  • POUR ME A HEAVY DOSE OF ATMOSPHERE

*:・゚✦ She was once a member of Dark Dynasty. Before she learned how to speak again. Before she had the nightmares. Before she fought with Ravelights. Before she became the Solaris Kingdom leader. She... she missed it. She missed the bamboo and the fun little chats with the koi in the pond, she missed Softvelvet - would he even recognize her like this? she almost had the heart to step over the border, but she stopped herself. She barely had the earthy scent of the Dynasty now. It was all dust and sun now. "Uhm. Hello? anyone home?" she called out, anxiety in her chest, her paws; she suddenly felt her ribbon, the weight of it around her neck. Maybe that would help them recognize her.

    "Speech."

  • A voice calls into the dimly lit bamboo forest, the softness of the owner's voice easily finding that of Softvelvet's as it traveled along the still air. It piques his curiosity, as he was nearby, so the long-legged catsune would bring himself close to the source of the voice. His thoughts had been preoccupied, swirling with anger as he thinks of ways he could indirectly cause the suffering of the Sanguine Ruins. They'd been a tack in his ass recently, being so bold as to pulling a prank on him, making a mockery of him like the Shadow Veil did. He wasn't going to stand it any longer. He would do as he had promised to the woman he had caught in his palace.

He sees Teacuptempest as he steps through the thickest part of the bamboo, revealing his partially cloaked frame to the Solarian leader. When he looks at her face, recognition does not immediately flash across his gaze but as he allows his gaze to search for something that might prove the woman's familiarity, he finds a very familiar red ribbon tied around her throat.

Dull pink eyes begin to twinkle slightly with the tell-tale signs of recognition as he steps closer, golden marked ears standing at attention as he murmurs out in an clearly relieved voice, "Tea, is that you? My, look how big you've gotten!" Sofie gives a gentle hum, a smile twisting onto his delicately scarred features. "And you can talk now. Oho - you've grown so much without me." He talked to her as if she was his niece or something similar but god, he missed Teacuptempest.

*:・゚✦ There was evident excitement at seeing Softvelvet again; for a moment she was scared the catsune didn't recognize her, but the recognition that sparked in his eyes was telltale relief for the jaguaress. Goodness, she was glad she still wore her ribbon. It... reminded her of home. Maybe she could say she had two homes but, it would be a bit much to have a paw in both worlds. If anything, it was still nice to take a break and visit.

"H-hey, Softvelvet. Sorry it's been so long, so much has... changed." the words spill out of her mouth, and she fumbles for her words a bit; it felt... odd, but familiar, the way they talked together, like her silence before meant nothing at all. "Just wanted to pop by for a visit, I'm- I'm the Dawningcrown of Solaris Kingdom now." it was odd to admit that, too. She'd changed so much but him so little; as plush-looking and gorgeous as usual, but here he was, while she somehow moved up in the world. She learned from the best, at least.

    "Speech."

  • In the sea of stress that crashed into him repetitively, never letting up, Sofie was glad for this break in the storm that was his life currently. It allowed him to breathe and, for this, the catsune was grateful that Teacuptempest had decided to visit him when she did. Otherwise... he might have just lost it. Her words were important to the Emperor, who sat patiently, happy to see an old friend again, his tails curling pleasantly over his paws as an delicate smile tugs upon his prettied features. A lot has changed, hadn't it? Tea was in a new body ( and towered over him now ) and Sofie himself had grown quite a bit taller since she's last seen him. He wasn't any taller than a lynx now, but it was still some pretty substantial growth for someone who had, at one point, been roughly the size of a fully grown feline.

However the news of her ascension to leadership was like music to his ears. Pleasantly surprised he was, and very proud, of course. A light purr rumbles in the throat of the catsune as he says, "Well, congratulations hun!" Maybe that had been why she had sort of disappeared back then - she had a clan to lead! That was understandable. After all, it was hard to lead a clan while having a paw in the other. Perhaps he should learn a thing or two from Teacup, huh? A bashful smile upturning upon rose lips, he gives a small and well-mannered chuckle. "Solaris Kingdom, was it? That's quite a ways away... all the way in the southern end of Orcadia?" The Agrelosian Prince breathes a sigh, gingerly shaking his head. "Are you tired at all, darlin'? You can come into the palace to rest up if you'd like, of course."

*:・゚✦ Even thought Tea was on the smaller end of the larger feline species, she was still somewhat larger than Softvelvet; and it was awkward, somewhat, but it reminded her that she was stronger now. She intended to stay that way - and to keep growing stronger, too. Letting out a soft chuckle, she hummed, "Thank you," before quietly listening to him again. True, it had been quite a long distance, but she wasn't too exhausted, or at least she wasn't feeling it yet. "I'm feeling fine, thank you, but - it would be lovely to stop and chat with you if that's alright?" she asked; she hadn't seen anyone else since she arrived, which was a little sad, but she wouldn't mind more company if it came to it.

For a moment, she felt a pang of sadness; she felt so comfortable around Softvelvet, for a reason she couldn't place her paw on. It felt wrong, that she wasn't completely attuned with her clan yet, but... there wasn't much she could do about it, was it? she let out a soft sigh; she wished she knew who her family was, who she was - her lack of memories before the dynasty was troubling, and so long as she was there, it was a pestering memory. She wasn't sure how to think about it though - Sofie certainly wouldn't have any answers for her. Maybe she could ask him about where he came from sometime.

    "Speech."

  • Saturn appeared after hearing voices of a stranger and her brother, head tilted in childlike curiosity. Her eyes laid upon Teacup, which caused her to tilt her head and perk her ears. Softie seemed to know her so well- were they related? The catsune doubted it... But they did speak like they were! She slightly frowned before offering a small smile, coming besides her brother.

"Softie, who is this?" she'd ask him quietly, ears flicking as she twitched in excitement. She'd turn away from her brother to Teacup, offering her a large grin now. "Hi there! I am the lovely Saturnblessings, pleased to meet you." she purred out, eyes twinkling as if it was christmas. Ah, she was always so excited for newcomers.

i'd never lose you even if the stars come crashing down and everything burns —— tags.

*:・゚✦ Tea's attention was pulled away from Softvelvet as another came to join them, as she'd hoped - but as she spotted Saturnblessings, she froze for a moment. This feeling, this nagging feeling, so similar to the one with Softvelvet; she wanted to push it away, but instead she simply asked, "I'm Teacuptempest! have we met before, by any chance?" she asked, although she couldn't be sure herself.

    "Speech."

  • Slipping from the shadows like a single snowflake melting into sight from the sky he made his way onto the scene. Lilac hued eyes flicked towards Teacuptempest, an odd name to be sure, but he was no better with the name Helios. Snowy colored paws took silent steps as the feline stepped up beside the others. Politely dipping his head towards the dawningcrown he spoke, "Hello there, I'm Helios, it's a pleasure." His voice, despite being only five months old, was smooth and calm as he spoke. It was surprising to hear such a mature tone coming from such a young feline but he was a moderately important person so he had to speak in such a way. Not to mention the constant suffering he'd been through since birth. That was definitely another factor.

Lilith would come up behind Helios, her blind eyes somehow managing to focus in Teacuptempest's general direction. "Lilith, nice to meet you" was all she'd said, her friendly smile ever present beneath her foggy eyes. She wondered who this chick was, exactly, and why she came all the way here to have a conversation with a bunch of strangers. Did she have nothing better to do? No other friends to chat with?

  • SHE'S A KILLER QUEEN && the dark dynasty & tags

Oh? And who was this? Ada was well aware that the Dark Dynasty had an established history; a history that did not involve her until a few days ago. But the fact that old faces were returning to visit was going to make her add more and more names to her list of people to remember, and the reasons that she needed to would likely get longer and longer the more history they had. From what the panther was able to gather, this "Tea" had been a member of the Dynasty long before Ada had ever been a thought, judging by how Softie was quick to recognize her. Tea had been younger, smaller, and much less talkative. A mute perhaps? Something to read up on if she could. And she was a leader of the Solaris Kingdom. Not just a pawn in someone else's game. Tea made the rules now. Fascinating. Wonder how someone such as this had come to inherit such a prestigious role. Ada wondered if she would ever be able to do the same. The Noble figured that now would be a good time as any to enter and make her introductions, and so that is exactly what she did. "Hello darling. My name is Ada. Pleasure to meet you."
