  • Today felt like it was going to be one of the better ones, especially as he swore into actually interacting with the veilers. Their history and current status was going to be quite useful when it came to understanding if he wished to stay here. The only thing he was going to do differently was writing the gathered information into a small journal that he recently acquired. Having the ability to scribble down his thoughts and such gave the man a sense of ease. Eddie wasn't going to force himself to remember everything, seeing as one's brain could only hold so much. Maybe he could actually talk about shared interests once it was all scribbled between the pages. But for now the male would find himself wandering around the ruins, the book placed neatly within a makeshift sling.

    It would've been nice to have gotten his paws on a bag, yet nobody seemed to have such a thing. Maybe someone would have an idea on where he could find such a thing. There had been talk of a trading post somewhere outside of the clan's territories, but he didn't feel quite comfortable traveling alone. Call it superstition but the tabby preferred to keep his limbs and tail attached. It took a second before Eddie found himself back on track, greeting an npc veiler with a forced smile before he began to chat with them. This conversation didn't last long, as this creature didn't have anything interesting to speak of. He wasn't going to waste a page of valuable paper on a creature with indecisive answers. Who knew the next time that he'd find a book? This was going to help him learn about the shadow veil as well as the people that inhabited it. So there he was again, searching for a creature that could provide an interesting topic to discuss and write about.

    //I'm trying to get Eddie to become a usual so that I may post with him a lot.

    So apologies for any sudden posts or threads.

    Hoping to get his character fully up and moving before March.

  • Low and behold here came someone that thought he himself was a pretty interesting person. Helios thought he had, so far, quite the interesting life and was stuck in quite an interesting predicament. While talking about himself or anything that could've possibly related to him may have been a bit of a sore subject for him, he would still be happy to answer any questions. Ivory paws carried him carefully down the hallway with a lazy saunter. Spotting Eddie he pursed his lips for a moment. Approaching the tabby with the paper he tilted his head by a fraction for a second.

    "Eddie, right?" He questioned with some hesitance in his tone, not made blatantly obvious though. Helios always hated to admit how bad he was with names. "How's your stay been so far?" He asked unsheathing a claw and scratching at his chin beneath his thick coat of alabaster fur. This was the guy that was basically stuck at the hip with that black serval, right?

  • Eddie never really expected someone to stop what they were doing to speak with him. It felt a bit awkward even thought he was looking for someone to speak with. Living alone with just one other creature for years meant he wasn't used to new faces. Despite all of this the tabby did acknowledge the white feline, although he couldn't really do a proper greeting as there was the lack of a name. "Yea....It's been ok so far....." His answer was bland but it did hold truth, nothing really terrible had happened so far. "I'm just not used to living in a group.....Its a bit overwhelming."

    With all due respect the shadow veil was quite nice, but it didn't really give off a homey feel. It was a struggle living off the grid, yet they had managed it for sometime. It was just becoming riskier as clans began taking more and more of the unclaimed lands. "Besides that, I was hoping to learn some things about the veil and it's inhabitants." This hopefully would get a better response then simply asking Helios everything. Eddie could simply be brushed off onto somebody else if he didn't have time.

  • AMBROSIAPAW ;;

    -----> Ambi would trot up next, pressing against Helios. " Well if you have any questions, I can help answer " she purred, sympathetic. She knew a thing or two about feeling overwhelmed in a new place. About wanting to learn all of life's mysteries in all it's little cracks and crevices of the world. She wasn't quite sure if she still felt that curiosity. Looking sideways at Helios, she knew that she'd never want to go far away from him again. She'd put her curiosities on hold for however long it took.

  • MERLIN A. | SV MEMBER | BIO

    Merlin viewed himself as a pretty interesting character. His life was special, full of convoluted circumstances that changed him into the person he was now. After all, who gets exiled from their homeland for attempted murder nowadays? But that didn't mean others weren't just as outstanding. After all, there were kids leading groups and holding high positions in this land. Lots of unusual things happened here as well...

    "Hey there." Came a nonchalant voice, calm as a slow river. With sauntering steps, the feline of silver fur and violet gaze examined Eddie, as if analyzing him. He hadn't met this fellow yet - again, proving that more creatures lived in the Veil than he'd expected - but he seemed friendly enough. Merlin was rather tall, so there was a noticeable size difference between them. There were also dark circles that hung from his eyes like magnified shadows. Jeez. Wonder what he's been up to to get those...

    "If you want to interview me, I'm open." He purred, shooting Eddie a suave smile. He couldn't say much else other than he loved the attention that many gave him in these lands.

  • Glancing over at Magus he blinked. How vain. With a slight roll of his lavender hued orbs he turned back towards Eddie, offering a soft smile. Helios never considered himself an interesting person, at least not interesting enough for an interview. He'd suffered too much, he would just drag the mood down into awkwardness. "Is there anything specific you wanted to know?" He inquired with a tilt of his head. His lilac gaze shifted around for a bit looking for that large ebony serval that was usually glued to Eddie's side much like Ambi to his side. Carrying on he spoke in a slightly more reassuring tone this time, "It can be a bit much at times to live somewhere, I know, I live in several different places actually." In this case several only referring to the Blackheart rogues and the Shadow Veil, nobody really knew he occupied a space in the Dark Dynasty yet. He preferred to keep it that way, it was calmer there, nothing really happened. It was an escape from the constant suffering he lived through daily.
