It felt off wandering away from the veil without Ven by his side. The serval simply seemed to vanish after a few days of their temporary joining, which made the male quite distraught. He didn't like being alone in this world, seeing as it held many dangerous creatures. Some of which Eddie had met formally but never truly interacted with. The small feline could only shiver as he wandered, trying so hard to visualize his love when it came to meeting another clan. This time around he didn't have a figure to settle back on, nor one to start a brisk argument about what they were going to do. The shadow veil had been nice enough with some of their own perks, yet it didn't feel like a place he was willing to call home. They were simply giving him a place to rest for a little, until the feline found himself capable of moving on. A silver chain hung from the male's neck, swinging briskly with each step that he took. Attached to it was a small golden ring, one that held quite a few details nobody knew.
The dark woods still did make him stressed, almost as if a monster would come and drag him into the shadows. Sure Eddie found himself living in areas like this before, the difference was that he was doing this all alone. It didn't take long for the hooded feline to reach a path, one that he hoped was used a few times. His objective was to gather intel about a few clans he knew. Revise them all before he made an actual decision on where the two seemed to fit best. It may take time but it was all going to be worth it in the end. Maybe Eddie could actually keep himself happy for more then a few hours, actually have the chance of starting anew. Away from the judgmental faces that seemed to crowd his past....
