep calm. She sighed and nodded to Raven, then went up to her room not wanting to talk to anyone.


    Two months later Aria was ghosting both of them, she didn't know what to do she wanted a family and a home and she knew Adam must be prying on that. She bit her lip as she went downstairs, she had broken up with Raven last night since she didn't want to deal with anymore drama. She ate breakfast in the living room as she tried to get comfy but her little daughter kept kicking her. She huffed and rubbed her bump some.

    Raven took the break up well in person but in a total he was a mess behind closed doors. He hadnt told Paul yet that she had dumped him, he didnt want him to worry but honestly Raven when out and around people you could tell a difference with how he acted with her just minus all the kissing.


    He sighed as he stared up at the ceiling, hearing moving around up stairs and closing his eyes a bit, forcing himself to get out of bed. He slipped on soem Jean's and his work shirt before heading upstairs and looking over at her,

    "You okay?"

    He questioned soflty as he walked over and offered a gentle smile. She looked uncomfortable, so he grabbed a pillow and handed it to her,

    "Try using that to lean on a bit, might help"

    Before all the break up and everything Raven had been reading up on how to be more helpful during the pregnancy, and apparently pillows were used alot during the uncomfortable phase....

    Aria felt awful for doing it, but she had to think about herself now and her baby. The stress of Raven and Adam and who she would choose was just bad..for everyone. She just wanted it all to end. She glanced at Raven, she could see right though him and knew he was a mess despite his brave face. "Uh thanks.."She gently took it and put it to her side as she tried to get comfy again. "Thats better..shes just really active today.."She bit her lip some "You off to work?"She felt awkward, she wanted to hug him and tell him it was going to be ok, but she didn't want to lead him on either.

    Raven shook his head and sighed a bit,

    "No I took some extra hours so I could be it away for getting a place..."

    He said softly as he looked at her stomach and smiled a bit as he saw the little bumps and movement,

    "Bet shes having a blast in there"

    He laughed a bit as he stood up and stretched a bit looking over at the time,

    "I dont work for another hour though, wanna watch a movie and eat pizza?"

    He questioned soflty as he looked down at her, she was beautiful. Baby belly and all and he could help but stare, his small smile never leaving for a second

    "Oh well..uh I guess you would want to move out.."She bit her lip and pulled a blanket over herself to keep warm "I would love too..Im craving cheese so badly.."She replied as she turned on the tv and went onto Netflix. She was still in love with Raven, maybe it was the hormones. But she couldn't help but feel awful for everything she had put him though. And Adam talking about dating again didn't help. "I..um..hope you know its not personal, last night..Maybe when shes here, and Im not hormonal..maybe it would be the right time to date. But, I just want some time..alone I guess."She rubbed her bump some to try and calm her little girl down.

    Raven nodded as he warmed them up some pizza and brought her a plate,

    "I understand Aria. You dont need to explain"

    He said softly as he leaned back on the couch and flipped through a few channels,

    "You know that no matter what you choose I'm here if you need me"

    He reassured her as he looked over at her, giving her a gentle side hug before finally finding a movie to watch.


    He felt horrible about not being able to hold her at night anymore, or feel her belly with make her get a sad Express

    She demolished the pizza easily, and nodded to his words. She hung out with him until he had to go to work so she hugged him goodbye and went back to the sofa to relax some. She bit her lip and texted Adam -you free? Im bored- She wanted to see if he still meant all that stuff about them moving out and becoming a family unit. Mostly since she needed that reassurance.Once she heard the doorbell she waddled over to the door and opened it "Uh hi."She let him in trying to avoid how whale like she looked

    Once Adam had seen the message he sidnt waste anytime heading over, knocking when he arrived. She let him in it something seemed off with her,

    "Are you okay?"

    He questioned soflty as he looked down at her, his hand traveling and gently resting on her stomach to feel the baby move slightly.


    Raven had left to work, his brain continuously screaming at him. It seemed he couldn't catch a break anymore, he just felt lost. He finally got the girl that he had been crushing on since they were kids and now he was alone again, of course he wouldn't leave her unless she told him to but it still hurt, it just felt like everything that against him and he was coming close to a break down and a bad one at that

    Aria felt uncomfortable standing up so long “I’m alright I guess”she let him feel her kicking before she moved back to the sofa to relax again “ravens at work, I uh dumped him last night.”she had felt so bad she ended up crying all night over it. She hated to do it even though he lied about being fine.

    Adam was honestly shocked to hear that she dumped Raven but secretly happy about it at the same time,

    "Can I ask why?"

    He questioned slightly before he sat down beside her and leaned back a bit,

    "Did you think over everything we talked about?"

    He questioned slightly as he looked over at her,

    "I have the house already and everything... she even has a bedroom my mom helped me set up"

    He told her hoping that would help his chances

    Aria sighed "I just wouldn't..I couldn't deal with the drama."She replied as she watched him. She couldn't tell he was happy. She heard him talk about a house and felt a bit excited "Really? You got a house for us.."She was in shock "Can I see it?"She had been thinking over it but didn't want to admit it.

    He smiled a bit,

    "Of course you can see it. Come on"

    He said sofltly as he grabbed her hand and lead her outside to the car,

    "I made sure to keep it close by becuase I know you want your dad to be in the baby's life"

    He said sforky as they got in the car and drove maybe only five minutes max before pulling up the a beautiful two story home. He slowly got out of the car and helped her out as well,

    "Well what do you think?"

    He questioned softly before holding up the house key and putting it in her hand,

    "Go look around"

    He said excitedly

    Aria was stunned as she thought about living there. She held her bump some as she walked inside and looked around "Its all finished.."She was in shock some and walked upstairs to check it out only to see the nursery, somehow he had remembered her little vision for the nursery, a light gray with white speckles. All lovely white wood furniture. "Wow...is that the scan pictures.."She gently touched them as she stayed in awe. It was her nesting phase soon, so although they had bought baby things..she would need to buy the remaining baby things to be content with having her daughter,
