  • Venom.

Eddie was not known to be an early riser, as he never fell asleep at the most decent times. It only got worse when his mind thought up the whole idea of being kidnapped while he slept. This place they were currently staying in wasn't home for him, they'd been pushed out of this old home when clans got to greedy with their territory. It hadn't been perfect but did indeed give a sense of security, as well as a place where nobody could really force their way inside. This wasn't the realization that he wanted to come to, but there wasn't anything else to be done. It was far to late to try and head back there, despite how badly he wanted too.

There had been a promise to keep everyone safe, which was one of the reasons he didn't wanna start fights. Trying to care and heal himself was one thing, but it wouldn't be any better if he was alone. Ven was one of the last people that he trusted, everyone else just vanished without a trace. All these thoughts had Eddie staring at nothing, not an expression on his face. The tension that was built-up within his mind was a part of his problem, but it appeared he rather suffer then come up with a solution.

(Decided I wanted a thread that happened before they ended up in the veil. I hope that's alright

I need something to combat future angst)

  • CHAMPAGNE, COCAINE, GASOLINE; AND MOST THINGS IN BETWEEN.

Venom was drawn from slumber by the flurry of emotions transmitted through the mental and spiritual link he shared with his other. His broad head lifted as he looked to the domestic feline curled against his side, chocolate eyes looking at nothing in particular. "Something troubling you, Love?" He inquired softly, or about as softly as a voice booming in your mind could be.

Venom caught the vague images of those in the past leaving Eddie behind, both before and after the two had met. It always tore the serval up inside how alone Eddie had been forced to feel even in the company of others.

  • "No, don't worry about it" It wasn't always a good thing that they shared thoughts, but the idea of being lonely and forgotten was way worse. To the few people that lived out their lives alone, they were the champions of solitude. Eddie wasn't capable of being alone forever, he craved the attention and wanted to actually be apart of something. It was one of the negative traits that held a toll on how he reacted in situations. "I didn't mean to wake you. It's still pretty early"A yawn came from the shorthair almost immediately after he was finished speaking. Even after being up for a little bit, apart of him wanted to simply sleep the day away. Oh that did sound like a wonderful idea, yet his mind wasn't going to simply lay low again. The chance of being pestered by nightmares was a large one, especially with how actively his mind was bringing up memories. There were quite a few more pleasant memories then there was bad ones, yet they always seemed to hit twice as hard.
